0 starts perhaps.... On Sunday, March 6th, my Wife and I took our kids to Max Bowl in hopes of having a great time while celebrating our oldest sons 8th birthday. However, when we ordered our food, our family fun day quickly turned into my sons birthday being ruined by the incredibly unprofessional staff members Amber and Carly. We ordered our food (a Coke, a pitcher of lemonade, mozzarella sticks and supreme nachos) and specifically asked for our nachos to only have chips, meat and cheese because our son has a tomato allergy. When we received our food, we noticed lettuce and tomato on our nachos. We told Carly our nachos were wrong, and instead of correcting the order, she could just take it back. Carly told us she would need manager approval and that she would be back. About 5 minutes later Carly comes back with the same nachos we told her we didnt want. She proceeds to tell us that we would have to pay for the nachos and that we could not send them back. We asked Carly if we can speak to her manager and Amber came to our lane. Amber told us we didnt tell Carly how we wanted our nachos and basically called us liars. At that point we told her we were NOT going to pay for the nachos, and we wanted a refund for the laser tag and sky walk games we purchased. Amber argued with me, refusing to take the nachos back and give us a refund. Amber was still arguing with me about the nachos at this time. She then walked over to where my wife was and the other young lady who was helping us. Amber again told us we were going to have to pay for the nachos, My wife told her no because that is not what we ordered and Amber told her that is considered theft of service and threatened to call the police. Eventually, Amber took the nachos off our ticket, we paid for the rest of the food (by the way, Carly didnt give me back correct change the first time - she shorted me 10 dollars) we were refunded for the activities we didnt participate in and we left very disappointed and angry. This was our first and definitely last visit to Max Bowl. I have never been treated this way. Carly was rude and had a sour attitude. Amber was rude, condescending and had the nerve to threaten us - all in front of my 8 year old son whos birthday she completely ruined. Treat your paying customers better - we will never come here again and we will tell everyone we know about the awful service we received.

It was the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service by far. The Manager over the Cafe Amber was completely unprofessional and vvvveeeerrrryyyyy rude. She seem as if she didnt care about nothing or no one. I was understanding when she said she had gotten a new system and was trying to figure out the kinks okay cool. We literally waited over an hour to get our food which by the way still NEVER came, then on top of that when getting a refund she didnt even pay attention to the full amount she gave me back which wasnt the correct amount it was way less that want I paid. I even apologise to her for members of my party that even cursed at her for just being so nasty to us. But to top it off my sister ordered again from the Cafe and her order was over 30mins and that still NEVER came. SMH I truly hope that this is not something that will happen again. Because we have fun when it can to the arcade area and the bowling, but good greef the lady was just so nasty.

Our review is specifically for the bar not the activities. They do have a good sized arcade, two pool tables, shuffleboard and table hockey as well as some climbing thing so there is plenty to do if you dont want to bowl. Unless youre hungry...eat somewhere else. The bar service is not friendly or attentive and the prices are pretty expensive. The kitchen has zero sense of urgency or quality control. Three times, my husband and one of his co-workers have tried to order lunch there and with less than a dozen folks in the alley, burgers and fries still took 30-45 minutes. On my visit, we ordered a flat bread pizza and nachos which took nearly an hour to get out. The flatbread was decent and served hot, but the nachos had been made first and left to sit and die while the pizza cooked. Recommended to eat beforehanf and not be thirsty while youre there.

We were looking for something to do with the kids on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We hadnt been to Max Bowl since the remodel but heard great things about the renovations and improvements so we decided to give it a try. When we got there we were suprised at the major improvements that had been done. The kids loved arcade plus the laser tag and sky walk! We all bowled---the prices for everything were very reasonable and the kids had a GREAT time. Not to mention we the adults had a wonderful time bowling as well! The service was great--the staff was all very helpful, attentive and courteous. The only downside was the number of bowling lanes available. However we now have another family activity option to enjoy-Glad we chose to go today.

Visited this place for the first time This Saturday. My first problem was the staff behind the bar, at the least acknowledge your customers...the drinks were watered down, and taste like dish water. After my game of bowling I stopped back by the bar to ask for my receipts from having ordered while bowling and nothing could be produced nor was one offered at the time of paying my waiter... I mean sounds like no big deal but I keep receipts for records. I give this establishment 2 stars only because of the bowling, games and music were ok. Customer service needs to be brought back into a lot of these businesses until then i think Ill stick to Main Event for my bowling and entertainment purposes.

We had my sons birthday party there today and had a wonderful time! We chose the Laser tag birthday and all the kids enjoyed themselves. The party manager accommodated us in to a private room and where very flexible with the schedule. We had a bunch of 5 year olds who where hungry and they adjusted our time to eat to a bit earlier. I appreciate the flexibility and our party host was very helpful and sweet. The facility itself is very nice with a great selection in the arcade games, the laser tag section is new, the bathrooms are clean. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend it to our friends. Thank you again Max Bowl!

I visit here for the first time last Saturday it was awesome until. I walked up to the bar to get a drink to found two guys at the bar drunk and screaming and yelling at the bartender and that poor sweet girl Amber I believe thats her name she was crying her poor eyes out. I believe those guys was mangers I cant remember their names but they had on Maxs shirts it was disgusting and made me sick to my stomach how they where yelling at there employees and customers. I will never be coming back here also long as those two ass holes are there. I felt very uncomfortable what kind of business allow their management to drink on the job...
