Just returning from a night at Cobb movie theater in Leesburg, VA and dont think Ill be back anytime soon. The theater was filled with immature teenagers who dont understand the difference between watching a movie in your living room and watching at a theater. Despite a variety of very clear commercials indicating a no cell phone/texting policy at a public theater, the entire row of teenage girls in front of me were texting and talking the entire time. They were screaming at the top of their lungs anytime they got scared and shouting out/carrying on throughout the movie. On three or four occasions, someone complained and a staff member came in and politely asked them to stop. But they continued and the staff did, really, nothing about it. The pre-movie commercials indicated a no talking/texting policy and specifically stated that ignoring the policy was grounds for removal from the theater. I just want to know how many times they have to be warned before they execute the right to make them leave! It ruined the experience for those adults who were looking forward to a nice evening out at the movies. I said something to one of the staff members who addressed the teens as I was leaving....but she said she isnt allowed to make anyone leave. Well...if that is the case they shouldnt make false claims about it to begin with. All theyre doing is enabling the terrible behavior. Movie theaters....not like they used to be. What a shame. Booo Cobb Theater!

Cobb 12 village Cinemas has really astonished me. They have AMAZING food, and comfortable seating. The popcorn is the best that I have EVER had, I cant believe that I went to Regal for so long. Cobb has really innovated the movie going experience. The staff was SUPER friendly and informative. The best customer service that I have ever seen. The food from the kitchen is so good it felt like I was in a 5 star restaurant, and the pager system was so fast and efficient. I had to go to concierge to receive my tickets and the management was so nice and thoughtful. Compared to other theaters the prices were great AND affordable. The bar in the theater was amazing as well, they have such talented bartenders and the drinks were amazing, I also loved how they had trays that fit into the cup holder so you can use your tray as a table and then take it away when youre finished! How amazing! I wish that all other theaters were like this one, and I hope to see Cobb thrive in the future. I will forever go to Cobb for future movie showings and you should too. Keep it up Cobb!

Also not a fan of alcohol in the theatre In theory, there would be no problem with this and adults could enjoy their beverage and the film. However, in practice, there are plenty of people that cant handle both drinking and being respectful to others. The women next to us spent about 10 minutes during the movie talking until I asked a theater employee to get them to please be quiet. Then, one of them spilled their wine on the floor, narrowly missing my purse. Combine this with the teenage hoodlums checking out the women customers as they walked in, making judgment on which ones they found attractive, and I wont be going back. Its a shame, as the theater is very nice, but not worth dealing with the low class clientele to patronize it.

Boo Cobb theatre!! First Date night in about three years since having kids, finally got a sitter, waited for a few weeks to read the Hunger Games books, and they CANCEL the movie we bought Fandango tickets for! Except, we didnt find out until 15 minutes before the movie. We purposely wanted to drive an extra 15 minutes to this movie theatre instead of the one that was much closer, due to the amenities and food. So, I had to pay for the sitter and was greatly disappointed because the one movie I was waiting for was cancelled!

My wife and I have been there a number of times. They have a handle on a niche market - food you can take into the theatre, great food and drink and dessert selection, etc. What is terribly disappointing is their phone system. Its impossible to get a human on the other line, the manager doesnt pick up with you pave over the recording by hitting "0" and theyre impossible to reach. When youre in the building, its generally good. But good luck trying to get someone helpful on the phone.

D-BOX makes the movie going experience unbelievable! For $8 more per movie its not a bad price. Definitely have to choose a good movie to do DBOX. Bar area if you want to get drinks beforehand, and the food has gotten better over the years. Not just popcorn and movie theater food, but burgers, sandwiches, and most recently Korean Tacos - those are great! Also love the location of this theater in Leesburg Village since there are plenty of other

Getting food/drinks was a little slow (you might want to show up at least half an hour early if you want to order food or beer/wine), but the theatre itself was awesome. The dbox seats (reserved seating that moves/tilts/vibrates in time with the movie) were also great for the Dark Knight Rises. Luckily the seats have controls and can be turned down or off if you dont like the motion, or if you just want to eat your food in peace.

The Cobb Theaters ambiance is one of home-like elegance. Simple pleasure of a good movie, better than average food, in an attractive and comfortable setting. Of course the typical movie-goer refreshments are over-priced, but real food and drinks (wine) are reasonable. The best deal is the frozen yogurt! I think our Village at Leesburg is a great asset for the community, anchored on both ends between Wegmans and the Cobb!

Cobb is a convenient, clean, and family friendly movie theater. Although the prices are higher than some, the consistency really shines through. Ive been going since it opened 5ish years ago, and have yet to experience any technical difficulties. The snacks are outrageously overpriced, but if you go to the nearby Wegmans beforehand, you might be able to sneak some snacks in. The staff is friendly, and the seats decent.

Warning about their special refreshment deals. They have posted 1 large popcorn and 2 large drinks and you receive free candy. However when you check out they tell you candy is limited to two choices. Even though the signs say nothing about limited selection. They said the candy was limited to choice on the sign. R I P O F F artists. You're welcome.

Weird! You order a meal then go to your seat with a vibrator letting you know when its ready. Then have to heave during movie to pick it up. You are eating totally in the dark... Cant even see your meal. Nice menu choices but everything we got was terrible. (Pizza and tacos terrible, popcorn and wings okay ) and I am pretty easy to please.
