Went to see Annabelle last night and I must say I was pleased with the movie even though it was pretty scary. When we walked in we asked the guy what seats were available and said that only the 1st and second row. I asked him if he was sure that those were the only seats and he said yes. We were already there so we took what we could get. I hate being that up close to the screen it hurts my eyes. We get in the movie theater and noticed that there were plenty of empty seats to the far back on the theater. I paid it no mind thinking that maybe people still havent come in yet. Halfway through the movie I looked back again and there was still not much a difference from before. I was a bit puzzled. I could have gotten a better seat and didnt because they were not accurate with the seating chart. Seating in a movie theater is very important to me. I was disappointed to say the least. I do love the $5 movie deal that Marcus has to offer though. My only thing to complain about which is a big deal is the updating of the system when it comes to seating. I will also add that I love that fact that you can lean back and watch the movie with comfort so for that I have added an extra star then the 2 I originally put.

Dinner and a movie; 1.) I understand that a business has to have cut off points at which they will shut down certain parts of the business to save money, but when there is a line of people waiting​ to order food, you dont decide to shut down the restaurant {Zaffiros}. 2.) When a concession stand has one of anything left over, that means it is time to prepare more of that item before someone comes along and wants the last one or maybe more. Do not try to dissuade your customers by telling them its going to be "... a long wait. A very long wait." While we watch you and the others do your closing duties. It would have taken you three minutes to microwave a hot dog from frozen. 3.) I would like to thank the staff at South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek, WI for making dinner and a movie AN UNDESIRABLE EXPERIENCE FOR A THIRD CONSECUTIVE TIME. We get to go out once about every three months and I will not make the same mistake a fourth time. You have proven to me that all of the services that you business provides are over priced and completely​ unnecessary. It is my opinion that your business enjoys bilking people for their money.

I hadnt been to this theater for years. I typically went to the Marcus Majestic as it was closer to where I lived. Recently, I had found myself on this end of town and wanted to see Deadpool. I remembered they had renovated South Shore and decided to give it a try. As soon as I walked through the door I was blown away! Long gone is the theater I remembered as a kid... Replaced with this modern marvel. Simple modern design reigns alongside the latest movie going technology. Giant touchscreen personal box offices, a large take five cocktail lounge, every seat is a reserved seat (please let this trend catch on), and dream lounger seats with huge amounts of aisle space... The future is now. I know reside Im Kentucky... And there is nothing close to this. I highly recommend this theater if you want to have a drink and bite to eat, not have to worry about finding a seat in the dark, and enjoy a movie in complete comfort.

I have been going to this theater since I was a kid and have always loved it! Could not believe how much it has changed and boy is it STILL one of the best movie experiences I have ever been to! It really is trying to capture the dinner and a movie experience! Were in the future people. No more buying a ticket from a person, you buy it at the high tech kiosk. There is a bar with great drinks and food, a great concessions stand with the BEST popcorn I have ever had, and the theaters are fantastic! Electric COMFY recliners with a ton of space. Seriously. We saw Spiderman and a teenager fell asleep in his seat. It is that comfy. The screens are big with a great picture and superb sound! This place is chic. Very nice and very clean! Go to this place to see your next movie!

Marcus Theatres have come a long way. Just like the technology behind movies; these cinemas have vastly improved their tech. Whether its a great 3D experience or Atmos sound, you really cant go wrong. Now some them have also added a nice bar, Zaffiros Express Pizza, and DreamLounger seating. The pizza is outstanding! And the DreamLounger seating is worth the price of admission. All that said, though. The concessions are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!! $5.01 for a vitamin water! Are you freaking kidding?! Youre better off to eat before hand and just go enjoy the movie experience. Because the prices are just stupid... Oh, and make sure to sign up with the movie rewards. Theyre nice to have! That, and go on Tuesdays! $5 movies and free popcorn with a rewards card. Great value!!

Positives: They offer a good variety of movies, with opportunities at cheaper tickets (Tuesdays and matinees). The seats are very comfy. Nice big parking lot. Nice to have the pizza parlor and liquor served. Netatives: – The interface of their ticket buying kiosks could use some work to make the steps clearer. Which would help move the lines along faster. – Have two ticket takers at all times to move the line along faster. – According to my husband the mens room was disgusting. There are plenty of ushers cleaning garbage and sweeping popcorn, but that energy needs to be diverted to keeping BATHROOMS CLEAN. Clean bathrooms are essential for any business where the public has access – especially large numbers of people.

They sacrificed lobby space for the fancy concession stands, that also block a third of the lobby exit doors with seating for the concession stand. The other doors are blocked by a new box office which seems redundant considering the ticketing kiosks lined up with the only serviceable lobby door. All lobby traffic is forced inefficiently through a single set of doors in the middle, past the ticketing kiosks. The concessions, including the new "fancy" offerings are low quality and a poor value. The seats are oversized, not comfortable and noisy. Worst of all the staff seemed to lack any proper training or supervision. Its a poor retrofit to compete with the boutique like iPic theatre in Shorewood.

I drive over the road, and go to movie theatres often in many different states. Marcus South Shore Cinema is tied with Cinepolis theatres in California as the best theatres Ive ever been too. The theatre building is nice, excellent screens and sound, the leather, reclining seats were so comfortable I could have slept in it. The popcorn was fantastic and plentiful. Only small complaints are: the restrooms are too small for such a large theatre, and the screening room was a little warm, though I did feel the ac cool it down some halfway through the movie, but those are just two minor issues. I highly recommend visiting, and I cant wait to get back to Wisconsin to enjoy it once again.

Remodeled with the huge dream lounger chairs! I love this theatre because of the comfort of the seating. Every Tuesday they have discounted movie tickets. Make sure to buy the tickets online or earlier in advance. They sell out very fast. Only down side of this location is lack of authority. Many times Ive seen films and there were viewers being very disruptive and using their phones the whole time. I never once saw an usher check up on individual showings. That would be nice to ensure everyone can enjoy the movie they paid a ton of money to see. But thats just my opinion! Lastly for those who love their booze... There is a bar in this Marcus where you can purchase drinks!
