I have to start off with this, I normally do not go out of my way to write a post about anything. From time to time I will go above and beyond to make it known when I receive exceptional customer service, or when something was so great where I felt everyone should know. When I do have a bad customer service experience whomever Im with may hear about it, but thats about it. But this time I cant go any longer without making my experiences public, not trying to bash anyone by any means. But when I feel regular hardworking people that simply want to take their family and friends out for a good time are being taken advantage of on a consistent basis, I have to spread the word. Im a league bowler, and I have been bowling at Brunswicks across the western suburbs for years. For almost 2 years now like I felt Brunswick was going downhill, but heading towards the change from Brunswick to bowlero has been an absolute nightmare!! Here are my reasons: * prices have gone up to almost $6 per game, a glass of Coke will run you almost $5. * The food is horrible, and looks nothing like the menu. The chef gets angry when you complain, and will stand there and argue with you back and forth and does nothing about your food. *No longer accepts cash, only credit cards, or you can purchase a gift card. No exceptions! Everything is ordered through a lane kiosk, very short staffed, most of the employees (not the managers of course ) are not happy, tired of getting yelled at by the customers, overworked, underpaid and simply hate coming to work! *Long wait times for bar service, food, and bowling. No one answers the phone to give out information. *The managers have absolutely no clue as to what they are doing and all! They lack customer service/people training, basically skills all together which is a reflection on their staff! Now they do have a few staff that I have grown to love because of their consistent hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction, which is primarily the reason why some of us still come back. *Finally, "Bowlero" has obviously made it known, that he is only interested in money! Who else would allow a family fun franchise to turn into a club atmosphere, that treats the league bowlers like strangers, and is simply trying to kick us out to make more room for people that will pay these absurd high prices! If you want to have a great time out.... DONT GO THERE!

Heres the thing.. Some of you are going to read my review and visit this bowling alley anyway. I can say with certainty that you will regret not listening to what I have to say about the poor experience this bowling alley provides. Let me start by saying this is all clearly a management problem. The servers and cashiers deliver a terrible experience, but the managements lack of employee training, validation, and follow up is apparent. The servers are not attentive to the lanes whatsoever and depending on the night its a lack of motivation or staffing. Drinks will go empty and refills will be slow if provided at all. Food will arrive cold and in one case undercooked. The bartender is sweet, but it does not compensate for her lack of skill or experience. My last straw with this Brunswick Zone was observing the manager standing in the corner of the bar watching the bartender struggle and not offering the slightest amount of help. Lanes will be open, but the cashiers move without purpose and waiting lists will form. Theyre lack of empathy is a concern; but yet again this falls on the managements team lack of engagement. Overall this establishment is poorly run. I can say with confidence Ill never step foot in here again unless the current leadership team is replaced. Ill end this with a friendly, "I told you so."

From what Ive seen so far, the place seems to be well maintained with the exception of one thing. During one of my visits, the arcade card machines were Broken except for only one, which had a long line and kept getting fixed. The bowling experience is about what youd expect for just a casual player, I cant say anything for more professional players. I didnt order food but what I seen is that its pretty expensive as are the other things here. The arcade is crazy expensive for the little game time you get. I believe it was $1 for 2 credits and most games are 2 credits. Some of the games are just bigger versions of their mobile game counterpart. And games such as Pacman where you should get multiple lives, you only get one. I would rate this place higher if it wasnt for the expensive price of playing the arcade. When you come on a weekend the queue can be an hour, so the only way to spend time is in the arcade. Overall it was an ok experience, if you got money to spend, then this place should be fine for you.

Believe it or not, this bowling alley costs $5 to get in if youre under 21 at night..that is ridiculous. Just to get in to the bowling alley you have to pay. Then they give you this bullshit 1 game free coupon.. which wasnt really free cus you had to pay $5 to get in the damn place. To make things even more aggravating theres romeoville suburban-loser police at the door who likes to treat anyone whos a teenager like theyre automatically a delinquent, which is not a good thing because its a freakin bowling alley = teenagers galore. Theres never open lanes, and the arcade is boring. if you live in this area go to the naperville one, it would be cheaper in the end, cus you dont have to pay to walk in, and if you have kids the arcade is a lot bigger and has better games. romeoville brunswick xl is the worst brunswick ive ever been to.

Correct location is: 735 North Center Blvd, Romeoville, IL 60446. I love this place, except that one waiter we cant get away from... I believe his name is Thompson. We got there and the table was filled with food. Apparently the food had been there before the people that were playing at the same booth as us. So, that means it was probably been there for at least 1 hour. We informed the service desk to have someone clean it up but of course, the school kids could careless. The waiter who served the area passed by a couple of times but he didnt do anything. We wanted food and had ask for a waiter to come by going to the counter and twice we asked from another waitress and our waiter still failed to stop by. We ended up getting the food from the self service area. We were just unlucky to get the same waiter this time..

If I could I would give it no stars. The cashiers did NOT explain the bundles or anything and when the manager came in to see what was up she rolled her eyes at him and gave him the "they are crazy". Then we were promised drinks but they never came. When I went to the bar to check on the drinks they never got an order. Then this one lady I believe her name was Kiara or something she made us take the pitcher OURSELVES unlike the other times were they have dropped it on our lane. One lane did not have bumpers and my little sister wanted them and they did NOTHING when I told them of the problem and were rude about it. Never coming back this place sucks and they dont know how to control their costumes because we were sharing a table with a person and their stuff was every where on the table and I hate it!!!!!
