Many of you will see me at the park day to day. I will say yes there have been issues in the past along the trail and all park patrons’ safety is number one priority. Second the Orange County Parks Division runs the park NOT the YMCA many complaints or compliments are given to the Y and not routed to the park office hence they do not receive the information or kudos’s. The park is very large and offers many exciting things including fishing, the biking/rollerblade/running trail, a sand volleyball court, two Basketball courts, Four Tennis Courts, Two large rental Pavilions, two large Playgrounds, and many spots to enjoy picnics and barbecues’. And lastly the Park office no longer offers the Free Blue Bike Rentals this program ended in May of 2010 due to high costs to maintain program and cut to staff who work at the park. The staff recommends you rent the rentable pavilions 3 months in advance due to high popularity. Very big and beautiful park and a lot of sights to see including wildlife but please no feeding the animals as this cause the wildlife to depend on human food and not their natural foods.

My son went to a birthday party located at this park this past Saturday, November 5, 2016. One of the employees apparently got into a heated argument with a guy. My son came home saying *come over here p**** Ill beat your a**" My son explained to me the employee was a black man that was bald but had hair on his face. This man better be fired by the end of the week or Im taking it to the news. How dare you employ someone who a) doesnt know how not to use that kind of language around children and b)obviously has an anger management issue? My son and everyone else who attended that party says theyll no longer to go this park as long as this pos is employed at this park where CHILDREN play. I will be contacting the park management tomorrow morning after taking my son to school. This is not acceptable!

Look up Nicole Ganguzza RIP murder at this park and other woman have been attacked. If your new to the area do not let your guard down and do not go by your self if your a woman to this park Nicole Ganguzza was a local resident of Orange county married and lived in the area went by her self to jig at this park and was dragged into the bushes and killed by a psychopath. Murder still unsolved. Not worth risking your life for a jog or bike ride by your self. Be with some one if you decide to go and dont go alone ever.

This is a fantastic park. I like to walk on the trail and have picnics. The soccer fields and playgrounds are always busy, too, and people fish from the bridge behind the YMCA. We even see some cool animals sometimes, like the guy with his macaw and the other guy with his cat who thinks its a dog. Great atmosphere.

Along the walking trail was a table that was covered and out of the blazing sun in view of the basketball court where my husband was playing basketball. I was excited I had an option that provided shade so I could read. However it smelled like pee and the ants were aggressive. Not the best experience.

It is a great place for many reasons including play grounds, ymca, nature, biking, running/jogging/walking, rollerblading etc. Only complaint is the traffic driving through between Dean Rd. & Rouse Rd. Many speeding cars that are not actually visiting the park make it a dangerous place for the children.

The park looks good and has a playground, soccer fields, tables, grill, another playground, i biking trail. However, water is polluted very badly. It is basically imposible to catch anything but tilapia, so if your planing on fishing, its not the best spot. However the park itself is built very good.

Im always there! its a great park for running, biking, sports, canoeing, fishing, barbecues, and kids. It really has everything to offer except swimming. Its beautiful and peaceful, especially with the Little Econlockhatchee river running through it. You get some nice breezes there because of that!

I love going to Blanchard on Saturdays or Sundays with the fam,... walking the trail and sometimes picnicking right on the river... last Sat. we painted there and it was a blast! Really, really nice... relaxed and has lots of little gazebos with shade.

Theres always parking. The fields, bike/walking path, courts, play areas, and picnic areas are always kept very clean. There is plenty of seating along the bike/walking path so that theres always some available if youd like to sit and relax.

Great place to ride bikes, walk or run in East Orlando while you enjoy some nature. The whole trail is about 7 miles back and forth . You can also play tennis, fishing or have a picnic. Family oriented .

Great park, long trails for biking or running for miles that wrap around a lake with bridges along the way. YMCA there, places to grill, fields to play sports, not much more you could ask for.

Park is beautiful but impossible to catch any fish there. Water is polluted. People drive too fast through the park, dangerous for kids without supervision.
