Last night I was there to see IT. Always had a good experience at peoples plaza until last night. First this couple gets kicked out of seats in the row in front of me and then they come sit next to me all while the movie is starting so everyone was distracted by what was happening. I didnt have a problem having them Come sit next to me yet.. not even 10 minutes into the movie this couple next to me and I meant directly next to me start making out and doing other "stuff" and opening a flask every 5 minutes. I ignored it as long as I could but the constant sound of the kissing and the other sounds I could hear I had enough and went and talked to a manager. I told him my situation and where I was sitting and he said he would come In there. 10 minutes later they send someone in and all they do is stand at he bottom against the wall. Like that is going to fix any problem. So they leave and the issues Im having still continue. I had to leave my movie several times because I could just not sit next to that going on. The last two times I walked out during the movie there was not even an employee in site in the snack bar area or the front to even tell anyone. I thought the manager or someone from the movie theater could have taken care of the problem but that apparently was not the case. Not a fan of peoples plaza.

This is a great movie theater and offers all the most recent movies! Youre very comfortable when watching your movie, the seats are awesome! The recline back just a little bit and the cushions are soft! They offer a seat that fits 2 people of you and youre significant other would like to sit together and not have a cup holder bar separating the two of you. The theaters are big and hold alot of seating. They offer enough viewing times of each movie that way you can see it during any time. The only thing that I didnt about this theater is the pricing. I think they could lower prices of everything in there theater. The ticket prices are very expensive and when I do go there I never go to the snack bar because the prices are just so high. To get a small drink and a small popcorn costs about $10 for just one person. So if theres 2 people, you will be looking to spend probably about $40 for 2 movie tickets, a small popcorn (and thats if you 2 share) and 2 drinks. So needless to say, I really dont go that much and I actually have a movie app on my phone that I can watch all the new movies that are still in theaters for free.

My husband and I go to this theater on a regular basis. There is a Cinamark theater closer to us, but we really like the stadium seating and the way they try to accommodate the handicapped in the theaters here. But dont plan to buy goodies at the concession counter - its grossly overpriced (I sometimes spring for a decaf coffee for $2.50 - its good, but not worth the price unless Im really desperate!). It also takes FOREVER to get to the front of the concession stand line and actually get waited on!! I also appreciate that we very rarely run into any disruptive situations here, such as noisy people during the movie, or young folks just being goofy. Id recommend this theater to anyone, and have taken out of town guests there.

I wouldnt give a star if I didnt have to. The theatre is fairly comfortable, however, the tickets are outrageously expensive. If you dont have a high paying job forget about bringing your family here for a movie, itll cost $100. The concession stand is so overpriced it makes me sick. I spent over $12 on a small bottle of water and nine pieces of what they call "pretzel bites" which werent even pretzels. They were balls of whole wheat dough (or something disgusting) Its unbelievable how the owner of this venue (who also owns other movie theatres) could even rip people off like this. Hes a freaking millionaire.

For one, every time I go to see a movie the theater is packed way before the show time. So if you want to get some good seats make sure youre ready to go in the theater about 20-25 minutes before the time. Then, the place over all is kinda dirty to me. The floors are sticky and the main bathroom is HORRIBLE, its dirty. Other than that, the employees are nice. I never buy their food so I couldnt tell you how the concession stand experience is. Theyve raised their prices. Overall I like the seating but Im starting to like movies 10 better.

Love the new recliners. Always clean & employees courteous & professional. Now at certain showings you must pick your seat when you purchase tickets so people cant save seats for others arriving & purchasing their tickets later. At busy times there is always police on site to keep everything safe since sometimes teens congregate in the game room area & out front. I bought the refillable drink & popcorn. I didnt want to leave the movie to get refill, so I wish they had the snack bar still open to get a drink refill before I leave.

Ive only visited this theater once per year in the summer (I come to Newark for business in late July). Today was probably the worst Ive seen it: staff was very, very disinterested and the cost has skyrocketed beyond anything I can remember - it was over $9 for a matinee. The young girl tearing the tickets was more interested in flirting with the guy working with her than helping me; as I approached she rolled her eyes and sighed as she stood up from leaning on the railing behind her. I do not think I will ever go back.

Definitely has the largest arcade I’ve seen here in Northern Delaware. I was very satisfied with the food. The seats of course were great. I would of given this theater 5 stars but throughout the entire movie there was a Child next to me sitting on their phone watching videos. When I let a staff member know about my issue they told me they’d check in a bit. A few minutes later he came in looked up and then walked out. I ended up sitting through the rest of the movie listening to this kids video and him scream.

Movie theaters have certainly evolved and this one has moved right along with them . Their fees are high, but certainly comparable to other theaters. I bought my tickets through fandango and the process was seamless, just a quick scan of my phone got us through the ticket taker. We saw a 3D film and had the option to reserve seats, which we did. Our 3D glasses were clean. the recliner seats were awesome.... and the raised foot rest made it an especially comfortable experience. Staff friendly.

The selection of films here is always decent. They host Phantom Events here, so you can catch some interesting stuff besides the normal run of the mill releases. Seats and food are decent enough. The pricing on the food and tickets is a bit steep for what you are getting. The biggest problem though is the other patrons. Lots of rowdy teenagers and a fair number of talkers. We tend to go out of our way to other theaters when we know there will be a large audience for a viewing.
