Theater is great, but dont buy any Starbucks drinks. The concession stand employees dont know how to make them. I ordered two vinti caramel frappucinos. They didnt know what vinti meant, and asked how many ounces did I want. When they handed them to me, they were completely white. It was very liquid and runny, and tasted like a cup of half and half. I dont think they even put any coffee in it. I told them I couldnt accept those, because they were nothing like a Starbucks frappucino. They said well they are Starbucks products, they just dont know how to make them. My suggestion is, unless you have a barista there who knows how to make them, dont offer them for sale! At least tell people you dont have a clue about making them beforehand. I felt like a douche for not accepting them, but I couldnt let it go, they are too expensive to just accept that. They did let me get two cokes instead, but I think it is crazy to have a great big Starbucks menu up there, but no one knows how to make anything.

Back in the late 90s and early 00s this was a wonderful theater. The past few times have been a lousy experience. The staff really have no clue what they are talking about "Is this showing of the Hobbit in 48fps or traditional 24?" "Which one are you wanting to attend?" "24 frames per second, since 48fps looks like a soap opera." "Its 24." Nope. They dont know. That is just one example but I have 5 other examples as well. Over the years Tinseltown has been the go-to location for special limited edition showings.. One night only etc.. Almost all of those have been mired by technical issues. One time showing of The Rolling Stones Live In Texas 78.. Where we could hear the blockbuster movie next door louder than we could hear the concert film. Its not fun to see a movie when you have to be the one to run to the lobby and report a technical issue to management.

Went to see kong. Had not been to a movie in about 6 months. Had breast cancer. My first night out for a night with my husband. Well, I guess that people think that they should look at their cell phones during the movie. My night out was ruined. I did not get to see most of the movie, because I was watching light from a cell phone. This was not a young person, it was a grown woman. I held my voice, because I did not want to ruin anyone else time at the movie. My husband went to complain to the teenage manager. He said that he could not do anything about it. I have survived breast cancer. But rude people I have a problem with. Shame on these people. Shame on tinsel town for their lack of concern. We will not be back!!!! I will make sure I let all my friends and family know not to go there. Tinsel town does not care.

Absolute horrible experience, and will not be returning. My family and I went to go see a movie, and were happy because this place had great reviews. We get into the movie, and the visual isnt working at all, someone complained, and they turned off the audio and just visual and played radio music to make up over it. Another person complained and they finally had fixed it, but everything was fuzzy and blurry with the lights still on. We asked for a refund for our tickets and the food we had purchased to enjoy the movie and management refused to help us. Id give a zero if I could.

I booked online tickets for Dilwale on 18 th for 9.30 pm show, I was told its sold out even after vending machines were vending tickets and I even saw people rushing out of theatre room wanting a refund because they had tickets but no seats. How can cinemark Tinseltown be so disorganized? Why would you sell tickets beyond your seating capacity?cant u allocate seats when an user books tickets with you?i dint wanted to miss next day show and hence I came early and whoa to my surprise the theatre room is still with used smoothly bottles, Coke cans.Worst ever movie experience!!!!!

When I came to Tinsletown I had a misconception about a certain deal and was going to end up missing my movie. I was completely in the wrong and should have missed it. However, the staff was more the accommodating and helped me through it and got me in just in time. They could have sent me to the road and said too bad which I could not have been angry over, instead they helped me out and were very helpful. I had no particular opinion about this theatre before but I was very glad about how they went over and beyond.

This place is quite customer friendly, clean, and the theater screens are very nice. The XD theater is fantastic, however dont pay the extra money if you arent going to go see a movie worthy of the amazing screen. For example: I saw "Minions" there and it wasnt as good of an experience as someone I talked to who saw "Jurassic World" in the same theater. Be smart and dont waste your money. Also, the food is quite expensive so think ahead. Even with these minor flaws its a worthwhile place to go see a new blockbuster.

We saw Beauty and the Beast last Saturday here! They had tickets an hour before the movie started! Friendly movie clerks, they dont have the computers screens to buy tickets yourself which is a plus! Its more like when I was younger how you buy tickets which we love! They have lots of snack and drink options! They have combos as well. They even have Beauty and the Beast combo with small drink cup and popcorn bucket for $7.50! They also have Icees! Awesome Theatre and seating! Clean too!

Very terrible experience, were stalked to bathroom after being confronted very negatively and left unsure of what was even happening. Were told to leave when just asking for which auditorium (they didnt have the sign for Annabelle they had Planet of the Apes up) and then were escorted out after being nice and cordial the whole time. Went back in and demanded refund after being told we would not receive one, very rude people and horrible experience.

Tinseltown Movie Theatre Sells Stale Popcorn. Bacteria Build up. My husband I returned our popcorn Sunday morning at Tinseltown because it tasted stale. I told the attendant that the popcorn was stale, he says we are not aloud to sell stale popcorn, that it was fresh. If Tinseltown do not sell stale Popcorn then I strongly suggest that your popcorn makers be given a good wash with a bacteria killer, there must be bacteria building up in them.

The movie theaters are magnificent as well as the seating, they offer a wide range of food and even an arcade, which is hard to find these days at the least. The only problem is your food is high priced. I feel bad sneaking dollar candy in but at 5 dollars a bag of candy Im sorry thats just being smart. If you cant make a profit without having to charge that much for candy maybe you should consider closing.

Still a decent movie theatre, just needs a good scrubbing. Tinseltown was (if Im not mistaken) one of the first theaters in the Louisville area with stadium seating. It now has several modern competitors with state of the art facilities and expanded services. If youre just looking to see a film with none of the frills and fancy food, then Tinseltown is all you need. Just wash your hands before you leave.
