Regal has the best screens for viewing movies. I have come to expect the expensive food prices so the prices here do not surprise me. The seats are not as comfortable as the ones at the Dulles Town Center. This location had extremely long lines when I was there. Regal in general could learn a thing or two from AMC. For instance their reward program is terrible! They require an app to redeem your rewards. With AMC all you have to do is give your phone number and you instantly save money and earn rewards. When you have earned rewards with AMC you are usually asked at the counter if you would like to use them in the form of CASH. This is not the case with Regal. You actually have to use an app to redeem rewards with them and the rewards are really not worth it. AMC Rewards save you money on Fandango and give you an upgrade on your soda and popcorn everytime and occasionally throw in a free popcorn just for being a member and also let their reward customers skip the wait lines. One more thing that bothers me is the flimsy trays. Bring back the carry trays. I do recall Regal having those once upon a time. I rate this theater a 4 of 5 because it is not a bad location. The staff was nice but under staffed for the crowd that night.The lines were long but I prepare for this and show up 45 minutes early everytime. If it were not for the nuances based on Poor Decisions the Corporate Executives make at Regal this place would get a 5 out of 5 from me. I am sure they will get there eventually. Until then I am AMC man by choice and Regal visitor when the choice is not mine.

This is a TOP of the line movie theater in the area and is much cheaper in price then some of the VIP tickets at other theaters. Full bar, above average food selections and ASSIGNED SEATING in lazy boy style recliners... No more fighting for the best seats as you can reserve the exacts seats you prefer and you dont have late comers stepping on your toes. Seats are comfortable especially compared to Regal Kingstowne Stadium 16 and AMC Hoffman Center 22 in Alexandria. The theater has been open since October 2014, so if you see any reviews before this... they should not count. The showings are geared more for Adults... kids movies are showing at Kingstowne. I have encountered several people sneaking into movies claiming our seats... If you want to sneak I suggest going to Kingstown or Hoffman.

Poor Regal Cinemas at Kingstowne...it was the crown jewel of theaters for five or six years, until the "armchair warrior" theaters opened up a few miles down Franconia-Springfield Parkway at the newly resurrected, "lipstick-on-a-pig" Springfield Town Center. The Kingstowne Regal theaters are still a great location to catch movies...perhaps especially now, since the hoity-toity STC armchair theaters have introduced some competition, and the crowds (and especially, the TEENAGERS) arent so rampant at the Kingstowne theaters. As long as you dont mind your shoes sticking to the floor -- and what movie theater does that NOT happen in?? -- youll be just fine here.

I used to come here all the time when I lived in the area around Kingstowne. There are no IMAX screens here, but Ive never seen a quality issue with video or audio here. I came here recently for the Regal Summer Express movies deal and watched Despicable Me 2 -- tickets were $1 a piece! Awesome deal to bring the kids to the movies, especially the little ones. Also in a good location to grab a bite to eat before or afterward the movie, or walk around the shops to stretch your legs.

Very family friendly area, seats are comfy. Generally have good movies and a variety. Concessions are SUPER slow that you could miss a movie or the previews because its just a bunch of teenagers that dont take their jobs or other peoples time very seriously, and the prices at the concessions are waaaayyyh over price. Once you get in the theater and get over the person walking get through 3x with the red light, then its a great experience.

Only choose this Cinema if you like long lines. On a Thursday evening there was a 15 minute line to get tickets and then a 25 minute line to get snacks. I am actually writing this while waiting in line. I arrived 30 min before my movie was supposed to start and it is now 12 min passed the start time of the movie and I am standing in line instead of enjoying the film. Confused about how this is considered a good way to run a theater.

Ive been going to movies here for a couple years. Recently they stopped running the air conditioner before the movie starts and for about the last 20-30 minutes of it. The result is an uncomfortable hot theater. The last time I was there it actually got so hot that I got sick. There are plenty of theaters in the area that stay a comfortable temperature, so I wont be going back here.

My cellphone was missing. It likely fell from my bag when I placed the bag on the empty seat beside me as I sat down to wait for Ghostbusters to start. I kept getting things from my bag and I think my phone got wedged into a seat corner or fell to the floor.Lucky for me, the night cleaning crew found it and returned it to Theater front desk/customer assistance which was very helpful.

Nice and cleans. Several theaters and movies to choose from. best time to come is in the middle of the week you do not have to deal with so many people. the only negative Bing that I have to complain about is the expensive popcorn and snacks. It is truly ridiculous especially when you dont need a jumbo popcorn. However, the smaller options are valued even higher.

I find this theatre to be above average in most respects. Ive always been happy with the cleanliness, service, pictures, wait times and food. As everyone expects, the prices can be a bit much, especially if you like to go to the movies frequently. There are also nice nearby restaurants and shops.

Never coming ever again to any regal..they support liberal fake news...we bought a ticket..and had to watch a liberal agenda commercial regarding fake global warming..how dare u make patrons pay to watch ur view...enough is enough ...once again...this industry over reaching...this is not the place.

Tickets expensive. Seats uncomfortable. Snacks priced out of this world! For a family of 4 to see a movie and enjoy popcorn and drinks almost $80. Seems pricey for just a movie. Even tried the upgraded seating, it seemed just as uncomfortable with hard leather seats instead of cloth.

The movies theater is fine for watching a movie, good equipment, clean facilities, things like that. But if youre a fan of good movie popcorn you wont find it here. If youre lucky, the top half of your order will be fresh. Everything below that starts to taste like old barbecue.

We go to this theater every other week, and have been for years. the floors are exceptionally clean...always. Staff is always friendly. You Will enjoy watching movies here. Plenty of parking in the garage below. No I dont work for Regal. But wanted to Share my experiences.
