Hotel staff were extremely polite and professional. The cost of the room was very reasonable, especially considering the quality and available amenities. There was an exercise room, guest laundry and vending area all within a short distance of my room. The hotel lounge and bar were outstanding. The bar seems like a quiet place for adults to socialize, and there was a surprising number of people there on a Monday night. I could not speak to the availability of adult beverages, as I did not attend the bar, but it looked like an extensive selection. My room itself was very clean and cozy. It was a suite of a sort, with a partial wall separating the office desk and TV room from the bedroom; however the bed seemed almost too large for the space. Thats a petty criticism, and likely the only one that I have. If I were to make a recommendation to the hotel, I would advise them to update the carpet. My recommendation to anyone thinking about booking a room, go for it. You wont regret staying here. I really like the location, as it is at the end of a frontage road, so getting in and out was a breeze. Definitely my new place when staying in the area.

This is NOT a nice hotel. Room is dark and cave like. The walls and desk are dirty and no one has made an attempt to clean the crayon marks off either. There was 1 Kleenex in the box and now none. The were 3 towels for 4 people. Floors dont seem clean. Housekeeping just came at 4 pm! Says the entire hotel is out of Kleenex. Advised she would have to report that each trashcan only had one container in them and they were sus posed to have 2. I advised we just checked in last night and this was the way the trashcans were and when you pick the one insert up the can is bottomless so all trash drops to floor. She gave us some towels and that wad ALL tbe housekeeping performed. Makes me wonder if we just stepped into other peoples dirt. I cant believe this is a hilton property and Im prepaid for it or Id leave this minute. Instead Im here 2 more days while I bury my mother having to return to this cave daily. A motel 6 is better. Shame on Hilton . I will never be back here or a double tree. I guess this card on the desk with crayon marks saying, let us know if you arent satisfied and we will make it right is a sham.

Nope. Do not stay here. Our first problem was that they were unable to give us a pillow that wasnt down. One of our party is allergic to down so we requested just a single foam pillow but they didnt have any in the hotel. We had to go get one ourselves so that they had something to sleep on. Honestly, that would t have been a big deal but they acted like checking was a huge problem for them. Our second issue was that the room had bugs. We found ants and other small fruit flies in our room. The ants were the grossest problem - they were all over the bathroom. I dont recommend this hotel - despite it seeming relatively new, it doesnt feel clean or well kept.

I stayed for one night the room was clean the television didnt show a good picture. I was not greated as a hiltons honors team member at all. I didnt complain until i recieved a bill that charged me with a smoking fee when i did not smoke!! when i called to dispute the transaction the guest services agent was very rude and not helpful. He threatned to call police if i came on the property to speak with a manager which was uncalled for especially when i am an employee of hilton myself!!!! I am very dissapointed in doubletree and will be emailing the gm!!!

I was extremely pleased with the hotels features and amenities. The representatives at the front desk were courteous and pleasant at check-in/check-out. The process was fast, and I even received the delicious, warm cookie that I was promised. The room was clean and modern, and I was quite surprised at the quality of the complimentary toiletry items in the room. Im SOLD on the Hilton brand. Ive already planned my next vacation stay at the Hilton in Nassau, Bahamas. I hope the service there meets or exceeds my expectations!

Its my 1st time here. The hotel attendants so far have been very helpful, friendly, polite, great, etc. The location is ok, decent area. Breakfast is good. The rooms on the other hand, definitely need an upgrade. Mattress its not comfortable n has shot coils badly, furniture is very old,a/c filter its clogged up so makes room stuffy. Elevator is hot and smells badly, so mostly maintenance n cosmetic issues . However , overall a good, nice hotel.

Well hard to find the street at night, but once you find it, you will find a new, clean and sharp hotel. The room we had was more like embassy suites with a sofa and TV in one room and the bed in the other. Have a full service bar and kitchen. Rate was very reasonable. Neighborhood was weird, high end Ruth Chris Steakhouse next door, but then a real bad Chilis or an IHOP. Only downside was water pressure was lower than I like.

I was impressed with this hotel. When we stayed there it was only 3 weeks old which is always a plus. It is furnished very nice, rooms have up to date provisions for your laptop use (high speed internet that works, HDMI input, RCA a/v input and 5 volt power connection). I thought the price was very reasonable, with my AAA discount it came to 99$ including tax. Again, very clean and safe feeling.

Stayed here for a couple nights while helping with the flood cleanup. The room was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable, it really helped us rest appropriately for the hard work during the days. The staff was great (they even gave me an extra cookie when I asked), and the pool/hot tub were nice to have for added relaxation in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable room with a pillow-top bed and separate sitting area -- like a suite, but for the price of a regular room! Newly renovated, and lovely inside. A much, much nicer experience than I was expecting, given the reasonable price. Nice lounge area in the lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows. Hotel bar was overpriced, but honestly - thats the only bad thing about this place.

The hotel facilities are nice, but they have a personnel issue. Very inconsistent experience. The room cleaning service failed to keep shampoo or new coffee cups stocked in my room (even after bringing it up to a manager). Some staff members wont acknowledge your presence or seem annoyed to be there, while others are very cordial. Very nice hotel, but needs a staff eval.

I really enjoyed the contemporary decor in the room. Very clean looking and stylish. The bed was very comfortable too. The only complaint was the breakfast. The food was very salty and some of them at the buffet was stale; however, I could have chose not to eat there since the breakfast was separate from the hotel price. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay there :)

Excellent customer service. I will say that I have stayed here on several occasions, as I frequently travel to Baton Rouge for work, and there always seems to be random hair around my room. I have found it in the bed, on the floors or counter tops. Other than that, the rooms are very spacious and have updated features. I keep coming back for the warm cookies!
