On Friday October 3rd my family treated my wife to dinner and a movie for her birthday. We bought our tickets for Anabelle earlier that day and got to the movie 45 minutes early. Loaded with popcorn, sodas ,candy and hot dogs we sat in the theater waiting for the movie to begin. As the previews were ending and the movie was about to begin people had filled the isles to find a seat in the sold out theater. At this time a man approached my wife from behind in the isle with his hand on her shoulder and face so close that when she turned they were face to face. Keep in mind its dark, she was on the isle seat and we are here to watch a scary movie. She was on the isle seat with a empty seat between her and I since she was saving seat for my son who was in the bathroom. At this point my wife gets up and starts down the stairs, at this point the man points to a water bottle two chairs to my left and one to my daughter and it appears he was asking for it. Since it wasnt ours I reached over my daughter to get it and handed it to him. Keep in mind its dark the movie is starting and he never identified himself as an employee. He than tells me to go throw it away and I replied its not ours and he said again go throw it away and I replied again its not ours. He than tells me I can do it the easy way or the hard way. He had the whole theaters attention and was harassing my family. He than grabs his wallky talky from behind his back and calls for back up. At this point my wife returns and said lets take this downstairs since all eyes are now on us. As we got downstairs two police officers were coming in and I told them that I thought they were called because of us and we stepped out of our movie. Now the employee that started all of this walked right be us with the police and didnt say anything. After speaking with the officers for a short time it was clear we had done no wrong and were told we could go back and enjoy our movie. We had already missed the beginning so I asked to speak with a manager. A young man came to us in the hallway without much regard for what just happened and for the most tried to dismiss us. I explained we were publicly humiliated in a sold out theater and I want an apology from the employee. He said NO, not going to happened. Terrible Customer Service

This use to be my favorite theater, but AMC now owns it, and my first experience with it under AMC was not good. I decided to see the first showing of Star Wars The Force Awakens at 7:00. When it was time for the movie to start, they started playing some video showing Selfies posted on AMCs twitter feed or some other AMC site. This went on for over 5 minutes, when it Finally ended, the new Star Wars movie started 6 or 7 minutes into the movie. No Opening Title or Crawl, it just started with a character in mid sentence. I left the theater to tell some one, and there were a few other people complaining to. Since the movie had just started, we were told they would re-start it from the beginning, they can do this since it is all digital now, and have seen it done before when a movie started with no sound. I went back to the theater and waited, but instead of re-starting from the beginning, they just let it play. After waiting for 10 minutes I left and talk to a manger wanting my money back so I could go see it at the only other theater in town. They said they could only give me a voucher, which I said was unacceptable. There were other people complaining about the same issue also. So I went to the other theater and ended up paying twice to see this movie. They screwed up big time by starting the movie about 5 minutes into it, and when they were made aware of the problem they did not attempt to fix it, and this was the opening night of Star Wars. If this is how AMC is going to run things, I am not going back, I never had issues like this when it was owned by Starplex Cinemas. Also I never understood what the heck the pictures were about that seem to cut into the beginning of the movie.

My husband up and decided he wanted to go see a movie today, so we went to the theater today. We havent been since Galaxy 16 changed to AMC. I was incredibly disappointed in the way management has changed the lines into one similar to an amusement park where theres a sort of VIP lane that nobody used. Thats stupid. Then we were going to do the entire theater experience because we hadnt been to see a movie in a long time, and we found the same type line system for concessions--a rather long line, and nobody in the VIP line. We waited a few minutes for popcorn and the line never moved. If we had to stay in the line to get popcorn and drinks, we wouldnt have gotten a seat in the crowded theater. I dont understand why there are concession points not being used. We both left the movie once to check on the concession line and it never went down. There went our lunch, because that is what we planned to do for lunch. To top it off, the seats were not nearly as comfortable as they used to be and I kept having to shift around because my back hurt through the entire film. I was definitely not happy with the experience and will not return. The only plus is that I didnt waste money on concessions. Something tells me I would not have liked the changes there, either. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

The seats are comfortable. I have a child in a wheelchair and as you have wheelchair accessibility in your theatres they are on the very front row. This made me very uncomfortable as a child and an absolute NO WAY as an adult. Its bad enough all the other obstacles my child as to deal with, then we try to have some entertainment and its not enjoyable on the front row. All your theatres should have seating up top with access from an elevator. The only time we can access those theatres is if its a new release and usually its adult movies that get those theatres. Also, I would suggest you get an adult who is in a wheelchair to set the railing and seating appropriatly instead of from the eyes of someone standing. Also, the space for a wheelchair is ok, its upsetting that he has to once again be different and seated away from family and friends. There should be a space for wheelchair the at least 1-2 seats and space for wheelchair the 1-2 seats and so on. Its totally wheelchair UNFRIENDLY. The last thing is it is extremely annoying to call and find out if the movie I want to take my son to is accessible with top seating and all I can do is listen to a very long recording and absolutely no way to reach a HUMAN BEING.....What happened to the personal touch?
