Id say for a newly built golf course that incorporates a new layout, this is a beautiful layout. The maintenance, however, isnt as great as the layout is. For a new age public course, Id say its probably average to a little above average. There is no clubhouse and only a tent for banquet events. What the course is really missing is yardages, however. There are certain holes that are placement style holes and you have no clue how far your drive needs to be in order to hit the fat part of the fairway. You can definitely score on this course, but youll have to play it a few times to score your best to get used to the course.

Heron Glen is a wide, beautiful course with great terrain and lots of good play. For a public course, this is tops. Ample driving range facilities with mats and off the grass in-season. A practice green is also available as well as a bunker on the driving range which is great for practicing those sand hits without worrying about skulling someone! Finally, a friendly staff makes this one of my favorite places to play and practice.

So slow and backed up that we could not finish 18. Somehow a very very very slow threesome got in front of us on the back nine. There was a five-some playing best ball. The five some cut in front of the slow three......we just packed it in. No ranger around to keep play moving made for a very unpleasant experience.

My wife and I played the course yesterday with two of our grandchildren--16 and 19. We all had a great time. Looked crowded but it moved without problems-about 4hrs. 10 minutes. People couldnt have been nicer. In good shape and interesting. Liked it a lot.

Top 3 public course in Nj. Course maintenance, same company that does Hamilton Farm. New club house being built and new sand in bunkers. Course is always in A+ shape when I play. Only thing thats annoying it sometimes gets backed up 5+ hr rounds

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The course and greens are in very good shape. Its a good mix of holes that require length and shot placement. Id recommend this course.

Very nice track! Not terribly difficult from tee to green, but once on the greens, thats where the fun really starts! Definitely earns its 131 eating from the blue tees.

Course is always in great condition. Rangers are able to.keep round usually 4 to 4 and a half hours.
