The gravel off-leash area is small and featureless but worst of all its filthy. Expect to give your pup a bath after visiting here and possibly a vet checkup. The rest of the park seems to always house several drifters. They seem harmless but it is a bit jarring to see with kids playing on the jungle gym not too far away. It is the oldest park in Seattle and it is nice to see some green in the middle of the city. Hopefully this space will be better utilized in the future.

I live two blocks from Denny and its ok during the day. Still creepy. At night its a place you want to stay away from. Anybody ever noticed the mass police presence and at night they are watching the park like a hawks. That only means they are looking for someones or somebodys stay away a night .

I came by here when I was walking through the city. The park is nothing special by itself. However it is supposed to be the first park ever errected in Seattle. If you like to watch squirrels this is a great place. There are quiet a lot of them running around and they are not very shy.

Its your typical shabby American park with unfortunate homeless people sleeping on the benches all the time. Doesnt have anything special nonetheless its a gem for amazonian to get away from your computer during lunch time and enjoying fresh air and beautiful green grass and flowers.

Theres a fair bit of construction going on in and around the park, but overall, its a great place for a quick walk or simply watching peoples dogs play. Theres usually a nice breeze blowing on hot days and theres water fountains on the walkways for cooling off.

A smaller green park in Seattle. Nice place to relax but very small. Maybe frisbee but nothing else. Small pet off leash area. Nice for a picnic but no grilling. Has a kids play area and swings. Great venue to stage an event like a craft fair.

A small place of tree therapy in Seattle that often hosts events throughout the year. I went in the end of summer during a food truck roundup, Saturday market, and a cider tasting event. I was surprised not to find too many homeless people around.

The recent renovations make it a great place to hang out on a summer afternoon. You can go to the Whole Foods buffet nearby and take your food to the park and sit with friends. There is also the dog park and some play structures for kids

Nice children area. And a place to siesta under the pine trees :) What I would recommend is just to force guys with dogs to go to their area, dont allow dogs playing on the grass, where are other people and children often reside.

If youre searching for squirrels (Australians find them interesting!) youll find a couple here. Small park with a few seats in the middle. Could be a nice spot to rest while waiting for your Space Needle booking

Reviewing mostly the dog park here. I dont like the gravel park and the dogs dont either. Generally this park is pretty and there are homeless here, but they keep to themselves.

Its a small park in Seattle by a highway... dont expect much. Always has some campers. I would definitely avoid it at night. Its nice to walk through to get to SLU from Belltown.

Odd convergence point of schoolchildren, office workers, vagrants, and tourists. Overly friendly squirrels. Spot where many locals come to nap any time of night or day.

Small park, its nice in the day but their can be some dark corners at night that I would avoid. The basketball court is usable and gets the job done on a nice day.

Very nice urban park. Has a dog area and a play structure area for kids. Has ample metal seating in the middle. Theres even a summer market on Saturdays

With the addition of the off-leash area, there is more positive activity in Denny Park. It feels a lot safer than it did before the dog park was there.

Theyve really cleaned up this place from a few years ago. Now there are some tables and you can sit in relative quiet. The playground looks fun too.

Other than the basketball courts, I see no reason to visit this park. It serves as a homeless encampment and a small bit of shade off Denny st.

There are local artists performing at times during lunch hours. Theres an off leash area, but sometimes people dont clean behind their dogs.

Beautiful urban park. Love the central square seating, watching the traffic back up from the comfort of an evergreen oasis.

Do not expect a lot from this park. OK is the best way to describe it. They should do better with keeping it greener.
