I will start by saying the course itself was fantastic. The staff was the complete opposite. Our foursome teed off at 8:30 and played the front in 2 hours and 15 minutes, right on pace. We got to the 12th when a ranger approached the other cart and told them to play faster. A gentleman in our group told him we were right on pace and were not going to rush. 2 holes later, he approaches my cart and tells us to speed up. I inform him again with specific times and simple addition/subtraction that we are right on pace and we did not pay $50 to sprint through 18 holes just because the twosome in front of us pulled away during 12 holes (duh). Another younger guy comes over on the next hole and starts reprimanding us like children for talking back to his ranger. This guy even looked at his watch and AGREED we were on pace to finish in the suggested 4.5 hours!!! Then he continued to reprimand us for how we told the ranger we were on pace. (After he agreed the ranger had no right to tell us to speed up?!?!). Then he boasted about how they book 40,000 rounds a year and have groups sun up to sun down. I still dont know what that was all about but it was honestly the most flabbergasting experience I have ever had on a golf course. I was speechless. I wouldnt go back if they paid me $50 to play there. If you dont mind the possibility of being harassed Id recommend the course. All in all, we finished in 4 hours and 38 minutes. Mind you we were stopped 3 different times for 3-10 minutes. Absolute joke of a staff, simply clueless.

Ive been playing this course on and off for over 10 years. I will never be back, and I only live minutes away. Ever since they built the event center, something has changed with the way the course operates and who it hires. Personal example below. Worst on course staff I have ever had interactions with in my life! Incredibly rude starter and marshals. We were first told there was a 45 minute wait, when only 3 groups were on the teebox. Really was a 15 minute wait. Then got told by a marshal to hurry up and hit on another tee box after waiting for him drive 1 mph towards us when there was a group in the fairway! No water for players on course except foul tasting, warm water fountains. No driving range. Packed with leagues. Course should go private if they dont want people to walk on and play, all the while giving people attitude for paying to play their public course. Not worth the money when they charge for what much better courses in the area do with more accommodations an accommodating staff.

This course is very very nice. Its beautifully maintained and landscaped. Green fee/cart runs around $50. Blue Ash wont be the easiest course youve ever played. The fairways are narrow on many holes and there are a lot of trees. Its easy to get in serious trouble if your approach shots arent deadly accurate. Many greens are elevated, and approaches hilly so even if you hit a good drive and or approach shot, you might find yourself with a precariously uphill or downhill lie. We stopped in on a crowded Saturday as walkons and didnt have any trouble getting a tee time. The staff was very friendly. However, the course is popular, so tee times are recommended, or prepare yourself for relatively slow play.

One of the top muni courses in the city. The City of Blue Ash should be commended for the way the maintain this course even during difficult weather periods. Course is fairly tight with trees and o.b., but isnt too difficult for the average golfer. May want to avoid this course if you spray your shots all over the place as you will have a long day. Pace of play can be slow on weekday evenings. Overall, a must play for public golf in Cincy.

Lived in Cincinnati for a long time and have always heard about this course. Finally had a chance to play. Wow! It was everything and more that people told me. Beautiful fairways and tee boxes, and the greens are just slightly faster than most courses around here, but namely, they are consistent from green to green. A must play if you live in Cincy.

Nice golf course in a good location. Not very long, but still challenging; generally in very good condition. The staff is very kind and helpful, ranger usually present on busy days to help with pace of play.

It is a very good course that is well maintained. It is hilly with very few holes that allow you to run up on to the green. It is a bit pricey - $46 with cart on Friday for a senior.

Pure course. While there are homes/condos close, they dont interfere with the golf experience. This is a spectacular layout. Hard but fair.

Hard to beat this public course. 18 holes of challenging golf on a well-maintained course. $46 for 18+cart is more than reasonable.
