0 STARS!!!! Absolute waste of my time and money. I ordered tickets online and then a day before the show needed to cancel and get a refund. Everywhere in the confirmation email and online tells you to do it online. That magical button to let you do that apparently doesnt exist for me because I could never find the option. I try calling the theater and after spending 15 minutes in a horrible messaging system telling me to press this to go forward and that to go backward and this to repeat there is no option to actually speak to a human being. So I try calling cinemark customer service. After sitting thru another round of messages and instructions I get told they are closed, goodbye. So I send an email. I left my phone number in the email for the purpose of recieving a call or voicemail even. I leave work to make it to the theater in time to get my refund before the window passes and they then tell me the tickets were already refunded. Once I was finally able to get my email to load, I have issues on my phone doing that, I see the email. A manger was called over when I initially questioned that they were refunded as I had no knowledge of it at that time. She didnt seem to care even enough to personally apologize for any confusion or at least tell me to have a good day. I was basically brushed off. I live 25 minutes from this theater and as a result of your ridiculous systems and poor service wasted an hour of my time and the gas driving there. I will not be visiting a cinemark again.

Tinseltown is the only indoor theater left in Kenosha. The staff is generally friendly, the auditoriums kept relatively clean, and screen sizes that are above average when compared to the second and third tier auditoriums at Marcus theaters. Ticket and concession prices are typical of most theaters with the best deal to be had on Tuesday when all non-3D showings are $5. This was a very nice facility back when it first opened, but is showing its age and lack of attention from Cinemark as few, if any, updates have been made in 10+ years. The most glaring issue is the seats. All but a few have worn out torsion springs which means when you sit down, you will be fully reclined. Those with back or neck issues should be aware that you may walk out with a stiff neck or back from sitting at a poor angle for a long time. This MIGHT be okay at a second-run theater with reduced ticket prices, but its not acceptable for a first-run theater. If you want a generally better experience, drive north 15 minutes to Marcus in Sturtevant or 20 minutes south to Marcus in Gurnee, both have $5 Tuesday prices even in their giant Ultra-screens.

Ive taken my family to this theater maybe half a dozen times. Every time we say it will be the last. Finally, a few nights ago, we went for the LAST TIME. Between staff, inept management, and the high prices (even for a movie theater), we HATE it there. The rotund female manager was rude, condescending, and was particularly rude to my son when he went to get a refill and didnt have his ticket stub because I had it. He was so scared by her, he cried and told me he thought she was going to call the police on him. I demanded she apologize and she walked away!

I have always enjoyed going to TINSELTOWN. Recently, I had my first bad experience there. There was confusion in seating in the beautiful new recliners. BUT, when I contacted management about it, they were terrific. The manager, Eric, got back to me promptly, took action to resolve the problem in the future and really cared. I got a hand written thank you note and movie passes. Eric is great example of customer service. It is also a good example for my grandsons of how constructive criticism, given in a calm way, can have good results.

Nice place. Just got new seats and good showtimes... Just dont go on Tuesday. What can I say, if you build it... they will come. Look the place is solid. Good location and very convenient... but the people that go there are just... yeah. Im definitely not saying everyone but Ive come across rude people. Rude, talkative, phone using and just general trash that I dont see your name one the seat type people. Sorry, just what Ive experienced. I just go to the late LATE shows waaaay after the opening weekend.

They do not give away posters or prizes for double features or "events." Went to see Age of Ultron Double Feature and was told they WILL be giving away a prize (movie poster). They lied... Called twice to confirm and we were told, "yes, we give away posters for Marvel Events." Never again will they get a dime out of me. Will drive out of town to see Jurassic World today.

New seating is great! No one was at ticket booth but no one at concessions could help me. I was back and forth until someone finally opened the ticket booth. 1med coke, 1 med icee and 1 small popcorn $15.00+ ?? This Rediciolus!!!! Otherwise a pleasant experience. We dont get to go to the movies as often as we like due to the high concession prices.

Desperately needs renovation from malodorous theatre itself to dilapidated parking lot. Regularly go to Sturtevant or Gurnee theatres before Kenosha- it is worth the drive for a well lit, clean and comfortable experience. Managed and operated by teenagers. Same interior carpet, flooring, seats and décor from the day it opened. Quite the eyesore.

It was an amazing experience. I enjoyed all that this theater had to offer. As an engineer, I can appriciate the look and feel that this theater has on a construction level. This theater is as entertaining in your seat as it is on the inside with its clean-retro look. The seats were quite comfortable. I will be coming back here.

The staff is very professional and is extremely helpful. The facility itself is very clean and modernized to meet everybodys needs and qualifications. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of my movie and my overall experience. If youre looking for an amazing theater to see your next move at, I highly suggest this one.

This theater is amazing! I never liked popcorn till I started coming here! My friends are guilty for just coming in for buying popcorn. The staff is friendly and the management is always going above and beyond! I also heard their remodeling new recliner seats this spring! Ill be watching more movies!

The carpet and lighting while watching a movie (Alien Covenant) made the bottom two corners bleed a red light. It was extremely distracting to a dark and suspenseful movie. I attached a picture of took during the credits. Hopefully this will be fixed and Ill be able to change my rating.

Walking distance. Nice theater and nice people. Only problem, when I was waiting for a movie to come out, I noticed it wasnt playing at this theater at all and the closest theater the movie was playing at was like 25 minutes away. Besides that, overall I would recommend this theater.

Only movie theatre in Kenosha. Company charges you a fee for online movie ticket sales. This is ridiculous. Other movie theatres waive the fee if you have a rewards card, Tinseltown doesnt. Otherwise theatre is ok. I prefer Marcus theaters more, but they are a bit far.
