This bowling alley is the single worst bowling alley I have ever experienced. I have been in bowling alleys since before I could walk. I worked in bowling alleys for 5 years. I have been bowling for close to 25 years. About a year ago, I had some poor customer service and decided against further patronage at Brunswick Majestic. To make matters worse, the poor customer service came from the "customer service" manager. When my former team called and asked me to fill in, I decided to give the alley one more shot. I know that every now and then, people can have bad days. Maybe my previous bad experience was an anomoly. I was mistaken. Tonight I the lanes gouged my bowling ball. This is unpleasant, but understandable - bowling alleys age and screws come loose. Sometimes a board bends and exposes a previously unexposed nail. I know most alleys will gladly sand or buff out the gouge at no charge. Majestic was no different. All was as well as could be expected under the circumstances. As I was about to leave, my wife told me about another unrelated issue with terrible customer service at Brunswick Majestic (tonight). This was simply too much. I knew I was mistaken to come back to this poor service. I had had enough. I went back inside to let the Pro-Shop know that they could resurface my ball and then send it back to me at my home address - I was not going to come back to Bruswick Majestic ever again. The young lady at the desk told me that was not possible. Fine - then kindly return my ball and I will have another bowling alley do the work and send you the bill. Again, the young lady at the desk said that was against their policy. I told the young lady that the bowling alley had one of two options: either resurface my ball and return it to me at my home address, or pay for a pro-shop of my chosing to do the work. I was not going to step foot in this place again. She asked for her manager. Shortly thereafter, the young lady returned with none-other-than the same "customer service" manager. I saw the manager roll her eyes when she recognized me (you can see every detail of an eye roll that comes from behind Coke-bottle-glasses). Irked, but determined, I politely restated Brunswick Majestics options. When I said that it was because I was not returning to the bowling alley again, the "customer service" manager laughed in my face!!! What the h...? What manager laughs in a customers face about a customers complaint? Irked turned into incensed. I have had poor customer service before, but this was incredible. The manager truly acted like her customer was completely irrelevant. Twice. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me! Shame on me! I hope this review spares at least one discerning customer from an evening or afternoon of bad customer service. There are many more family-friendly bowling alleys in the area - bowling alleys that show more than indifference towards their customers.

Had 8 people in our group for a going away party on a Saturday night. We put our names down and went into the bar area to have a seat and get some drinks. The lady at the counter saw us come in but did not acknowledge us or ask if we wanted anything to order. In fact, we did not see any type of service personel working in that area the whole time we were there. The lady at the counter went out and never returned. We waited for 15 min. inside the bar area and then we heard our name called (letting us know that our lanes were ready). We figured we get drinks later after we got our shoes. We each paid and got our shoes. But when we went to type in our names, there were not enough spots. We asked the lady at the front counter where we paid and she said that two of our people didnt pay. We had to get everyones receipt to show her that we all paid. By the time it was all sorted out, our playing time, that we paid for, was less. The pitcher of beer we bought was expensive and did not taste all that good. BTW, their policy is to have 2 members from your group present (over the age of 21 with ID) in order to sell you the pitcher of beer. Overall: Poor service (in some instances, no service received), Poorly maintained lanes and balls were in bad conditions also. From the other reviews and friends that have gone there before, this is the typical experience you will have if you go there. Hope the readers find a better place than this one to go bowling.

Not worth your time or money. Bowling is a fun time, but this location is all about the money. The customer service is terrible. My girlfriend and I went here to bowl with our friends. We were told we could bowl until the bowling league started two hours from then. We thought that meant we got a 2 hour session. What that really meant from them is that we could keep buying more rounds for two hours. we ended our first round and the game kicked us out. We went up to ask what that was about since we thought we paid for two hours. The employee rudely explained the situation and didnt offer any form of customer service. We paid $20 for a couple pairs of bowling shoes and 1 game of bowling. Renting their nasty, worn-out shoes costs about as much as playing 1 round at their alley. I will avoid this place in the future and I recommend others to do the same. A combination of both overpricing and poor customer service is enough of a reason to never come here again

Poor customer service. We were put on the glitchiest lanes in the alley with a climax of a 15 minute wait on resetting our stuck gate. We pushed the service button and they sent someone to ask if we "pushed the button?" and after another 10 minutes we asked the counter again, and got a frustrated look to the ceiling and a loud "AHHHHGH!" for our apparent nagging. After this delay we asked to only extend a 3 of the 4 people on our lanes games from the 2nd to the 4th game, but due to being unable to delete the 4th person on the list we just continued to bowl. We were shocked when the game ended abruptly in the 6th frame for the whole group. As to why this occurred the front desk explained that we buy frames, not games. Our group used up the 60 frames. The whole thing was frustrating and the staff did little to nothing to help.

We had a great time bowling here, but this venue was TERRIBLY understaffed (it was a Monday, I believe it could have been "bowling league night"). We had to wait over an hour for our food order, which we ordered 15-20 minutes before bowling, and it didnt come out until we were done bowling. The food prices were recently raised .50 cents to a dollar, and the food is frozen and fried (I recommend eating before hand, unless you want greasy appetizers). The bowling was great - I recommend going on Tuesdays ($2 games and shoes). Also, if you have young kids - they have bumbers and a rack on the last lane!!

I just took my family bowling this last Saturday night for cosmic bowling. It was a bit pricing since a one of my kids is only 2 and still got charge full price. But in the end, it was a really good experience. They had little tiny shoes for my kids, a ramp to help push the bowl down the lane (so much better than me pushing it with them) and one of the workers came by and gave my son some glow sticks. It seems a little bit of an older place, but overall it was a good experience. The bartender there wasnt the nicest but the other employees seem to make it good.
