The theater is very nice looking. Very comfy chairs . That is the extent of my positive feedback. We arrived at the movie early in hopes of ordering food before the movie started, Pressed the button and waited a good 20 minutes for someone to come take our order. I assumed this was just so the servers could take everyones orders at once. Fine. My date and I placed our order and were then told we had to pay in advance, which was a huge red flag. I didnt mind the 17% gratuity. Whatever. The movie starts about 10 mins later. Drinks arrived relatively quickly and then the waiting game began... an HOUR into the movie I go and check on the status of our food. Could not find anyone! I finally find the server who had taken our order and she says the kitchen is backed up and has no idea how long it would take to come out. I sure would have liked to have been told that 30 minutes ago when I had pressed my button. I go back to wait. We wait.... and wait, by this point the movie is nearing the end and still nothing. Mind you my button is now pressed for a second time and nothing. I go in search of our money back and the servers are literally standing around giving me the stink eye, The manager turns up is not in the least apologetic and then could not even find my order until i gave him the receipt. We received the refund ( Hopefully itll show up or else I will be showing my face again) . Our food did arrive the last 15 mins of the movie cold and incorrect. I have never received such horrendous service and I am incredibly patient. When were leaving the theater a few people were also demanding refunds for food they did not receive. I see why Carmike is no competition for other major theaters. We will not be returning nor will we be suggesting this theater to others.

The staff was just da best. They smelled real good. Sent a tingly feelin down ma spine. Popcorn was great. I honestly feel for them because they have to deal with rude disrespectful customers who are just impatient, hostile, and honestly have no idea what theyre talking about. They feel entitled to free things and when they dont get what they want they pitch a fit and go on their own little tangent on the reviews. And it sucks because I come to this theater often and I have bore witness to just idiots throwing a tempertantrum because they WANT FREE THINGS. The staff is so polite honestly its unfair they dont have a chance to respond and tell their side of the story in these reviews. Because with tracy wells didnt realize she came in during the trailers. And oh my guess what THE MOVIE THEATER WAS DARK. Not to mention the screen was on because it always is the poor unfortunate soul just had to use her wittle eyes to look for a seat awwwww poor baby. And Tracy wells ASKED for that showing time and recieved the ticket he asked for and it turns out he was late to his movie.......(sounds like a personal problem?) but hey what do I know im but a very satisfied customer who likes his popcorn layered in butter. Ive been to several different dining movie theaters in Gwinnett county and I have to say this is the worst. I will never return. The service was terrible. I understand that the food and drinks are most costly, but youre supposedly paying for the convenience. We got to the theater about 15 minutes before the posted movie start time. I was not until the movie start time that ANY servers appeared! The server that stopped to take our order apparently could not get her device to work just walked out - without taking the order. We had to flag down another server 5 minutes later to place an order. The bill was delivered about half way into the movie, and then the server came by about 15 minutes later to collect it. It was EXTREMELY disruptive to the viewing of the movie. In addition, they have some type of LED lights on the ceiling of the theater that are not aimed correctly. It made the screen dim while they were showing the pre show and coming attractions, and also gave me a severe headache.

My wife and I used to like coming to this theater. Tonight we bought two tickets for a 10pm showing of a recent movie. The cashier who sold us the tickets told us the theater to go to. When we got in the theater we thought we missed about 5-10 minutes. We realized that the movie was further in. After it was over we were told there were two showings one after after but we were told the wrong theater to go to. Another couple had the same experience. We asked to speak to a manager. The manager was rude and refused to give us a refund or voucher for another movie. She used the excuse of the theaters being paid by the number of people who actually attend the movie. A BS excuse. The customer is always right and there we were but we were treated rudely. Will be sending a letter to corporate.

We visited the new Ovation theater in Snellville Ga a couple of times. I asked the employees to related to the manager (Zack) that the Big D 3d theater #4 sound was way to loud. We left the theater the last time we where there because the sound was ear bleeding loud. Several movie goers who where there also where complaining of the same booming loud sound. I love the new Ovation theater in Snellville. We go to the movies 4 or 5 times per month. I will not go back if someone from the theater does not contact me back and tells they they fixed the ear damaging loud in the Big D 3d #4. There are many choices in north Atlanta to choose from. I will be contacting Zack directly for his reason for this problem not being fixed. Ken

Nice theater should be its new however there is enough reason to visit AMC in Lawerenceville. The one thing I liked is food is ok and reasonably priced. The negatives would be volumes that are painfull even for someone who liles loud. There is a very distraction reflection of the lit seat numbers that is in your face the entire movie and last but not least there is a 17% gratuity that shows up on your bill with no warning. It is suppose to be optional but yoir not told that until yoir card is already charged. They are not a 5 star restraunt and shouldnt act like it. Nothing special wouldnt make any special trip here.

recently went to carmike cinemas, to see the book of eli; so recently is used loosely. However I was so disappointed not by the movie but by the cinema. It was my first time in the Snellville cinema, we just moved to the area so I thought wed find our movie spot, boy-o-boy was I wrong. The cinema was dirty, the threate we were watching the movie in smelled. My husband and I joked we need to wash our clothes in hot water once we got home. Needless to say we have not gone back nor will we. Very disappointed because they often show movies we liked to watch but we decide to go elsewhere do to the our experience.
