Ive begin a loyal patron of Regal Cinemas 13 and 14 for almost 8 years now. I dont appreciate having to have my backpack checked everytime I go. Im told that this is for security reasons. With the recent terror attacks and theatre shootings that have been happening lately, I understand where theyre coming from. Then again, why is it that they dont check womens purses or handbags? I ask why am I having my bag searched, when entering behind several women, carrying bags big enough to carry a small handgun or even an uzi in, and they arent searched. Im told that its because women carry purses. Ill admit thats true. However, Im a bus rider and a walker. People like me often carry a backpack. If I had a car to throw all of the stuff that I need to carry around in, I wouldnt need a backpack. Im also told that I can leave it with security. Im telling you right now, thats out! I wouldnt mind leaving it with security, except for the fact that things left laying around, out of the owners sight, tend to turn up missing. Im quite sure that Regal Cinemas is like most other organizations, and will claim no responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged property left with their security or other employees. So again, like I mentioned before, thats out! I dont record the movies that I go see. Nor am I a gun owner / carrier or some nutty-ass terrorist! Ive spent thousands of dollars in these theatres, and I demand to be treated like a customer, and with respect! I think that Regal Cinemas should learn how to treat their loyal customers a lot better. Also, they should try to remember that not every Black guy, wearing a bandana, and carrying a backpack, is up-to-no-good and looking to blow up or shoot up the place! -_- Im only rating 3 stars because of all of the aforementioned, the reserved seating bullshit, and their astronomical food prices. Otherwise, it wouldve been a 5 stars. I do plan on continuing my patronage, for the moment at least...............

So you may have heard that Regal recently installed reclining seats in all of their theaters - what you may not know is that is all theaters except #7 which is an IMAX theater. #7 still has more comfortable seats like the ones that recline with the wide flat arm rests and all but they dont recline. I figured this out when I went to see The Jungle Book in IMAX 3D and was pretty disappointed. That said, the seats in all of the other theaters are AWESOME! They recline electronically so you push a button and hold it which causes the foot rest to come out slowly and as it does the back reclines slowly. It mildly sucks that you cant control the foot rest and the back separately but the seat is still pretty stinkin comfortable. My biggest complaint is that the buttons to recline/incline the seat are on the inside of the right arm rest near the thigh area. Im a wider person with a decent amount of junk in my trunk so Ive had problems at a lot of businesses including doctors offices, concert halls, movie theaters, etc. installing narrower seats so that they can cram more people into their space. The seats here at Regal are wide enough to be comfortable for me which is super nice but the placement of the buttons is an inconvenience. My saddle bags have a tendency to push the buttons at random during the movie so Ill be sitting there enjoying the show and the next thing I know, Im moving and I have to reach down to re-adjust. Its a minor problem that is only going to effect others like me but I figured it was worth mentioning. Really my biggest complaint is the pricing. Movie theaters have just gotten so expensive lately that I only go out to see a movie two or three times a year anymore. I guess they have to do something to make up the expense of reclining leather seats. :)

This is not the IMAX experience that youll probably be expecting. The screen size is the same size as the rest of the theaters. I was expecting a screen that was large enough to make the 3D experience worth my money but it was totally not. Not only was the screen the same size the seats were rocker seats and in the regular theater the seats are electric recliners. Finally the sound system was way too loud for the size of the theater room. My ears actually hurt, this may have been an impressive feature for the tart the purchased it but it was overkill. Imagine the speaker system that you would see in an arena for a concert or show; that same speaker system was just placed in the back corner and like I said it was uncomfortably loud. Dont waste your money, my son and I went to see Everest expecting to see an actual IMAX screen and comfortable seats. But I got a standard movie screen, ridiculously loud sound and crappy seats for a whopping $33. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The only reason Im giving it one star is because of the reclining seats. First is I paid almost $40 dollars for three tickets. Assigned seating is a joke! I was told that by the girl in the box office that people who book online take precedence over walk up buyers I was utterly shocked. I have neck problems and tried to explain to the girl in the box office that I cant turn my head in certain areas. She wouldnt let me pick a seat that would allow for my injury. Total attitudes from everyone of the employees. It shouldnt cost almost $100 dollars to take myself and 2 kids to the movies. I will definitely not be coming back to this cinema! It used to be so much better here.

I was REALLY disappointed with my "IMAX Experience" at this movie house. I went there to see Godzilla on a six-storey screen - not a screen slightly larger than an average movie screen. The picture was fine, but it was no better than any other digitally-projected movie image. The sound was excellent, but what movie theater doesnt have great sound now? It is disappointing that Regal does not inform their customers that they only offer "IMAX-lite" but theyre charging the same price as a theater (for example, Brenden Theatres) that offers a truly remarkable six-storey screen with a sound system that leaves your numb for a week!

Well, the movie was great and you cant complain about the reclining seats. But I was absolutely amazed at how much food there WASNT at the snack bar. I mean, being out of one item is one thing but they were out of everything we asked for even down to the cheese for the pretzel. The girl at the counter tried to pass off some nacho cheese for my pretzel, but I didnt notice until I was already in the theater in those comfy seats & was too into the movie to contest the problem. So nacho cheese it was... but I would never ask for that intentionally.

went here to see Dumb and Dumber to. It is a regal cinema so you can expect all that they give you. I really like Regal. They do not let you down with regard to quality. The theater itself was clean and well designed. Comfy chairs that you could recline a bit in. The service at the ticket office was good and the refreshments were good too, albeit very expensive.. but I guess that is what you can expect from a movie theater experience these days - 3000% mark up on popcorn that will probably give you a heart attack!
