Potential consumer scam on parking. At least four other cars experienced the same problem at one meager showing. You validate your parking ticket in the movie theater and the ticket has an arrow pointing the direction for insertion. If you fail to turn your ticket upside down to validate at the machine inside the theater, youll be asked to pay about $8 or $9 for parking. When exiting you must then reverse the ticket direction again and insert opposite of how the theater required. I would guess the theater gets a cut of the excessive parking fees for people who get a line of cars lined up behind them to exit and so under pressure pay the ridiculous parking fee. By the way, no parking staff were anywhere in site at the exits. At the theaters special direction we were given a location away from the exits where the parking staff were barely visible behind partially closed blinds. Given parking scams Ive seen on Mill Ave, Id rate this one a lower cost to consumers than say a tow scam. Never the less, $9 for parking in Phoenix is practically unheard of, especially when you go through the motions of having your ticket validated, only to find the directions on the ticket misled the consumer into thinking they were set for take off. Essentially, youll probably feel like youre being held captive while you wait for someone in your party to go get the ticket problem sorted out while you double park in a tow away zone, like I observed three other vehicles do while they also sorted out this problem. The theater and the parking garage intend to either rob your time or your money through this method. The theater staff were also completely uninterested in the multiple confused customers trying to desperately hang on to their money. Times must be tough, because one lady was driving a Mercedes and she had to leave her car unattended in the reserved parking to successfully negotiate her release from the parking gulag at AMC 24 in downtown Phoenix. LAME!

I visited this theatre this evening, and it was the worst movie experience I have had in a long time. When I arrived for my 5pm movie, only 1 person was working the snack bar, so the line was moving very slowly. The jumbo hot dog cost $5.89, and was not a jumbo hot dog.. it was pretty small. The AMC by my house has a good size jumbo hot dog, as does the Harkins I go to. I had to ask the attendant twice if she served me the correct one. It literally took 20 minutes from the time I walked up to the counter, until the time I received my food (1 *jumbo* dog, 2 mozzarella sticks, and an order of chicken tenders). The soda fountains were all out of ice, and no one was taking care of it despite the complaints. The bathrooms were dirty, with many unflushed toilets (maybe they didnt work?), and was obviously not wiped down in a long while. The theatre was not busy while I was there, so there really isnt an excuse. My last complaint is with the prices. The ticket prices are half the price of the AMC by my house, but they quickly make up for it with their food prices. What normally cost $50 for food by our house, cost $70 at this theatre, not to mention the very overpriced hot dog. The picture of the hot dog doesnt do it justice of how small it was vs. the price.

I have been comeing here since there was a food court in the court Yard and always found it to be a enjoyable experience. Among my favorite snacks while watching a movie has always been the nachos. To my understanding the nacho cheese has been switched out for a cheaper cheese... HUGE MISTAKE. The nacho cheese leaves your saliva thick and a nasty with a chalky after taste and smells unsettling. Not my best experience. In addition to the cheap cheese, the cups have been switched from a plastic cup to a cheap paper cup. This whole horrible came with a pretty pricey bill. Thirty dollars for a cup that leaks within the first 45min. and nasty cheese that makes you want to throw up. Not the same memorable experience that I remember. I would not be missing my movie to writ a long winded review if my visit was not a good one. For all the money that is being spent and the hundreds of people paying you would think that they would not down grade to inexpensive items. Poor and disappointing...VERY.

This theater... Is not the best. Suboptimal even for an AMC which is saying something. Recently went to see Annabelle: Creation and it was one of the weekday movie experiences Ive had in a good while: The bathrooms were completely out of towels and any other method to dry ones hands. None of the four Coke Freestyle machines had any ice and it took a long time to get the issue addressed (they were still out of ice when my movie was over). Im not sure what type of idiot parents take their noisy little one to an R rated horror film - this isnt the theaters fault (common sense is in short supply). But it did take a long time for the issue to get addressed. The machine to validate parking wasnt working for some reason. Also, the popcorn is kinda bad. On the plus side the staff is friendly enough. I hate leaving negative reviews but my experiences here unfortunately warranty it. I would love to change it to positive review if/when things improve.

Buenos precios pero la proyeccion de la sala 21 es muy pobre, se ve muy oscura no se puede observar la claridad de proyeccion digital, le hace falta mucho mas brillo y claridad. Vi Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 y sali muy desanimado era la sala 21. Compre boletos adelantados para Alien: Covenant y me toco la sala 21 y otra vez sali muy desanimado.
