Staff Interaction: Reviews indicate that the staff's ability to multitask and delegate tasks is lacking. Customers have reported waiting for extended periods at the counter without being acknowledged.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the theater is another concern. Customers have reported finding popcorn and empty buckets in the seats and aisles.
Technical Issues: In the Xtreme theater, there have been reports of screen glitches, including flickering and distracting visual artifacts.
Waiting Lines: There are reports of disorganized and crowded waiting lines, especially for sold-out shows. This has led to dissatisfaction among customers who arrived early to secure good seats.
Concession Stand Timing: The concession stand reportedly closes shortly after the last movie starts, leaving late-night moviegoers without the option for refills.
Ticket Prices: The theater offers a Tuesday discount day with $6.00 tickets before 6 pm. However, the Xtreme theater tickets are a bit higher, and customers question the value due to technical issues.
Concession Prices: Customers have mentioned that the snacks are reasonably priced. There are refillable drink and popcorn deals, but the timing of the concession stand's closure affects the utility of these deals.
Movie Selection: The theater offers a variety of movies, including options in their Xtreme theater for enhanced sound and picture quality.
Loyalty Program: The theater has a loyalty program, and some customers have earned free movies through it.
Proximity to Other Amenities: The theater is located close to various eateries, making it convenient for a dinner and a movie night.
Parking: There is ample parking available, although some customers have noted that the entrance is not well-marked.
Loyalty and Customer Retention: Some customers have been visiting the theater for years and have spent significant amounts on tickets and concessions. However, recent experiences have led them to consider other options.
Management: There are reports of managerial staff not being customer-friendly, which has affected the theater's reputation among loyal customers.
NCG Cinemas in Acworth is known for its variety of movie options and its Xtreme theater, which offers enhanced sound and picture quality. However, it seems that the theater needs to address several issues to maintain its customer base effectively.

I would like to say yesterday was on off day... but it wasnt one... at all. This location needs to learn how to multi-task and delegate. We stood at the counter for 6 minutes, no one else was in line. One person was receiving 2 slushies and a pretzel. There was 2 people behind the counter. A girl who was refilling a popcorn bin inside of the pop corn machine (from a trash can full of kernels) and the guy who was giving tickets. Neither welcomed me or said Il be right with you. My nephew and I stood there for 3 minutes before the guy said Ill be right with you. He continued to fix the pretzel and the slushies. 1.) Why was the girl not doing this. Was refilling the bin that pressing? You have 2 customers in front of you and you are ignoring them. The girl didnt smile or look up once. The guy eventually finishes heating a pretzel in the microwave and comes to give us or ticket. We were going to see Jupiter Ascending at 1:10, we got to the theater at 1:05 so 1:11 we were finally able to buy the ticket. The lights were off and we had to find a seat in Theater 6. It was DISGUSTING. There was popcorn in the seats and isles. Empty popcorn buckets and drinks in the isles as well. After we find a semi cleaned up spot we sit down to notice the curtains are covering the sides of the screen. No one came in to move them back. I had to get up and walk out to the middle section to ask the concessions guy (who was the only good thing about this visit) to come and move the curtains. He apologized and said he would be right there, and he did exactly that. (He was a black gentleman in the main section, not the Xtreme section where we had the beginning of the problems.) The girl should have fixed the concession items for the guy and refilled the pop corn while the guy continued to allow other guests to purchase tickets... and your cleaners are not doing their jobs. I am really considering going back to AMC and Regal where they too have redone their theater. the extra few bucks might be worth it if i dont have to sit in 10lbs of butter and popcorn and other filth. I am a loyalty member and even earned another free movie with this visit... seriously debating ever coming here again.

I spend A LOT of money at this theater and was super unhappy with my experience tonight among others. The line for the 9:45 movie Split was sold out. The large group I was with purchased tickets early and arrived at the theater very early. Only after waiting for the theater to finish being cleaned were we instructed to wait on a (large and horridly crowded) line in the lobby. We purposely arrived early to avoid something like that and had no idea until the last minute to wait on this line, meanwhile friends of ours were able to take the back hallway into the theater without waiting on a line and they arrived long after us. If there is going to be ridiculous, inconvenient restrictions on customers then they should at least be organized. I am now sitting in the very front row of the theater unable to see anything for a movie I arrived an hour early to see not knowing of the line I had to wait on. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Ill drive 10 minutes down the road to Regal or AMC from now on.

Ive been coming here for ages with friends and family, and its pretty much always been a really good experience. However, during the past week I saw Dunkirk in the Xtreme theater twice, and both times I and my friends noticed a bunch of really distracting glitches on the screen. The first time I saw it, it wasnt that bad, but the second time (tonight) there were near-constant glitches. The left side of the screen kept flickering green, and there were white dots and what looked like glitched subtitles that kept appearing on the screen for a frame or two. These definitely werent part of the movie, because I remembered seeing them only during a specific part the first time I saw it, and the second time they were everywhere. Normally, I would highly recommend people see movies like Dunkirk in NCGs Xtreme theater, because in the past its always been really nice, but there are obviously some technical issues going on with it and that makes the extra cost unjustified.

I love this theater and would have given it 5 stars if it hadnt been for 1 thing. When we went to the 11:55pm movie and we bought 3 of their $15 refillable drink and popcorn deals plus 2 additional small popcorns along with other various candies nobody told us that 5 minutes after our movie started they would be closing the concession stand down so we were unable 2 refill our popcorn bowls they even turned off the butter 4the popcorn so we couldnt even freshen our popcorn up. I definitely wouldnt have purchased a more expensive refillable item if I knew I wouldnt b able 2 refill it and I get that we r the late last show 4the nite and u wanna clean up so u can get out of there and go home but n that case let the person thats buying the refillable items know that they wont b able 2 refill their stuff. At least they left the coke machines on so we could refill those but they were pretty watered down. If they fixed that I would definitely give them a 5 star rating!

We live very close to this theater, so it is our first choice for a movie. The Tuesday discount day is great, $6.00 for a ticket before 6pm works well for those who can manage it. The staff is friendly, seats are comfy and the snacks are not so expensive you need to spend a weeks pay for a night out. They also have a recent addition, an Extreme theater that shows 3D and 2D movies with enhanced sound and picture quality. The tickets for these movies are a bit higher ($2 or $3 per ticket) but for certain types of films (sci-fi, epic war stories, etc) the extra is worth it. They have a loyalty program and a gift card deal that includes dinner for 2 at some of the local eateries as well. Lots of parking and easy to find with gps...the entrance is off Cobb Pkwy with no big signage to point the way. Lots of good choices nearby for dinner before or after...great for date night!

NCG Acworth We have been coming here for the last 2 years. To put it in perspective, weve spent $197.50 (I did the math) at this theatre in the last month alone. NEVER AGAIN. We try to bring a small Tupperware bowl so that my son can share the popcorn without reaching over my wife or I. Apparently, this is prohibited and considered "outside food or drink." Let me be clear, the bowl was empty and we used it to split the popcorn we bought at the theatre. The "Manager" Jose Reyes, took great delight making my wife throw it out and thought it was hilarious that I asked for the General Managers name and phone number. It is unfortunate that NCG would promote someone who clearly could care less if they retained a formerly loyal and lucrative customer. I wonder how many other households spend $200 a month? However many they had, it is one less now.
