I was born in row 7 of theater 3 on July 18, 1999. The movie? The Matrix? The mood? Tense. Usually I like to buy two small popcorns and a large Diet Coke for myself when attending this extremely well-curated theater (Why do buy two smalls you ask? Haha! I finish one bag then use the empty container as a receptacle for all those nasty unpopped corn kernels). Most of the corn kernels get popped at this theater so dont worry and they are not stingy with the butter. I like to attend the films at this "dollar theater" (the tickets are $1.50 in price) alone on most days, but on more than one occasion I have attneded with a date and the first time we saw Mix Up and then the second time it was Ghost Busters the new one in 3D. I met one of them at another thearter oddlly enough haha! Anyway...where was I....I love this theater and I truly came into my own in its corridors and hallways and aisle and the bathrooms are sometimes dirty so consider yourself warned!!! Haha anyway. The theater 2.5 stars, but based on that I think it is a good value I give it four stars. Ive been going there for years. Although not pristine or state of the art, Its reasonably clean and it just reminds you of the way movie theaters were twenty years ago. there is no stadium seating or high tech sound systems. Sure, I wouldnt want to go see Avatar or some other special effects powerhouse there, but most movies are quite enjoyable there. The audience is fine-consisting mostly of families that think spending $100 on "movie night" is just plain stupid. In times like these a lot of us are being more conscious of our spending. Were looking for value. Although I can afford it, I just dont think shelling out $50-70 for my family of four to go see a movie and eat popcorn is wise use of my money. See a movie here, take the money you save and buy dinner!

We had the theater all to ourselves late one night...;) Sound system is awesome, great picutre, comfortable seats. Buttery popcorn. High fructose corn syrup drinks and food. Classic if youre a classic. And affordable! For us low class folks. And for upper class citizens too. Dress nice. No dogs allowed. Have fun. Feels great. Good room temperature. No cell phones allowed. But seriously all folks of life are welcome. Dont feel like if you have money that youre not welcome, cause you are. And for low income folks, you can afford it, but dress nice. Popcorn is like 7 bucks. Sneak your food in, but not too much. Theaters make their money off of food and concession so just understand that if you want this place to be around for a long time. See ya there!

Old reliable. You like spending under 10$? this is it! You like decent bathrooms and clean seats and plenty of showtimes and lots of room to choose from? this it it. I love it. Yes I like expensive theaters, but guess what, when the economy is this rough monthly movies or weekly movies are pretty intense at 30$ for tickets and goodies etc., I dont have pockets that like that depth on high riding times for family time. I can make a huge dinner for six people with 30$ or order 6 movies from online for that price. So when I want to make sure I can do a weekly or bi monthly extra goodie for the family this is the place. Great service.

The last two times I have gone this place has been very dirty. I have asked for the name of the cleaning service and they gave me a name of one that had not cleaned since June 12, 2005!!!! One theater smells musty. Just avoid this all together and wait a few more weeks until the movie comes out on DVD. Not to mention I lost something in the theater, last showing for the night, and was told that the cleeaning crew does not return found items, just keeps them!!! Horrible management, horrible place, just avoid it! Wait when I saved this it showed 5 stars, I only give it one, because none is not an option!

Great place to catch a movie. Tickets are around a dollar fifty for standard and over $3 for 3-D. Went once on a Tuesday and we were able to get a large popcorn and large drink with free refills for $4 each. The movies are a little older (no longer showing in the regular theatre), but you can get a movie with popcorn and a drink for the price of one standard movie at a regular theatre... The price is also a great excuse to see a movie you loved over and over before it comes out on DVD. :-)

I used to go watch movies at this location for a long time and loved it. But about a year ago, during the movie, I started itching and when I reached home, I found a flea biting on my leg. After a year break I wanted to try that place again. I watched Hot Tub Time Machine and after I got home, I have found 4 fleas till now. Please be aware of this. I would never go watch a movie at this place again. I would rather watch the movie on DVD than having to pay for flea extermination.

Somebody Special

Great theater, great value. If you want to go pay 5x the price somewhere else, by all means do, but if you want great sound in a great environment, a real theater experience that any family can afford and enjoy, then this is the place for you. Drinks and popcorn are normal theater prices so that they can make some money. Come out and support this rare gym of a bargain, and quit fussing about an affordable theater that provides a valuable service to the community.

Im giving it 5 because we had everything, large popcorn, 2 drinks with refills a HUMONGOUS screen, phenomenal sound for $14 on a Saturday night!! Great, super friendly staff too. Im kind of a snob about going to the movies and expect a certain quality I was worried about the crowd at the theater since its a dollar theater in a somewhat questionable area of town and I cant wait to go back. the theater was packed and it was probably the best audience ever.

Went this morning 11/19/16 for the 10:00am Suicide Squad and the knuckleheads couldnt get the movie started. I wanted to watch football at noon so at 10:40am I left and got my money back. still hadnt figured out how to play the movie. This is what happens when High School students are running a business... very sad that they had no adult supervision. shouldnt get one star. wont let me post without at least a 1.

Came to see Antman 3d and Carmike 10 wouldnt except my card because it has a chip on and wouldnt try to swipe it at all. The guy at the counter was very rude and let me know "Hes worked here 6months and knows how to do it" I usually love coming here for the value of the movies especially with kids but today I was very dissapointed in their workers ability to do their jobs

Ive been going for years and I like the updates they have made. Its a good places to come and bring your families especially when you are trying to save money. Of course the popcorn and drinks are a little more pricey but they have to make money some way. I love the dollar theater! Not a big fan on the bathrooms but good place to come and watch movies.
