Most thing about this theater are just fine, or are better than average, so thats where Ill start. The building itself is not falling apart, the service was fine, the conecssions and tickets were very competitvely priced, and are actually cheaper than other digital theaters. The restrooms, however, did smell like a port-a-potty. Oh well, not a deal breaker. What ended up ruining the movie experience was the picture. The screen in Auditorium #2 has been damaged and it caused a serious image disturbance. It was right in the middle of the screen and near the top, so it affected quite a bit of the picture and was immediately obvious. Even before the movie started, there was clearly something wrong with the screen, and it could easily be seen from a distance. Such a huge and immediately obvious flaw in projection should be fixed immediately. I know movie screens are fragile and rather expensive, but if youre going to show movies your movies cant look like crap. I have not seen movies in any other auditorium, so hopefully their presentation is better. The savings in tickets and concession will not be enough for me to consider this theater in the future.

Went to the 9:10 showing of the conjuring 2 with my sister and we were already skeptical for obvious reasons and a visit I had had in the past but this was probably by far the worst theater experience Ive ever had. They did not check ID for a rated R movie so needless to say there were a room full of children (teens) that would not be quite, people yelling out things at the screen, a whole family of people showed up once the movie was getting started of about 20 people ranging between the ages of 25 and newborn YES newborn babies and 3 and unders. Me and my sister ended up needing a refund and the lady had full attitude because I didnt want to sit through a movie I paid for and not hear it. Needless to say just drive the extra distance to a better quality theater I would never take anyone here.

The ticket prices are reasonable but the snack and drink prices are beyond ridiculous! We never buy snacks here. We always make sure we eat before we come. And they need two separate lines. One to sell tickets. One for snacks/drinks. This would make the wait for tickets a lot quicker. Every time I have been here they only have two or three people working, even on the weekends. Sometimes I see the manager behind the counter but he never helps serve customers, he is always cleaning or something.That should be done when the line isnt about to be out the door. As a manager, you should step up and help or hire more employees. They also should clean their theaters more often. Floors are always sticky from spilled soda or WHATEVER. Ew.

I have a good and bad experiences at Georgetown. My husband and i have been going to the theater for several years. Most of our experiences have been good. We enjoy the snacks and the reasonable prices. Happy to see they brought back the affordable popcorn and drunk combo. We like the recent upgrades where you can purchase additional food in and outside of the theaters. I like the comfort of theaters. The only complaint is they over salt snacks and they have a lot of senior clientale. They are a little slow on service. Sometimes understaffed so wait is to long and theatets are cleaned effeciently.

Worst possible movie going experience ever. I recommend any other place before this place. Movie started 20 minutes late, when I initially asked the manager, she said Ill take care of it. the movie then restarted without sound. After that, I just wanted a refund. The manager said they cant issue a refund because its not their fault but the computers. That is an incredibly lame excuse to give the customer in any circumstance. Outside of that, the theater is dated, the customer service was non-existent, and the theater itself was filthy. I should have done better research beforehand.

Please explain to me why you would have Showtimes at 1pm, but not open until 1? Doesnt make much sense. Most people who go see movies show up early as to get their tickets, snacks, etc. So here I sit with my family in the car waiting until you open your doors. Got in, paid, good prices. Orderd popcorn that was stale and cold, clearly from the night before. I mean the popcorn machine wasnt even on. And since doors didnt open until almost 1 (12:55), the movie did not start at 1, closer to 130, ridiculous! The only reason I give it 2 stars is because it was clean and prices were good.

The movie started 30 minutes late! And their attitude about is was basically "well, thats how it is." They didnt sincerely apologize for the inconvenience or even offer coupons for concessions as an apology. If this is their approach to customer service and the movie theater business, then Im not surprised that the building looks like it will soon close. The quirks of this being a privately owned theater, as opposed to a chain, would have been charming and forgivable if it had been accompanied with stellar customer service.

An OK movie theater not the biggest or most impressive but the price point is starting to turn me away back when it was 5:50 for a matinee even $6 not bad now its getting a little pricey for anybody if Im going to spend 40 bucks Id rather it be in a more premium setting plenty of theaters a lot bigger and better than this but if its close to you Id go

Very ill informed staff. Denied tickets to a show saying it is not being played. Ended up watching another movie only to find out that the movie we wanted to see is actually being screened. They just didnt load the show in the system. When reported to the manager she said oh sorry and walked away. Terrible!!! management. Very Disappointed

Bare bones theater. They had buckets in the lobby to catch water leaks. Popcorn full of husks and looks dark like they dont clean popcorn maker, it wasnt burnt just strange. If you want to see a movie but dont need to see it on the extra large screen than this is the place. Owner evidently dont care to put money into maintaining it.

This place is pretty great! Seems up-and-coming but tickets are super cheap, staff was really sweet, theater itself was good - clean, good seats, good picture and sound. There was also a nice security guard on duty! Dont miss the kitchen/bar area with drinks and food - the bam bam chicken tacos were AMAZING. So overall Id go back.

More expensive than nicer theaters 15mins away. Blown speakers and super small screens. Ticket and food costs about 15% higher than AMC Traders Point just down the road. Staff was nice and it was clean, but do yourself a favor and skip this overpriced and underperforming Theater.

Staff has always been friendly. I recently forgot my wallet there and they kept it safe until I went back for it, Im so thankful for that. :) The ticket price is very low, but the food is expensive just like any other theatre get over it.
