We took our 6-year old niece two weeks ago to the Junior course, and she had a fantastic time! Every single member of the staff was incredibly friendly and energetic, and truly took the time to ensure the entire partys safety and understanding of the rules (in the perfect way) before sending us out. The Junior course was really entertaining (and included some great challenges) for all of us. Its difficult to make a course that fits families of all heights, they nailed it. Our niece is tall for her age but still had to reach (safely) for things. It was a little less comfortable for the 6 + members of our group, but they still had fun. I regret not catching his name, but extra kudos to the gentleman manning the top of the Zipline. Our niece found that difficult ground between fear and excitement. He deftly rounded other kids waiting to the parallel Zipline, all while assuring her (in a kid-friendly way) that she didnt have to go down, but she could give it a shot. With no fewer than three strategies (and all the patience in the world) she finally went for it. She enjoyed it so much that was all she wanted to do for the rest of our allotted time on the course. Final words: the staff is fantastic. The Junior course (even for adults) is a ton of fun. The location is convenient and the course is well-shaded, so even in the heat of summer it will still be enjoyable. Most importantly, my niece described it as "the best day of her life" and cant wait to go back. High praise from her. Cant wait to take her back now and, when shes old enough, on to the full course!

Our family went to Go Ape in Raleigh NC yesterday and it was amazing! Our little girl is 4.5 years old and just tall enough to do the Junior course. From the second we arrive the staff was amazing! Our guides name was Joe and he made sure we were all safe in our harnesses and went over the instructions with us in a way a 4.5 year old could understand. It took us the whole time to complete the entire Junior course. Of course our little one was a little nervous. The staff was super encouraging! They cheered her on as she went on some of the most difficult obstacles. She was super scared at the last obstacle where her little legs were just not long enough to make the stretch and daddy had to hold her up the whole way across. Not only did all the staff cheer her on as she went when we got down one of the staff members told us to do the zip line one more time (even though our time had expired). She figured we should end on a positive note so my little one would want to come back. It definitely worked! The zip line was by far my little ones favorite! We had such a great time! We will be back soon and mommy and daddy are planning on completing the adult course next time!

Looking for some fun with family or friends? Go Ape is the place to do it. The staff is very professional, friendly and happy to help. Go Ape recommends you make reservations before showing up, so we were a little concerned when we walked up. However, they had an immediate opening and we were able to zip line. They gave very clear instructions on what we should bring with us, and more importantly, what we shouldnt bring. Before starting, our guide Banner (sp?), gave detailed instructions and hands-on practice with how to clip onto a line, connect the carriage, which rope(s) to hold while zip lining, etc. We were all very comfortable before being released on our own. Go Ape is a great mixture of obstacle/adventure course and zip line. Definitely a great way to spend the day with family. Go Ape would also be good for team building exercises.

My wife and I visited on a Friday afternoon. When we arrived, they gave us clear instructions and our guides took us to the first step. We felt confident knowing how to use the harness, and had an absolute blast trying all the different zip lines and rope courses. I was comfortable, even though it was a hot day, and pants and a t-shirt, and my wife were leggings with a tank top. When you land after zip lining down, you really land on wood chips. It doesnt hurt, but if you have a shirt you might want to tuck it in. Unless you want wood chips all down your pants.

Had an amazing time at Go Ape, our instructor and safety supervisor named Brian, was hilarious and very helpful. Although it was 90 degrees hot, under the tree shade it felt great. The course was fun and it took us about 2 hours and 30 mins to finish it. There is ladder climbing and bridges made out of wood steps to be crossed and balanced on...expect to get dirty and tired. There are 5 areas and at the beginning of each there is water supplies to stay hydrated. Will definitely come again with other friends. Its both fun and a good workout.

I was so impressed with the staff and customer service approach of this place! I was supervising my two boys and my younger son felt the obstacles were too much for him. One of the staff members joined us on the course and encouraged my son through every step so he was able to complete the stage, to cheers all around. We didnt complete the course, but I was so pleased by all the support and great attitude, not to mention the excellent customer service, that well definitely be back and are recommending to our friends!

It tales 150 mins on average to complete all the activities in the zip line. If you are fast enough then you can wrap up in 90 mins. Few of them are tough enough and not recommended who have spinal issues. Zip line is the best part. The area they have covered this is not that vast and there is a scope that they expand it to the jungle.

Took our 7 year old grandson for his first experience. He loved it all but had some fears. The staff encouraged him continually so he had successes. They were fabulous to him and us. He is already asking when he can go back. Three cheers for everyone there who made this challenge positive for him!!!!!

Went with my oldest son today and had a great time! The staff was very nice and helpful. Im normally terrified of heights and they helped to encourage me and ask me how things were going. Definately being a change of clothes to change into after youre finished. We will definitely be coming back.

Go Apes staff instructor was very responsible for our safety, and he spent lots of time on the guideline. The overall experience was pretty good. It costs energy, and some of the treetop activities were pretty challenging. I like the zip ling the best. (PS: dont wear white clothing!)

Course layout was terrible, zip line landing pads would crash you to the ground, and made of hard chunk mulch. Everyone in our group had bloody backs from the landing areas, and staff was unable to assist with training. Staff was extremely rude to adults and children.

Awesome experience! We had a great time. Great for family and friends. This does require some physical strength but a great workout and being around nature is refreshing. Everyone was very professional. I was able to overcome some height issues. Amazing experience.
