A beautiful park. Great place to go for a walk and/or take your pets. Its also right next to Ravenna Park if you want more canopy. There was a theater production going on when I visited Cowen that was really entertaining. I get the feeling that kind of thing goes on there a lot.

Relaxed, mostly college students and families with kids, joggers. Little bit of everything to do here- play field, playground, woods, picnic tables, baseball diamond. Parking not abundant at ALL. Middle of the week midday hardly anyone there sometimes til after rush hour.

For its location, it really does offer a great outdoor experience with access to basketball courts, playground, baseball/kickball area, trails, and open grass areas for activities.
