First of all, who the hell brings a pet (let alone a hamster) to a movie theater? Just a thought I had while reading one of the reviews above. And you brought your own cushion?? Secondly, I grew up in and spend a lot of time in Westminster, so I may have a bias...but really, this theater is not that bad. I have been there a million times over the years, and to me, it beats driving 40 minutes to Owings Mills (which has its own set of issues) or Gettysburg/Hanover. Sure, the seats arent of the ultra-padded and/or reclining sort, but the theater itself isnt deserving of all the negativity I see here. The people working there are generally nice, the bathrooms are clean, and while the prices (for both movies and concessions) are somewhat high, what movie theater can you go to for cheap nowadays anyway? The days of inexpensive movie-going are long, long gone. If you go to any movie theater on a Friday or Saturday night, I think there is potential for disappointment no matter where you are. Those are the busiest nights! What I mean is, you cant complain about loud moviegoers or talkative teenagers if thats when you choose to go. And furthermore, it just sounds like these fellow reviewers are looking for something to gripe over. This theater isnt perfect, yeah, but its serviceable if youre bored and looking to see a movie. Hell, I like the fact that its usually not that busy, but then again, look at the freaking mall! The place has been a relative ghost town for the last 10-15 years! I like to see a lot of movies by myself (sorry if you think thats weird), and I appreciate the lack of long lines and the mostly empty theaters...it feels tranquil to me and I like the simpleness of the whole place. I dont have to go up a 3-story escalator to get the theater, or wade through a ridiculous amount of people to get a soda from an employee who doesnt give a damn about my experience. To me, you go to watch a film and you either enjoy it or you dont...if youre complaining about the seats, the floors, "stuff on the screen" (cmon man), or the quality of the sound, I think you may need to re-evaluate your expectations. This isnt the Multiplex 500 with IMAX 3D...its The Town Mall of Westminster!

If I could give this place a negative star review, I would. I am furious that my mother in law purchases a gift card via fandango to use here to allow my husband and I take a night off work to see a movie and when we get there not only is it advertised that fandango is a partner of theirs and helps you with "worry free ticket purchases" and not even a manager could help us redeem our tickets. As we try to figure it out with no assistance because the "manager" is sitting there blowing raspberries saying " uhhhh I have no clue, and "could" grab another manager" yet doesnt, as another customer comes up and is offered help. If youre the manager at a theatre, where Fandango posters and advertisements are posted in multiple places around the register, wouldnt it make sense to know about Fandangos app? After purchasing the tickets taking about 20 minutes to do so because the internet connection there is HORRIBLE we finally purchase only to learn we have a $1.90 overage and need to pay that to gain access to our ticket, so not only again is it a hassle but it youre going to advertise for fandango then why dont you have someone assist customers with their purchases? If theyre new to it or dont quite understand how to navigate it instead of letting the movie get started while were still trying to ask if we can pay the overage. Im disgusted with the horrible customer service, Im even more disgusted that a "manager" was no help at all and frankly looked as though shed prefer to be somewhere else. If I were running a company I wouldnt have her working for me. Frankly, it doesnt make sense to pay somebody to do nothing. Do you want to make that 27 dollar sale or not? So thanks for the ultimate let down on our date night and thanks for making sure we will never return or give you any further business. She made that really easy. If she would have come over to help or even ask someone more experienced to assist us we would have been more patient. Rather we missed ten minutes of the movie and ultimately walked out.

I went there to review King Arthur Legend of the Sword when it first came out, and it was so uncomfortable, smelly, small, and of poor quality I had to go to another theater just to give the movie an unbiased review. Staff are about as best as can be expected when working in these conditions. After comparisons with other (closest) Regal Cinemas Theaters this one has the highest price for food and tickets. Because someone thought highest price for lowest quality was a good idea. Do yourself a favor and go to AMC in Owings Mills or the three other theaters in Columbia. Heck if you want a fun experience for the same price go to the Egyptian Cinemark in Arundel Mills.

This theater its awful. Its archaic. The chairs are equivalent to those fold out metal chairs that have a slight amount of cushion on them. I came here a few Weeks ago and they did let me bring my own cushion in, which was nice for Charlie (my hamster) who I snuck in with me. But even he wouldnt eat the nasty popcorn that they scooped off of the bottom of the machine (it was gross). But the fact that the theater was empty was nice b/c it was easier to hide Charlie than usual, and when he snuck off my lap I wasnt disturbing anyone when I had to catch him. But if youre not bringing a pet, its better to go to the Gettysburg theater

Most of the staff are teens/young adulte. I have heard that some people have had negative experiences with the staff, but personally, I think they are very nice! Once I accidentally dropped a bucket of popcorn and the janitor was very kind. He said something along the lines of "dont worry about it, youre fine" and cleaned it up for me! They have a nice photobooth there, which I use whenever I go with some of my friends.

Where do I begin? The seats are always sticky and squeaky, employees are rude I was in the mall one day and went to use one of their machines and get yelled at "You got a ticket!?", some of the movie screens sag or have stuff on them, and their is always a group of teenagers who are talking during the movie. I hate this theater with a passion. Make the drive to leitersburg cinemas or another nearby theater its worth it.

As a used-to-be resident in Westminster, Ive been quite spoiled now going to school at Arizona State and being in the theaters in AZ that are so clean, sound quality is astounding, picture is larger and clearer, and super high tech. I love going to theaters but this one has gotten messier and is in reaaalllyy bad shape. Movies are supposed to be watched in luxury for the full experience. Harkins is the way to go!!

Looks and smells like it hasnt been clean since the 1970s. Grossly overpriced and they have made no investment in updating the theater. Bathroom disgusting. Uncomfortable seats. You literally could feel the springs. Smelled like urine. Driving to the movies in Hanover (or Gettysburg) is a much better option
