We went to watch “Why Him”, purchased tickets at the ticket window a bit early to avoid lines and had no hassles, nice staff, although the tiny marquee sign with the show times posted is way too tiny to read unless you are standing in front of the window. We purchased popcorn and coke. The lobby and restrooms were clean. The movie was great. Afterwards, we couldn’t find a trashcan that wasn’t overflowing so we had no choice but to strategically place our trash on top of the heap. Not sure how often they show movies that are current (meaning still at the regular theaters) but we had a great time, staff was very nice, the place was clean overall (except the full trash cans at the end of the night) – good deal for a $3 movie ticket! We will be back.

I happened to be in the area and googled "movie theaters near me." This was the nearest result, so I stopped in. I went to pay for my ticket and the customer service representative said, "That will be two twenty five." I looked up from digging in my purse and said "Pardon me?" "Two twenty five," she repeated. I laughed in disbelief as I paid her the $2.25. "Were a budget movie theater," she explained. The only other experience Ive had with a budget movie theater is one that shows movies that have been out for months and are no longer in regular theaters. This theater was clean, had current movies, and was a great price for a Saturday afternoon!

We wanted to see a movie while we were in Greenwood this afternoon but we didnt want to spend a lot of money so we went and saw Boss Baby at Movies 8. It cost $2.50 a piece to get in so that was great. The concessions are full price but we were more willing to pay since the box office was so cheap. The popcorn was very good and the Diet Coke was also very good from the fountain. The only thing we didnt like was the outdated theatre. I an so used to stadium seating now that it is very weird to see anything that isnt like that. We will go back to Movies 8 the next time we want to see a movie in the Greenwood area.

This place is absolutely amazing when you realize what you are paying for. Most of the movie tickets are a buck a piece and you get some great audio and visuals to follow. Concessions prices are a bit high but that is always to be expected of for a business who needs to make money. As for the movies they are great as well and are cheaper to see because they have been out for a bit already in major theaters. So if there is a movie you want to see I would absolutely wait until they have it showing here! Besides that everything was fantastic.

Decided to go out for a movie instead of renting. Huge mistake. Womens restroom filthy beyond disgusting. Theatre floors excessively sticky. The six dollar coke was flat. The worst of all ... We could hear the movie next door playing louder then the movie we were watching . When I commented to the staff on how I couldnt hear the movie I paid for but could hear the movie next to us ... They responded with laughter. This theater has gone down hill greatly and I would never recommend it to another person.

Unfortunately a bad visit. Although Ive been to this theatre many times over the years and enjoyed every visit, the experience just wasnt the same today. The seating is worn and very uncomfortable. What I believe to be bed bugs chewed on me for 30 minutes until I decided to leave. The manager was very polite and concerned, notifying me they just sprayed for bed bugs 1 month ago. I received a refund and left in disappointment never intending to return.

We go every week . I love the popcorn and drink refill and the price for these is a little less than other movie cinemas. I think that the price you pay for the movie offsets all of this. My husband and I can go on a date night for around $20.00. Great prices for families and they have a variety of movies (usually something for all ages). It is a little dated, but, still fun !

Cant beat $1.90 regular admission, $1.50 Tuesday admission, or $1.15 family night (groups of 3+ on Monday night). Staff is friendly, film selection is excellent. A bit hard to find if youre using Google Maps as your GPS; look behind the trees on your left.

Even if the food and drinks are extremely expensive, you will still pay less for your good and ticket than you would at a regular priced theater. Screens are small but hey youre only going to pay 2.50 for a ticket. Decently clean. Not a bad deal!

Its a good bang for your buck. Food is ocer priced but tickets are cheap which is good if you have a family! Staff is usually friendly. Smells like burnt popcorn all the time but some people enjoy those smells. Anyways enjoyable non the less

I love it! The staff is always friendly. They are always helpful. The facilities are pretty decent and if you factor the price in, you cannot beat this theater. Off course it could be better but nothing to complaint really.

Best prices for people like me who seldom care to spend top dollar to see a movie as soon as it hits theaters. Takes a little time for new movies to get here, but they usually have the ones I have wanted to see

Cant argue with $1.50 for a movie. Movies 8 shows films that have finished their mainstream theater run. Good for a cheap date or for people like my wife & I who tend to run behind the times with films.

Very fun experience, especially with the year round refillable popcorn and drink buckets. Sometimes there is not much that is good out, but almost all of the time there are great movies out.

Great place to take the family for a movie without paying the outrageous ticket prices. Decor is a little dated (hasnt changed at all from the 90s) but the price is what sets it apart.

Theatre doesnt smell fresh. Sometimes it seems to be that the sound system can be still better. One good thing for Indians is that they have a chance of watching Indian movies here.

Nostalgia at its finest. I love how this place hasnt changed since I was a kid back in the 90s. Never change. Keep the roots going strong and keep dominating the day!

Needless to say but best price ever, seats are comfortable, no hassel, just get you ticket and go set down, air is comfortable, rest rooms are clean, good deal.

Great discount theater. Ive gone to about a dozen movies so far here. Once, the movie froze with like 5 minutes left, so that was frustrating.

Cheapest snacks and food in the area for a theatre. Its a smaller theatre but everyone is polite and friendly, and the seats are comfortable

Crappy seats, but you cannot beat the price for a relatively new movie. It is especially great with little kids, during the matinee hours.
