Having played over 16 rounds within the past calendar year during every single month I feel confident about giving a review. First and foremost yes Mr. Arnold Palmer did play @ Paschal during his college years @ Wake Forest University until 1950. Paschal is an excellent course for beginners to learn the game at a laid back non pressuring environment. Low handicaps I wouldnt recommend Paschal because most low handicaps try to establish a certain flow & ebb to their routine ;however, I can see that easily disturbed with said beginner taking a whiff followed by topping the ball just past the forward tees. With warmer temps I see more ladies, couples & families enjoying the course. Though generous open fairways wait you expect deadpan lies and undefined boundaries between fairway, rough, green & fringe. If you’re looking to practice there is a homemade adequate area to suit your needs. 7 of 9 greens are flat whereas #’s 3 & 5 have some undulations (* note if on 3 & 5 pin placements are in the back hole high) you must keep your ball below the hole or risk at least a 2 putt minimum. Despite not having well manicured greens the greens run at medium firmness and speed. Any Bubba Watson, JB Holmes & John Daly types will enjoy feasting on 2 drivable par 4’s # 2 & 6 ;however, my favorite hole is # 4 par 3 AKA the drop 135 yds @ 45 degree angle. Your ball almost waits in the air while you mentally guide it to the green. Don’t miss left one of only two bunkers. The reason why Paschal gets 3 of 5 is for the location & atmosphere you can’t beat a solid basic place to have a relaxing practice round.

Ive been there once, and the course itself for the money is a nice way to learn the game at a novice level. However my big complaint is with the ranger. Ive played on dozens of courses in several different states, and I know about pace of play and golf etiquette. But he kept pestering me about either picking it up or letting the group play through. The problem was there 4 groups all bunched up, and I, like everyone else, had to wait several minutes between every single shot. Yet for some reason he kept bothering and watching me. We were all waiting, and the group behind me even acknowledged there was nothing I could do. This ranger refused to drive ahead of me to see how we were ALL waiting on every shot of every hole. Instead he continued to blame me. Im always willing to let a group play through, but 4 groups all sandwiched together means no one could play through. It really ruined an otherwise nice day of golf for me

I bought a Groupon to play at this place. What a bad purchase. I went with a friend to play here on a semi-rainy day earlier this season. I was denied use of my Groupon due to the rain, and were not able to rent a cart. They let us walk for free (only reason they get an extra star). The maintenance guy was rude and disrespectful. The course was not kept up well and the greens were awful. I will not be playing here again. Also, its only 9 holes. Maybe I just had a bad experience but I would not recommend this golf club.

Being new to golf Paschals low greens fees were very attractive to me. When I first arrived it was what I expected. A small golf course with a little building where you pay. The course is what pretty good for the price. Although the greens are very flat and the only real challenge is the inconstancy in the grass. I recommend this course to anyone just getting into golf. It is a great beginner course, and is not overly expensive.

Paschal Golf Club is awesome. Ive played there for a while now and I am rarely disappointed. With their resources, I think they do a fine job..greens looked pretty decent to me last weekend when i played. Friendly folks and a fun course for the money.

It has to be the worst greens Ive ever seen. Also the course has no idea how to run pace of play for a 9 hole course. They were letting any and everyone go off as people were making the turn to play another 9. A waste of $30.

Nice 9 hole course for the price. Not always in very good shape, but they keep trying. Good for seniors not in a hurry and for new golfers. Friendly staff. Arnold Palmer played here when he was on college.

The course layout isnt bad, but the upkeep of the greens was horrible. We couldnt tell the difference between the rough and the fairway. No cart paths so to speak; weeds/crab grass were everywhere.

My wife and I are new golfer and members at Pascal. It is very senior friendly and always well groomed. Lots of fun to play at low rates.

Cheap and chill to play at. If you are a golf snob, then you may not enjoy it as mush as I.
