I have only been to WRC 3 times (this year only) and I have to say it was a lot of fun. There are not many activities to do in the Little Rock area so if I ever have visitors from out of state in the summer, I would definately point them toward the park. There are free tubes you can use on all the tube rides, including the lazy river. The only advantage of the rental tubes is that you can use it in the wave pool (free tubes not allowed) and on the 4 person waterslide (otherwise you need at least 2 people and use the 4 person tube). So unless that is important to you, no need to rent a tube. Regarding previous reviews: I did not see any additional charge to go on a ride. I dont have kids, so I can not comment on the kiddie pool area. Yes, they have replaced the sign going into the park. I have not had to use the bathroom so I can not rate how clean it was. I did notice some grass in the wavepool last time. There are grassy areas around the park so some kid prob just brought it into the pool. I also did not notice anyone wearing tube socks, but I may not have noticed because that does not revolt me as it does another reviewer. Every public pool is going to have little kids pee in it so grass and socks dont really bother me. Thats what all those chemicals in the water is for. As for the price, a day pass seems a bit too expensive. However, if you come after 3pm it is cheaper, so that is what I would recommend if you only plan on coming once. I would recommend the season pass otherwise. The regulary priced season pass is an OK price, but they do offer it for much cheaper if you can buy them in group. This time a year, that would be 12 or more passes... but I bought mine back in Feb so I only had to order 3. I will probably go to WRC at least 30 times so my $35 season pass will be a great deal! The price of food is expensive, of course. I have never been to any kind of amusement park where it was not. Bring your own picnic food, they have a picnic area where you can keep it. I also do not bring any valuables into the park so I do not have to rent a locker. My recommendation: If you can, avoid going during the weekend. The lines would be much shorter for the rides during the week. That means you can ride them many more times! My favorite is the Vertigo :)

I took my two boys to WRC this past Sunday. We bought our tickets online to take advantage of the discounted rates. Zero hassle to enter the park. No bag check. Lockers are $6+$5 deposit. The lines on each ride were very short compared to bigger theme parks. We probably waited in line for less than 5 mins at the smaller rides, and less than 20 at the biggest rides. They did not seem to enforce any height restrictions on the slides, so this is a great destination if you have kids that might not be tall enough for rides at other parks. However, I did notice that lack of shady spots might make it tough if planning on taking an infant. My only complaint was the poor quality of the food services. Icee, slushee, ice cream were all out of service, and the kids had to settle for Dr. Pepper, with no lids or straws and only a little ice. I would suggest that you pack a cooler and take your breaks tailgating fashion, as re-entry to the park is pretty simple. Oh.. and the lazy river is pretty lame, even for a lazy river. The best ride, by far, was the wild river. Entry is "self-service" and you can go down with your family. The ride has 4 mini-slides with little pools between each one. Lots of fun with very little waiting. Me and the boys must have gone down that ride 20 times. We stayed about 5 hours and had a blast. Good value for the money. I hope you have as much fun as we did.

This place used to be a blast but over the last few years it has gone downhill in hygiene. We went twice last year only because we had free tickets and I thought it would be good to take the kids since they had never been. They have good rides however the cleanliness of the park really put me off. There was puddles of spilt slushy , a couple of diapers that had fallen out of an overflowing trash can , and trash littered throughout the park. The employees are young and paid little attention to actually doing their job and more attention to their phones and talking among each other. To tell the truth if this place had a remodel , added more rides, cleaned up and hired additional employees this place would be great. Its good if you go during the early part of the season when they just open and the park is clean with fresh water but if you wait later in the season just be warned that it will not be the cleanest. Tickets are over priced for the experience you get , unless they make some changes over the next few years this park will be closed for good.

We were passing thru on our way home to Oklahoma from Tennessee on Monday, June 20th. We arrived around 1 Oclock. Paid $192 to get in. We were having a blast with our family until we were told at 6 Oclock they were closed. We couldnt even get a refill with the souvenir cups we paid $10 each for. When we inquired about why they were closing early all we were told was "oh it is Monday"!! Wth??? Then we overheard a worker telling another worker they were closing early so the staff could so swimming. I am all for the staff swimming but we spent a ton of money to be there until closing which was suppose to be at 7 OClock. If they knew they were closing early they should have offered a discounted price and warned you about closing early so you could get your pricey cups refilled!! Would have been a GREAT time except for this. I believe in courtesy and will not be back because of this. We have a huge water park in TULSA (where we live) that we could have spent our hard earned money at!!!!

Ive been going to WRC since I was 9 and also worked there one summer when I was 16 and never had a problem with the park...at all...Im now 26 married and a mom. I have twin 1 year olds and thought the kiddie area would be perfect for them bc I remember the jumpers that babies could jump in and the big bridge kids could walk through ,which I know big kids decided they could walk on that and thats probably why its gone, BUT. I just remember it being so much fun for my little cousins and every other kid. I was VERY disappointed today. There was absolutely nothing for little kids to do except slide down the duck and stand under the cones...thats not a lot of fun. Also the pool was VERY dirty. We wont be coming back even though my mom has a pass. Just a disappointment for sure. Wish they would update the kiddie area or state that the park is for 3 year olds and up.
