We are Preferred customers and this came in handy a few times. For Fantastic Beasts and Star wars the theater was packed and we were able to easily bypass the lines at the ticket area and the concessions stand. I LOVE the fact that we get to pick our seating in advance as this helps when you have a handicapped person with you who can not climb any stairs and needs a seat in that specific row. I would hate to drive out there, pay for tickets, get our snacks only to find non handicapped people have taken up the entire handicapped row. I am picky about my popcorn and always ask to have them fill my bucket half way so I can go put butter on it, then have them fill it the rest of the way and the staff have always been very nice about accommodating me on this even when the place is packed and they are busy at the stand. The seats are VERY comfortable, even for a plus size person. Only 2 down points is the theater can be a bit chilly sometimes and the concessions are VERY expensive but most theaters have both those issues. However if you pay the very reasonable fee to be a preferred member, the cost of snacks and tickets can be offset by the amount of money that you earn back on the membership card. We have found that as movie lovers, this money back perk pays for the membership fee many times over. They also have a small bar should you want to relax with a drink while you wait for your movie to begin. So if you are going to spend your money on an expensive night out at the movies, this theater is definitely the place to spend your money.

My time at this theater was not well spent, I want my money back!!! It costed my family sixty dollars for bad food and bad service. My chair didnt work, and the staff is rude . I got a gift card from another time I had seen a movie here, the staff member gave me the gift card because my movie viewing was not enjoyable, my chair didnt work, and the second time I saw a movie they wouldnt except because I didnt get my tickets online. I dont live in Inver Grove and I hope the AMC by my neighborhood doesnt become like this awful place people go to "enjoy their time" but really youll never want to go back, take it from me, the old way of going to the movies were you can choose youre seats, and enjoy yourself doesnt apply here. This is my honest opinion.

Bad experience. They have a new line for PREMIUM customers, which was the only line waited on for 15 minutes. Then more Premium folks showed up, so more waiting. And, the staff was ridiculously slow. Took us 20 minutes to get popcorn. Thank goodness we were early or we would have missed our movie. I complained to the guy behind the counter and asked for the manager, which he smugly told me was him, so no help there. Another non-premium customer was getting upset too and almost started a brawl with one of the Premium people. Listen, I get the idea of premium service, but to completely ignore your regular customers is not the kind of business I want to support. Stay away and let the Premium folks have it!

This theater used to be great...not so much with new management. The ticket price increased along with the food items. They used to run discounted movies before 6pm, now you have to go to a movie before 2pm to get a reduced ticket price. I also dont like their refill policy. Old management allowed you to get refills on any drink or popcorn of any size. Now it has to be a large drink or popcorn and no icees. Even though the price increase on the difference between a small and large is marginal it is the fact that I dont want 2,000 calories worth of sugary pop in one sitting. I want a small pop and have to be forced to get up to intake extra calories. Not happy with the new management at all.

Personally, I dont like to review chains because you typically know what youre getting with them. However, every single experience Ive had here has been phenomenal. I dont know if its something in the water, but the staff here is just so ridiculously friendly. They actually seem like they enjoy their jobs and are always joking around and having fun with their coworkers and customers. And its not just like one or two familiar faces. Its everyone Ive ever encountered here. They also have the new premium upgraded seating at this location, which is just phenomenal. Its like sitting at home on your couch. I highly recommend this location and wish I hadnt moved to the other side of the cities.

The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is because when you lay back on the recliner seats there is a plexi glass that is obstructing your view. I dont really know why it is even there really. Marcus theatre does not have that glass..its a little annoying to have a line across the screen, so you can only recline back so far. wish they can take it out cause I dont see the point of it. Also the service is a little slow, you have to be fast because people will miss the movie. There is a lane for members only it seems but when you go up there the cashiers dont even ask if you are a member or not so non members are going up to that lane and getting service first. Prob needs more delgating.

If you go on a Friday/Saturday night, make sure to get there early! You would think buying your tickets online would get you in the door fast, but you have to wait in a 15-20 min line just to print your tickets off the kiosk to wait in another line for them to check your tickets before you can enter(the day I went 1 of the 4 kiosks was froze, so that may have caused a delay). By the time we got in, the movie was about to start but the food line was too long, so we didnt get any snacks. (Ill bring my own next time). $30 for 2 tickets on a weekend night is a rip off, and probably another $20-30 if I bought snacks. I recommend staying at home and watching a Netflix movie

Ive been going here way more than any other theater ever since they remodeled it in November/December of 2014 and let me tell you this theater is probably the best theater to go to if you want to go see a new movie that just came out and have the best movie experience. For one the seats are reclinable so they feel super comfortable which i love and when you buy tickets a head of time you can reserve seats so you can get the best seats in the theater and overall if you reserve a seat to a movie early and you go and you have a popcorn and a soda with you, you will have the best movie experience i can tell you that.

This theatre makes me crazy! Never enough staff, computers often are an issue. They dont seem to understand their Rewards program! Spend a lot of time signing up folks but then your not really treated as a preferred customer? Self serve areas are often in disarry. Sometimes there are plenty of folks at the Concessions and sometimes not. I do love the Leather seating. I also dont care if I can pick where I sit, that never seems to be an issue and just adds to the Ticket buying frustration. *Side note the National phone App for AMC is horrible! Tried to buy tickets on line, couldnt.....super annoying*
