My family and I decided to go to see a mid-week movie and after buying popcorn and snacks to our disbelief the projector in the movie theater was not working and there was not anything the theater staff could do to correct it.. The worst part of the situation was the fact that the staff at the ticket box office was not aware of the malfunctioning projector and still selling tickets for the movie, secondly the manager was not apologetic while giving us a refund for the movie tickets. The manager didnt say good evening, Im sorry about the inconvenience, heres your refund, NOTHING. The experience was terrible, a complete waste of time, and it ruined our movie night out. Theres nothing fun about having popcorn, Icees, and movie theater snacks with no movie to watch. This theater should really work on their customer service and be able to handle theater issues with lower impact to the customers.

This place is okay, I dont like how you cant go in with two people to get in both ticket and snack lines at the same time seeing as how you need a ticket to get to the snack line. I also dont like Pepsi products, so that kills all of the drink choices besides water and lemonade. Id drink the coke zero equivalent of pepsi, pepsi max but no one seems to have it anywhere. Our Imax movie star trek broke halfway through and they offered our money back or credit. we waited about 10 minutes and it resumed a few minutes before it broke. They werent very professional about any of this, waited a while before a sweaty woman hugged a corner and told us this as she slipped away.

The theatre was very big and the seats reclined. The imax looked fantastic and the sound quality was amazing. The missing star is because the theatre could have been cleaner and the staff could have been friendlier. Both ticketing and concession seemed bothered by my patronage which definitely keeps me from feeling the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Otherwise, my husband, myself, and my 3 year old child wound up spending 40$ with military discount for a large popcorn, large drink, and our imax 3d tickets. I would go again.

Positive: Seats are great and it wasnt too dirty either. Not overwhelmed with advertisements. Sound wasnt overcranked. Negative: Digital projection was less than stellar. Pixels were clearly visible, panning seemed to blur, and there were many moments were the focus seemed off. In particular the wide, richly detailed aireal shots of The Hobbit were not as readable as I desired. Worse was the loud thrum of the room, some noise like an air handler which sounded like a droning subwoofer. Unacceptable noise insulation.

Ill be taking my business somewhere where my 2nd amendment rights are honored. After you purchase your tickets they have a small " No concealed weapons" sign inside of the lobby. The sign is not in accordance to SC state law. SECTION 23-31-235. Sign requirements(B) All signs must be posted at each entrance into a building where a concealable weapon permit holder is prohibited from carrying a concealable weapon and must be: (1) clearly visible from outside the building;

The IMAX screen has odd lines on it that tend to show up on the lighter and whiter scenes. This can be completely distracting, especially if the movie is in 3D. They tend to have the volume up really loud, which I normally enjoy, but at this theatre there are loose fittings and panels, and the noise from the shaking on heavy bass tends to distract me from the movie experience. Regal has stepped their game up with RPX and this IMAX pales in comparison.

I wish I could give this place no stars, but 1 is the lowest rating. First off, the bathrooms were disgusting. Everything was way too overpriced for the service we received. The customer service as a whole was horrible. One manager in particular, who was working the ticket booth tonight, ruined our night and on more than one occasion I have had complaints about her. I refuse give any more of my business to this place. Ill go to James Island Cinemas.

This is my favorite theater in the area by far. It is very orderly when busy, the staff has always been polite and patient, and the entire establishment is very clean. Only once have I seen a mess on the floor, and the Manager immediately cleaned it up. I have taken many children in for kids shows and never felt from the staff that they were an inconvenience, which I have felt that way in other theaters. Definitely a family friendly environment.

I came here because I received a free movie ticket that I got when I gave blood at the local RedCross, the ticket didnt say it expired or had a "start date" so when I arrived to see my movie they told me that the ticket couldnt be used until the following Friday. I am very upset. If your going to make a free movie ticket then information like that should go on it. As for the theatre, it was very nice and very clean and the movie was great!

Shocking that they seem challenged to sell tickets some weeks that new movies come out until they set the schedule, so I cant buy tickets until Friday for a show ON FRIDAY. Every other theater in existence gets this stuff right. Cmon, get it together, people. Its not that hard. You know what movies youre getting. You know how long each movie is. Slot it in, publish the schedule, sell tickets. Its not rocket science.

Manager (Taylor) treated us awfully on my mothers 60th birthday. We dropped and stepped on 2 of our IMAX glasses and he refused to give us another. By the end of the conversation would not even let us PAY for new glasses. He couldnt of been more happy to ruin our night, young arrogant punk flirting with his highschool staff. I cant wait for one of the girls to file a lawsuit, because i will be watching and laughing.

Im totally upset my fiance and I went to the movies on 9-9-2016 To see when The Bough Breaks and the movie started skipping scenes and their was no sound . So the movie staff gave us the option to stay and finish the movie or get a pass .Its already late so mostly everyone in the theater waited in line for a pass. I will be back to see if we are able to get in watch the movie with no parts skipping .

Its sad that 2 police officers were unable to control the high school kids who attend the movies here. 2 police officers per theater is unreal. It makes for an unfriendly environment for families and children. We were unable to hear the movie with all the yelling and talking from the kids in the theater. We appreciate the police officers and feel for the owners of this theater.

Easy Accessible place with plenty of parking. Movie rates have been climbing. Unfortunately not too many servers at the concession stand especially when you have a big line. That part is frustrating. Otherwise it is a clean place to take your family to watch movies on the silver screen. Imax theater is their best attraction as well as it most expensive one.

I viewed the movie St. Vincent in theater 15. The seats were very comfortable, however, the amount of noise and vibrations from the other theaters was very distracting. Ive been to many movie theaters and never experienced anything like it! You think a little more thought would have been put into sound proofing the walls of a such a facility!
