This theater is not the best for a great movie experience. The seating area is always filthy with trash and most of the time they do not clean in between movies. The seats are never cleaned or wiped down (sticky, stinky). The projectors are not in focus, screens are torn and hanging down into the picture and the walk way lights are so bright it can be bothersome, depending where you sit (lights should aim down, not up). The food is okay, but they have been out of pepperoni pizza for nearly 6 months, no exaggeration! I wont even discuss the restrooms........yuck. I honestly thik the problem is the young mngmnt. with no experience, always hiding in the office and never helping the employees. TOO BAD THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION IN TOWN! Sometimes I drive all the way to Greenville just to avoid this dump. Amateur time theatre and you will pay top dollar to be disappointed.

You can tell this is an older theatre as soon as you pull up to it. The parking lot is spacious, so you do not have to worry about not finding a place to park for your movie. I went in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon, and there were a good amount of people (probably because of the $5 Tuesdays). The games are all broken down, and I was informed it has been that way for years, so stick to just movie watching for the kids! The staff were all very friendly and made sure the lines went fast. The theater seats are fairly old; however, they are very comfortable with great leg room. Aside from the two boys (no older than 12) running around the theater of a rated R movie and talking/shouting throughout a large chunk of it, the movie was great and I would gladly watch another one at the same theater.

Its a good theater if you want to see a random movie with friends. It is terrible if youre looking for a GOOD cinema experience. Ive seen plenty of movies in this movie theater (movies Im not that into) hanging out with friends or on a bored Saturday night, and every time that Ive seen a movie theres always something wrong, for example: The first time I went to see a really good movie was the Hunger Games. Theres a lot of parts where there is whispering or low conversations. I CANT even hear it because the dang AC is so freaking loud, or I can hear the bathroom toilets!!! The Audio needs a lot of work, or at least louder for everyone to hear. Thats why ever since that movie I have never seen a really good movie in that theater, because the theater ruined such a great movie.

The experience was tainted by me having to wait to get a pop corn refill. The cost of the food at the concession stand is very high. To justify the cost I purchased the large pop corn and drink combo so I could get a free refill on the pop corn. When I went to the stand to get a refill, the attendant had me stand in line to get the refill. This seems strange to me because the movie I was watching had been playing. I think they should have a better procedure for people getting refills. I am sure the attendant was only doing his job and me not going back to this theater wont cause the place to close down but you might want to give consideration to this issue. I spent fifty five dollars on this trip and I am sure I can find somewhere else to spend my money.

This movie theater is terrible. It must be employees writing the good reviews. Unfortunately its the only theater in town so they obviously dont feel the need to fix their problems. Disgusting bathrooms, damaged screens, movies not adjusted to the screen size etc. We saw the Peanuts movie there before Thanksgiving. The picture was rotated about ten degrees. The employees said that was normal!! One screen has a stain on it that is shown off during light scenes. Another has a piece of fabric hanging from the top. The last movie we saw was Revenant and the picture had black boxes on all sides. Again, employees said this is normal. I guess Im the moron because i keep giving them my business.

The prices are abut average for a movie theater, but the building is old, and not kept up well. There were boxes stacked on the concession stand, the lobby was very dim and sparse, the concessions left a lot to be desired (and the employee refused to give the advertised free refill on a large popcorn) They also dont accept fandango tickets. The theater itself was not cleaned well between movies, and the air conditioning was knocking loud enough to be distracting during even the noisiest scene. The good thing is, you pretty much have the theater to yourself, as many people would rather go to a more modern theater, and the parking lot is aparantly sketchy enough that the cops park there at night.

THE most disgusting restrooms I have EVER been in! Movie was great, snacks were great, climate of the theatre was great, but....to take 3 small kids into a bathroom that disgusting completely turned me away from attending this theatre again. It wasnt only GROSS but UNSAFE for small kids. Popcorn all over the floor, spilled drinks, wall attachments hanging and about to fall, no soap or broken soap dispensers and I havent even mentioned what EVERY stall and toilet looked like - too reprehensible to post on the internet. I felt sick on my stomach. You spend money for a ticket like they think youre a millionaire and expect you to take care of business like youre in a 3rd world country.

9/26/16 Four years of experience with this one: Three stars for cleanliness, very harmful sound levels for everyone in all theaters- ask to have it adjusted to reasonable levels. friendly, helpful staff, well lit parking, people coming in exit doors, filthy stinking bathrooms during peak times. Dirty snack areas. Carpet smells bad and needs cleaning. Management:- it took four years of asking and finally threatening to get bathroom latches repaired. But it is the only theater around. Usual selection and prices. Tuesday discounted. A good family theater which usually carries at least one kids movie and also shows Christian movies. No art or Avant Guarde here. Go to Raleigh for IMAX.

Movies were great just their security sucks, It seems like on Tuesdays the most busiest day they would have officers patrolling the theater. My car was recently broke in when I parked on the side of the building, another car was also broken into the same night. They have NO CAMERAS on side or the back of the movie theater. Management didnt even come outside to check to see what was going on. Once the officer arrived he stated that cars are always getting broke in there that it happens a couple times a week, that he would just advise people not to park on the side of the building. I think they should do something about it especially since it happens so often.

If you live in the area or within a 30 mile radius of rocky mount this is one of two theaters that offer multiple movies to choose from. The pricing is the same as other theaters comparable in size as well as the concession prices. The bathrooms are maintained well, but can use a cleaning periodically with the amout of traffic that goes in and out. The surround sound is not as great as those offered in a few locations in raleigh, but still offers a theater experience. The best times for me and my family are usually the matinee times, due to the younger more immature crowd that comes in during the evening showtimes.
