These types of centers seem to be the norm when new ones are constructed these days. Gone are the days of a simple "Bowling Alley". This one even has a restaurant. The bowling rates are by the hour only and range from $25/hr for the 24 lane area and $30/hr for the "VIP" "10 Pin Alley". We have vistited twice; First time we went to the "10 Pin Alley". It is a very nice place but the room gets very warm and stuffy. There are nice couches with coffee tables to set your food and drinks. There is more seating behind with bar stool height chairs and tables. The extra $5/hr must cover the two huge television screens hanging on the wall above the pin decks. Each one is 5 alleys wide! We thought this area would exclude children but not so. It should, in my opinion... The alleys in the VIP area seemed to have good oil on them. Our second visit we bowled on the regular lanes. They have nice tables that will seat 4 and have self retracting chairs. There is more seating behind with bar stool height chairs and tables. The alleys had a LOT of oil carry down... Both areas have servers that will take care of any food or drinks you want. When they are busy, they pack up to 8 people on a lane, you are only able to get two lanes if you have more than 8 people. Luckily it was not busy so we had no problems getting 2 lanes with only 6 people. I cannot imagine how cramped it would be with 8 people per lane. On our first visit we were next to a family of 6 and they kept hanging around on our approach... The cosmic bowling is pretty lame, loud music and colored lights on the pin deck is about all you are going to get. Their sound system is great but I honestly expected much more. Treasure Island Casino still holds the title for THE best cosmic bowling! They save you the trouble of having to learn how to operate the score keepers, theyll get everyones name and shoe size, punch the names into the computer for you and bring you all of the shoes. All in all, they are very much like the Brunswick ZONE alleys in the area. Overall I would give the bowling a 3.5 star if that was possible because of the slightly steep price tag. We plan on going back to try the lazer tag depending on the prices of that.

We met up with friends to play laser tag. There was no wait this Friday night, which was nice. We played our first game and had a blast. Unfortunately, a group of 11 was behind us so we asked if we could wait a game and play without the big group. They said yes and gave us a buzzer that would page us when their game was over. We proceeded to play some arcade games and noticed that it had been a while without the pager going off. We talked to the people and they said that it would go off in two minutes. After 3 minutes, they let another group in and our pager still hadnt gone off. We went up and asked what was going on and they said we can join the current group. We asked specifically to play by ourselves and were told we could the next game. They said they dont do that, and the person that said we could wasnt on the clock. I then asked why they never paged us (it had been an hour), and they told us that we were lying and that it had only been 15 minutes. We showed them the reciept to prove them wrong, but they never apologized. We played our second game by ourselves after waiting another 15 minutes. Very dissapointed in the service of the teenagers, and 40 year old manager who all spent their time accusing us of being wrong, when it was their staff that had made mistakes. Additional Notes: Drinks were around $5 each, sitting at the bar - there was decent service. The arcade games were fun. Music was a bit loud.

My boyfriend and I wanted to go out for lunch and play some games. We decided on Pinz because my previous experience on a Friday night was good. To my disappointment I had no experience this time. We went in Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 and walked into Harveys Pub. The place was completely empty. No customers and no staff. We waited inside for a few minutes to see if someone would come out. TVs were on, and all the lights were on but still no staff. After about 5 minutes I went up to the bowling desk and ask the lady behind the desk if they were open. She said yes. I explained that there was no staff members in there. She said someone should be with you soon. I went back into Harveys Pub and waited for another 10 minutes and much to my disappointment no one came out to wait on us. At this point were we very upset and very hungry so we just left. We ended up going to The Big Thrill Factory. They had more than enough staff on hand. We were greeted when we walked in the door. In the restaurant area our order was taken right away and cooked in a timely manner. We ended up staying at Big Thrill Factory for 3 hours and spent close to $75 for food and games. So just a word to the wise might want to consider someplace else than Pinz for an afternoon of food, drinks and games.

We had free bowling passes with the website kidsbowlfree which allows you to sign up any and every child in your family for free bowling all summer long on certain days of the week. For a very low rate, like $10, you can add on up to 4 adults. All you have to pay for is the rental bowling shoes, which are $3.75 per person during certain dates or times. We opted for the bumpers to be up, 6 pound bowling balls, and a plastic dragon helper for the kids to get the ball down the lane. We got 2 frames for free. The children enjoyed bowling because it was their first time and it was really fun and easy for them. We ordered free water to stay hydrated. We were planning on skipping the arcade until I saw a small flyer saying that if you text PINZ1 to 51660, they will give you a free $5 arcade card. So I did it and the other adult in our party did the same thing, too. Now we were able to give both children in our group $5 to play with in the arcade. This got them about 30 minutes of fun, followed by about another 10 minutes of deciding what to spend their "tokens" on.

I brought my family there for my sons birthday. Mind you it was only four of us we decided we could just walk in given it was a Wednesday. We decided to get food first, there was a new girl waitressing. We werent so much upset with her as we were with the fact that there was no one there to help her out with our food and drink questions. We didnt much enjoy the food, but decided bowling would turn things around. When we got to the counter we literally stood in front of a lady that was showing her friend, her newly done nails. We literally (I am not kidding) sat there, IN FRONT of her as she talked to her friend and finished her conversation before she deemed she was ready to help us. All of this while there was literally no one in the alley. They were not busy at all and still for some unforeseen reason, were not capable of providing even sub par service. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place at all, to anyone, whatsoever!
