Not to disappoint other viewers thoughts, comments however; the theater was never up to par before it changed to AMC referencing "cleanliness". which is a choice for us to attend or not... If these reviews are actually reviewed and the GM actually care about the reviews of the business only than will changes, improvement of the business with take place. You would think the company would "Deem" it important to make changes however only time will tell. Meanwhile, as the only community theatre in Forney that families have to attend for convenience purposes and affordability we should make our suggestions, ideas heard to make the "community" theater a much better facility to enjoy. With that said who/whom at AMC could follow up with a public feedback?? Thank you

Last night went to The Forney movie theater to watch "The Boy" at 9:55pm. Was having a pleasant experience until a family of 8 walked in with 6 kids. The younger kids walked the whole movie bumping the back of our chairs. At one point, the younger kids are whining and crying obviously sleepy. No one ever took the children out of the movie. Then later in the movie at least 2 of the children walked up and down the stairs during the movie. Was wondering if I was at a daycare or a movie? As we walked out, wanted to share my experience with someone, but only saw the 1 guy cleaning the concession stand. Did not see any security guards. Really? Then called today and was unable to speak to a live person and the voicemail was full. Wow! Wow!

I wholeheartedly believe that AMC only bought this theater and the Starplex dollar move at Beltline because they were putting the hurt on AMC 30. The dollar theater is self explanatory, but the Forney theater was great. People would drive from Mesquite for the prices, cleanliness, and safety that AMC 30 cant hold a candle to. Since AMC took over, the staff of 3-4 kids is less than half the size and none are older than 17-18 years old. Ive never seen a manager. Everything says buy and let it crash so people are forced back to AMC 30. Not gonna happen fellas. Not until you eliminate Netflix and on demand, MAYBE Ill force myself back into your disgusting theater then.

This was one of the Starplex brand theaters. So it is still not as nice as the other AMC theaters. Lets have a little history lesson (For those if you who dont know) :) The Starplex brand theater started as a cheap alternative to other theaters. AMC bought out the brand Starplex this year. So as I was saying it is old and not as nice as REAL AMC theaters. It is a little expensive (For this quality, since it is a AMC now) The thing I would suggest to the OWNERS is that you remodel the theaters with TRADITIONAL AMC SEATS My main thing is the seats arent as good as REAL AMC theater seats. Overall I like the theater it just needs remodeling!!! (To meet AMCs standards)

Since AMC has taken over its aweful!! We are very disappointed as the theater use to be amazing, friendly, fun and clean. Miguel, if someone so much as touches my kid they would regret they came to work that night... Assault on a kid! Hmmm.... Lawsuit! Not to mention what an angry mother would have done to that employee!!! They better be glad that wasnt me... They would be the one crying!!! Uhhhh :/ I would have ripped my kids snack back out of his hand and put it up his **** where the sun dont shine! Hopefully things will get better and its just the in between stage of ownership... Try it and if your not satisfied then let people know!

At the ticket booth, there were 3 younger workers, around my own age. They were rude, unprofessional, and vulgar. I dont expect it to be perfect, and I hate complaining about service, as i can usually tell that people are trying their best, but these people blatantly did not care. They were extremely rude and I considered talking to what appeared to be the managers about it, until I saw that they too joined in. I was not pleased at all with this experience. I have been coming here for years and Ive never had a problem before. The staff just seems very new and untrained.

Worst movie experience ever! 15 minutes past the start time we let them know the screen was still blank. They assured us it usually started 15 minutes late. WHY? Dont incorrectly list the time. 30 minutes past start time, another moviegoer checked to see what was going on. They told him it would start abruptly. Our screen flickered and was suddenly in the middle of the movie, then they started it with no sound for a few moments. Finally, 40 minutes after the listed time we had movie going. I will NEVER go again and we used to frequent the theatre. Ridiculous.

Left with the kids in tears. We gave ourselves a few extra minutes because we realized it was a holiday weekend. When we got there, there were 3 employees doing everything, including selling tickets and running the concession stand. After several minutes in a SLOW line, I estimated I could potentially still be half an hour away from buying our tickets. And by then the movie would already have started. I dont know how things are run there normally. But on this day, our experience was a thorough disappointment.

We checked the online times and it said 9:15. after driving 20 minutes to get there (we arrived at 8:50) we waited in line and when it was our turn to buy tickets we found out there was no 9:15 showing, and the board said the next showing was at 10:00....yet even then the accrual actual time the previews started was 10:45. And the tickets said the movie started at 10:15. Lots of time wasted waiting around for a below par looking theatre. Next time Ill spend the extra money and go to AMC 30.

I would give a 0 if it was an option. This theater has gone downhill. Hotdogs were cold. Ok it was the first show of the day but the customer service was crappy when we returned them and asked for hot ones. Popcorn was stale already at 11 am on a Saturday morning, drink machine was out of the first 3 things we tried to purchase and the theater smells and is stuffy.The lobby was cooling down at 130 when. We left but the theater itself was miserable. We wont be back.

Love the changes! The staff was friendly! Love the kiosk in the front makes purchasing tickets easy. Reclining seats, could be spaced out further for comfort. They have the best hot dogs for $1 and lets not forget the FREE REFILLS!!! Everyone is complaining about cleanliness and projection quality. It was dirty and crappy when it was the Starplex. Rome wasnt built in a day people adjustments take time!!! Be grateful for the things you do have in this small town!!!

Dirty, unattractive and lacking in costumer service. No movie marque. No ticket sales person. Serve yourself drinks. The small drink is a 32oz medium for kids. Really too much soda for anyone especially kids. The movie viewing was super cold. People brought blankets. The volume was too low. This sad theater only gets our occasional patronage because its the only choice. We usually go to the beautiful AMC in Mesquite or the Cinemamark in Rockwall.

Since the change of owners, it had been awful. Its all ONE line. Dont plan on getting there 15 minutes before showtime. Everyone stands in one line to buy tickets and to get food. Even if you dont want food. They are trying to pursue people to becoming paid members, in order to go to the members only line. Awful! Took us over 30 minutes just to get thru the line to buy tickets. We did this twice. Not again AMC...not again!
