Where do I begin? I recently went to see King Arthur at this location. It was a horrible experience. The price was great, but the place was disgusting. The young girl taking tickets was busy texting on her phone and leaning on the counter. The carpet was worn, terribly stained and unspeakably dirty. There were people sitting on the floor in the hallway before you walk into the theater. I walked in the theater and the seats were nasty and stained. The place smelled so bad that I could not enjoy my movie or relax. I held my shirt over my nose the entire time. It smelled like filth and turned my stomach. I felt the need to bathe immediately once I made it home. The experience was so unreal that I had to take pictures of it with my cell. I wouldnt recommend this theater to anyone. The low price is not worth the horrid experience. Hopefully someone in their corporate office will see these terrible reviews and make some much needed changes. I absolutely hate writing terrible reviews, but this was one WELL DESERVED.

Seats are horrible. They are so slippery that I had to hold myself up by the arm rests the wholetime so I wouldnt slide off and fall on the floor. Felt like i was sitting in a seat made entirely out of butter. My daughter weighs 35 pounds and its like the seat wouldnt recognize her body weight so it kept on trying to close on her like a pearl in a sea shell. My wife had to hold open the chair during the whole movie so the chair wouldnt close on her! They really need new seating. Not to mention all the ratchet people that go there. These two couples stood up in the middle of the movie and were about to fight eachother because one of them told the other to stop talking during the movie. Very ghetto. Would not go back.

My friend and i went to the movies on June 5, 2015 to see a movie which was suppose to start at 10:35 P.m. it didnt actually physically start until 11:00 P.m. and the reason it didnt start until 11:00 P.m. is because the projector wasnt working properly. Before we entered our specific theater we went to give our tickets to the person that was suppose to tell us which theater to go to was not there and only the police officer told us where to go. As we were leaving we went to use the restroom and while we were washing hands a very rude janitor a hispanic lady said, can you please leave? Gracias" as we were standing outside for our ride they turned every single little light possible outside off.WORST EXPIRENCE EVER!

The concept of these types of movie theater is a great one. I love spending less money on a movie that just left the high price theater. I dont like how nasty the theaters are. AMC needs to spend a little money on cleaning it up and getting rid of years of coated germs. I always end up sick after I go see a movie there. I started bringing my own blanket to put down on the seats for me and my daughter. Think about cleaning it up and you would attract more customers with a cleaner environment. The movie theater is very dirty and the seats are nasty. Also hire people that enforce the rules and regulations you r customers dictate your employees attitude "I dont care". The one star is because of the filth.

I went to see a movie on Sunday. The ticket prices were great but I guess you get what you pay for!!!! The staff were rude. This place was filthy, popcorn everywhere( broom & dustpan laid in the middle of hall floor) , I had to check my seats before I sat down. Im happy I did because nacho cheese was in the seat. The theater smelled horrible. I saw gnats and mosquitoes flying during the movie (my wife and I left with visible bite marks) and itched during the movie. They seriously need to hire a cleaning crew. The ticket guy even tried flirting with my wife. He lucky the cop was standing next to him. I would never go back!!! Bad experience all the way around!!!!

I went to this place on monday, our movie cut off at a very climactic part, no refund was offered and when I went to ask for one, I never got to speak with a manager. I was sent 2 people, the first one said they were going to get the manager for me to talk to, after 10 mins of waiting I had to get another employees attention who went back saying she would get the manager, however I was made to talk to someone who proceeded to tell me they couldnt give me a refund because "weve already counted our money." I felt like they were simply waiting for me to leave, and when I didnt I was lied to straight to my face so that the manager didnt have to lift a finger.

I gave it 4 stars purely because our family of 8 LOVES 50 cent Tuesdays. Literally, all day Tuesdays the movies are $0.53 after tax. If price is as important for you as it is for our family... this is the place for you. However, you will have to deal with a very old theater, maintenance issues, possibly some musky smells in a couple of the rooms, and the place seriously needs to be cleaned better. BUT...you get what you pay for... and we are okay with poorer surroundings while paying $4.24 for all 8 of us to go see a movie that just left the main theaters. Oh, and a large popcorn (with free refill) is plenty of snack for our whole family too!!!

We go here often for a cheap date night. This location used to be excellent - they took good care of the facilities and seemed to really care about guest satisfaction. Then rumors of them trying to sell the property started circulating and the upkeep of the property started declining. Now it is terrible. Seats that were new are now broken, there have been graffiti on screens that was left. No one ever comes in anymore checking for problems during the shows, and at times we have had to walk out after watching screens where there was obviously a problem with the projector. Disappointing this property has been allowed to decline as it has.

We used to come here because we have a large family and the price fit our budget. Now the prices on everything went up a bar was added and games were taken down. The actual theatre itself is still the unclean sticky floor ,torn up carpets, popcorn laying around. All that before any movie has even played for the day. It plays older movies , nothing new. I feel like if they are raising the price for everything they should at least be playing new movies or updating the screening rooms. Perhaps even have a professional cleaning team come in. Anyway thats my thoughts. Everyone has an opinion right.

Dont usually judge or comment on my experience with a place of business, however, todays visit to and experience with AMC theater on Highway 80 in Mesquite has got to be the absolute WORST. Very disappointed with the level of housekeeping in all areas of the theater and unavailable staff members. Someone is going to get sick by the foul odors and dirty floors, restrooms, seats, and even the walls look greasy. Simply put, this place is disgusting to say the least. Get it together AMC! This is a lawsuit waiting to happen, or worse shut down by the state.
