These folks did an amazing gesture for me! I went after purchasing tickets using the gift card I purchased online. And when I got there, they had a note on the door (I was there to see a matinee, so it was early.) stating that they were closed due to plumbing issues. (Apparently the whole destin Commons area was shut down due to this issue- at least the food places or any place that would need customer using their facilities to its full use) But I ended up waiting to speak to someone because my tickets were bought online and for that day and time. So after a two hour long wait in the heat I explained my issue and see if I could reschedule another day, instead the manager hooked me up with IMAX tickets to see suicide squad in *3D for free!!! I must say I havent had any complaints with them and I would happily return on a normal basis if going to ANY movie theatre wasnt so expensive. The food pricing seems a bit overwhelmingly high for two drinks and some nachos would cost someone about the same as an admission price, normal rate, for one person. And I just think thats too much for anyone, on a normal budget. And a person working a typical min wage, 9-5 job. If the pricing on the concession wasnt so high, I would probably be more satisfied and reluctant to going often. Other than that, my last experience with them was a pleasant surprise. Good things come to those who know patience.

Nice, clean theater. We found parking easily at the meter but theres plenty of parking in the lots as well. I almost choked when she told me it was $51 for one adult ticket and three tickets for my little kids (imax 3D). I anticipate hefty concession prices but the ticket prices came as a shock. I dont really get the imax- it wasnt any better or bigger than other theaters Ive been too. Otherwise its a nice theater and we will be back- but definitely during the day to take advantage of the cheaper tickets before 4pm. I took off another star after our last visit after the concession guy refused to give me a third cardboard box for my kids popcorn. This was after I bought a large drink, large popcorn and two candy items, along with admission for four. He insisted he could give only two cardboard boxes which I thought was really lame. Maybe they will be better next time. On the way out we saw they have a bar inside the theater. Its very nice just outside the theater as well with lots of shopping and dining options.

My wife and I wanted to see the Suicide Squad 10 pm showing. We got there at about 10:06 and all the doors were locked and lights off. One of the employees came out and said they were closed and not selling anymore tickets. That was upsetting, considering the fact that we werent that late (previews were still playing Im sure of it). We live in Navarre and Id actually already seen the show a couple days ago with my kids but was coming back because my wife wanted to see it. I feel they couldve sold us a ticket and let us see the movie. I think they were trying to close up as soon as possible and shut things down sooner than they shouldve. If this is the type of service we will get at Destin Commons AMC, then maybe we will just go to FWB movie theaters instead.

Worse theater I have been to in years. When I got there, line down the steps out in the rain, about 15 minutes just to buy tickets. 2 of 3 computer kiosk are down, 15 minutes there as well. Get in, order popcorn and drink, bring popcorn, then the smart as@#$ high school kid says drinks are here, pointing to something I had no clue what it was, after that went on for couple more times, she comes around and points to hand written note saying they have no soda. How can that happen? Restroom was a pig pin. When movie started they left house lights on for 10 minutes, then movie brightness was way off, so dark you couldnt see half the movie. Horrid experience, be warned they are a tourist theater run by children, and no one cares.

If you get a stubs card, the movie tickets are discounted on Tuesdays. The theater is located in a tourist destination so on rainy days it will be crowded. The previous comments about being out of soda are because the county put a restriction on the tap water because of the heavy rains, so its not the theaters fault. For the area, this is the nicest theater around. Its a large theater and has nice, big bathrooms. The theater rooms vary in size but the all of the screens are nice. Seating is good. Snacks and drinks are expensive, but thats expected. Eat before you go in. The employees are always nice. Sometimes they are under staffed. Theres a bar inside which is very cool.

I went to this theater often. I was always treated well and enjoyed going until I started getting cut off in line by Premier Pass members. We arrived early to see Arrival, anticipating a ticket line and a concession line. We were cut off by Premier Pass memebers enough times to take us from being early for the movie to being late. After getting cut off in the concession line several times, we decided that we had enough. We got a refund and left. Ill raise my rating to 5 stars and continue going to this theater again when they get rid of the Premier Pass. Dont go to this theater during busy times without the Premier Pass - I refuse to buy it.

Wonderful theater. Very clean. We went to see Guardians of the galaxy 2 in 3D. Tickets are high here over 15.00 a person. Only thing I would say was downfall was the volume in here was extremely too loud! Everyone in there was having to put tissues in their ears or hold their ears shut the entire time. I guess no one wanted to get up and tell management because no one wanted to miss any part of the movie which is understandable. But they need to be doing rounds at that theatre to make sure everything is ok.. sound, picture, etc. other than that I love this theatre and will be going back when I visit Destin.

Overall a good Movie Theater vs Sun Plaza & United Artist. The seats are REALLY comfy(slight recline, oversized & adjustable arm rest), great picture & sound. Was a bit $pricey$.....but I guess what movie theater isnt these days. STANDARD tickets for 4 people (1-adult, 2-teens & 1-toddler) came to $32+ Hot dog, french fries, popcorn, nachos, 3 candy and 2 drinks came to $40+ Ridiculous!!!???? Theater was clean and the young girl(teen)at the snack bar was very nice BUT she was all by herself?? She can only do so much AMC!!!
