Ive golfed at Eagle Vale for as long as I can remember. Ive always enjoyed my experience, up until yesterday where I felt completely un-welcomed. We had a ranger follow us to the point where we felt stalked. Hole #s 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, he watched us either from afar or right behind us. A few guys from our group felt so uncomfortable that their performance suffered. After hole #9 we grabbed a bite to eat where pro shop employee "AM" (name on the receipt), told us we needed to pick up the pace. I could not understand why we would be asked to pick up the pace when there was literally no one behind us for at-least 3 holes. After sharing I felt it was rude to be told to pick up the pace, the ranger came over and explained that the problem was we were playing as a 5 sum. I thanked the ranger and explained I can understand the concern of a group of 5, but I did not understand why we would be asked to pick up the pace with no one in sight behind us. The ranger explained that if it got busy, other groups would want to do the same thing. I explained that not one employee told us we needed to play as 2 groups. If it was such a big problem, why didnt the ranger who was watching us, hole after hole, approach us and explain this. Thankfully we were left alone in the back 9 where we saw the ranger only twice. We spent over $500 at Eagle Vale and were made to feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Any good business will help make the customer feel at home or at least welcomed and if the customer were making an honest mistake, the business would help educate. I will not be recommending Eagle Vale to anybody. What I find funny is that Eagle Vale says that the front 9 should be played in 2 hours, and the back 9 should be played in 2 hours and 15 minutes. We teed off at 10:00 am, and the last ball was putted into hole #18 at 2:21 pm.

Eagle Vale was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception! Karen and the rest of the staff was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. They worked with us on a few things that we wanted to do that were a little out of the norm (I surprised my husband by renting a pool table for the reception). The food was excellent. People are still commenting to us about the food and it was a week ago. We just wish we hadn’t been so preoccupied with socialized and had eaten more of the appetizers. Also, even though the ballroom is large and can accommodate a few hundred people, it was perfect for our 100 guests. The layout never made it feel too big, but actually gave it a nice flow for those who wanted to dance, sit and chat, hang out around the bar, and/or play pool. I would definitely recommend Eagle Vale!

I had my wedding at Eagle Vale back in September of 2015, it turned out to be amazing. Karen and her staff we super helpful and did such a beautiful job putting everything together the way we had hoped it would turn out. I liked Eagle Vale from the start do to the large amount of people they can fit. The fact that the space is crisp and clean like an empty canvas is a huge bonus, you can transform that room into whatever youd like using decorations and uplighting. The food was pretty good, the Filet Mignon was out of this world... we had a lot of compliments on the food. Also another huge bonus is no noise ordinance! We were able to dance and have a great time without having to worry about shutting down the party too early.

Well maintained course. Beautiful clubhouse and facilities. The course itself is too expensive for what I think you get. In general its flat. Little bit of water and sand, but felt like the same hole over and over. My biggest gripe is the houses that line the course, just a few feet from the fairway. I like golf, but not every shot is straight. Id rather not pay $50+ for a course, and then risk hundreds more hitting a house. With all the options in Rochester, this one doesnt offer the value.

I see one negative I review on here and I shake my head. I played Eagle Vale a good half dozen times last year and the course and especially the greens were superb, unusual for a public track. From the Pro Shop to the restaurant, I felt like I was spending an afternoon at a country club, everyone so friendly and polite. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I think the guy that bad mouthed the place had one too many strokes that day.

My son had his wedding reception there and the event was the best. The staff was very professional and did an A+ job - and they were short one person that night - couldnt tell. The event coordinator was super, the food was great - all the guests remarked on it. The main even room was large enough to give the guests rooms to spread out - and was arranged to it didnt seem too big. Check this place out for your event - youll be happy with it.

Driving range has mats (not natural grass). Small chipping area. Putting green. The course overall is a lot of dog-leg lefts. It is a pretty course, well maintained, and peaceful. Would like some sand ON the golf carts for the divots though. Friendly staff. Will play again.

Over booked. Slow play. Five and a half hour round. Way to expensive for Rochester. Lousy food at the turn. Course is not that great. There are a lot better courses in the area.

Great golf course. Very well maintained and quick greens. It can get a little expensive on the weekends and they frown on walking during some weekend hours.

Staff is not attentive. They said the driving range was open but it wasnt and we had to drive 20 miles back home after a friend recommended this course.
