When I was a little girl, the Hat and Boots were part of a gas station in Georgetown. My grandpa would take me there specially and tell me that Paul Bunyan left his hat & shoes here! I was so thrilled that concerned citizens saved this little treasure. Theres so little of mid-century Seattle left. My children loved them when they were little and I look forward to showing them to my grandchildren as wel (a long time from now)l!!

This is a well maintained park that artist go to draw, take picture and paint. Parents bring their kids to play and there is even a community garden. It is street parking and George town doesnt have the best reputation but it is worth the visit. My kids and I loved it. Played for a little over an hour took a few pictures met another really nice couple with their kids and went home with a different park to add to our list.

A small park in Georgetown which is home to the famous hat & boots structures which used to be a Gas Station on what is now the Georgetown venous of south seattle community college, one of my favorite places for picnics, reading & reflection/thought

What can I say about Oxbow Park that hasnt been said? The enormous hat and boots. The P-Patch garden. The benches and picnic table which make this little parklet an urban respite. Viva Oxbow! Keep being you.

Small park, but packs in a playground, picnic tables, grass, and a P-patch. And of course, the iconic hat and boots.
