I will NEVER go back to Narrows Plaza Bowl. Today, I went there with two of my friends. My friends and I went to bowl and were having fun. After 2 games of bowling we bought another hour. Well for our third game we wanted our bumpers up so we could have a little more fun. A friend of mine went to bathroom for a second and while they were gone, my other friend and I chatted. He took a sip of his drink and as he went to set his drink back down - mind you they use cheap styrofoam and cheap plastic for their cups - the lid came off and broke and the drink spilled to the people behind us. Rightfully so they were angry cause it got on their things. HOWEVER, all of us - even the friend who was absent, apologized. We even cleaned it up all on our own even though the lady told me when I came back with paper towels, "Those wont do s***. You have a huge mess to clean up." Ignoring that I apologized again. Still she wasnt pleased and got the manager. Now I can understand the manager being angry with us if we hadnt cleaned it up or said sorry. But no - we did that so he should have just comped their time and/or moved them to another lane and let it be. No instead he takes my friends drink away and puts it up on the counters away from us and doesnt even tell us drinks arent supposed to be down there (though there are cupholders) - he tells the people we upset in a faux whisper voice; you know the ones that are loud enough for the people to hear but without talking directly to them. After that, the worker who was real chill and got us towels to help us clean, he made take down our bumpers. Then after that, he kept passing by and looking at our lane and us for what we assume was any reason to kick us out. Mind you, everyone near us had drinks - including the people who we spilled the drinks on their stuff. From now on though, I will NEVER spend another dime on that place. Towers Lane - which is not far away - is more fun and relaxing and nice.

Narrows Plaza Bowl is our favorite place to bowl! My son, daughter and I started bowling at Narrows last year and in the time that we have been bowling there we have seen many changes in the operations of the business. The owners and staff at Narrows have really made a push to get more involved with the community and in turn get the community more involved in bowling. That being said Narrows is expanding their High school support and offering youth leagues this year. We participated in the kids choice league this summer that allowed all 3 of us to bowl on a mixed team together and will be bowling the fall kids choice as well. They recently expanded their café hours to service the early morning crowd. The food is tasty and there is a great selection of healthy salad choices among the normal burgers, fries and pizza that you would find at a typical bowling alley. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. There is a great Pro shop with a large selection of equipment for all skills and sizes. Fred the Pro is the best ball driller in town.

I totally recommend this venue. I chose this place because it was a good half-way spot for some of my friends from Tacoma and those from Kitsap to meet up. A group of us (8 adults/late 20s-early 30s) went on a Saturday in May 2011 and had a great time at the 11pm-1am Rock & Bowl session. The gentleman working the front desk was nice and more than helpful to our group, answering our questions and such. Costs were pretty reasonable and a bunch of us are meeting up there again this weekend.

Narrows Plaza Bowl & Entertainment Center is spacious and clean! Great food! Friendly staff and atmosphere! We love bowling here a couple times a week! If you have children I would recommend they join the kids bowling league at Narrows Plaza. Chris and Jimmy are excellent bowling coaches! One of their students just recently won 1st Place in a Doubles Junior Bowling Tournament thanks to the great youth coaches. Narrows Plaza Bowl & Entertainment Center is the best bowling alley in town!

Terrible place, $5 for a pair of socks. $15 per person. Its way too expensive, no wonder its going out of business. The workers there have a terrible attitude, terrible customer service. The look they give you, "I hate my life, and I have to put up with assholes like you" kind of attitude, the attendant at the food area doesnt even wear a hair net, if you could only see this guys huge fro. Do yourself a favor, go to tower lanes!

Lots of lanes available (40), so you dont have to make reservations, though if its busy you may have to wait a bit if you need assstance (e.g., stuck ball or jammed pins). They also do group events. Snack bar has lots of choices. Kids sometimes get distracted by the video arcade. Some local businesses such as Ivars and the teriyaki place near the local Fred Meyer offer discount cards good for a free game at Narrows Bowl.

This was the second bowling place for the night. It was nice that we didnt have to wait for a lane to be available because they had plenty, but $40 per hour and limits of 5 per lane was a little lame. Also, we had two frames left on our second game (3 people per lane) and once the time was up it didnt let us finish the two frames. This is the first time this has ever happened in any bowling alley.

Brought my kids here on a whim; they were looking for something fun to do and fairly cheap. My days off are during the week, so I was able to take them in for some 1.50 a game bowling. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the alley itself is clean and bright and kid friendly. Definitely a winner in my book

Great value for the money. We got a family special on a Sunday afternoon, it was only 12$ per hour with upto 5 bowlers, including shoes and 5 large pops. Most places would be 12$ just for shoes or pop, this included everything. The lane equipment/electronics were all working and newer than many of the other area bowling places.

Old school traditional bowling alley with a lot of charm. Recommended especially because if you go toward the end of the night you can bowl for about the last three hours at a very reasonable flat rate so if youre looking to bowl a bunch of games and serious about your bowling you are looking at a great deal here.

Employees are friendly, however they always seem to be short of staff. Often see a cpl employees running their butt off while others stand around not doing anything. Slightly out of date surroundings, but does the job of entertaining family for a reasonable price :)
