[Time & Date of visit] Saturday 9:30 pm Party Size: 7 [Location/Ambiance] I have never been to this theater before it was renovated, so I cant really describe any comparisons. Parking: Its mainly three aisles entrances from the front of the theater, the pedestrians walking slowly to their car might cause a up tick a bit of the road range threshold. Inside lobby: There are a couple of electronic kiosk for internet purchased ticket pickup as well as selling tickets. Though I think most people are still last minute Christmas shopping so the ticket lines werent very long. With the updated style language of the AMCs, this one would match the Phipps plaza. Theres a bar area on the left immediately after the entrance serving a full bar as well as a frozen margarita machine. Im not sure of the prices though. Inside Theater: Just like Phipps plaza, the seats are red leather reclining sofas in pairs with a movable armrest in the center. The seats are also reserved so that cuts down on people forming a line and rushing to get the good seats. Though we did have a family sitting in our section due to us coming right after the previews. And another couple stating that there were a couple of guys sitting in their seats to the left of us. Dam, F row must be the best section. Keep your ticket stubs folks. The separating walls for each row are also elevated so that you feel that its only your section at the movies. Its a nice effect, especially for those who dont do well in crowds. Screen size ratio to the seat rows, I feel that it fits the width of the theater. Though I was bothered by the glass "banister" that runs along each row wall. If theres any part of the movie that is on the bottom of the screen, it causes a slight refraction, especially if youre sitting fully reclined. Other then that, the movie going experience is very personalized. [Service] The theater has one main concession, and was hardly any wait. The cashier that was taking care of our parties orders was even cool enough to fill TWO separate drink holder boxes for the large (refillable) popcorn one of our guest purchased. How cool is that? I never really refill my large popcorn just in case I miss a important scene in the movie, so thats a plus to us foodies who love popcorn. One thing we were slightly disappointed on was that this location does not sell floats nor milkshakes like how the site menu lists. Steak n shake after the movie guys? [Food Highlights] I didnt see any "full entree" options such as what Studio Movie Grill or Movie tavern provide, except for a personal size pizza or hot dogs. They do have the coke creation station where you can get crazy with a soda combination. Also provided are the "Arctic Blasts" slush of coke, cherry and orange Fanta. Prices are typical theater prices. {Summary} Ticket prices are reasonable even with renovations that match the Phipps plaza theater, $11.44 vs $15. Definitely would recommend coming here for long movies if you want a comfy environment.

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience last night (July 20th, 2017). To be fair this is one of my favorite theaters in the area. When we arrived we noticed that they now offered additional meal items for purchase. I purchased a chili cheese hot do, and the triple feature (Chicken & waffle sandwich w/fries and cookie) I also had a Freeze drink. All went well until later that night when I arrived home and had the worst lower abdominal cramps and lower back pains. For historical purposes I have only had food poisoning one time in my life and for anyone who has suffered from it, you know exactly what those symptoms are. Long story short, after staying up all night with excruciating cramping, back pain, nausea, vomiting, chills/sweats it was very clear that the culprit was food poisoning. Fast forward to this morning when I spoke to my guest who joined me at the theater last night and her symptoms were exactly the same if not worse. She also had the chili cheese dog and a pepperoni pizza. I tried reaching out to Colonial 18 this morning for about 30 minutes and have not gotten anyone to answer the phone. I then called AMCs HQ customer care line to submit my complaint to investigate. I have no doubt I am not the only customer who has called. I will definitely be back, but highly suggest that with the new food items and food handling practices, that AMC be extremely careful in ensuring their employees are trained appropriately in how to handle food items. One other side note to mention. We were going to get jalapenos, but the lack of their being an actual cover on them and seeing some debris sitting on the skim of the jalapeno residual liquid turned us off. The pseudo cover that they are utilizing does not prevent things from getting inside.

Ive watched a couple of movies here over the years. I want to leave a good review, but for the past two times Ive had bad service happen to me. When I watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Spiderman: Homecoming, theres been something wrong with popcorn being delivered to my seat. When you buy movie tickets online you can choose to buy popcorn and have it delivered to your seat at a specified time. When I watched Guardians, I specified that I wanted to have the popcorn delivered to my seat 10 min before the movie started, but the popcorn arrived 45 minutes into the movie which is ridiculous. Then today when I watched Spiderman: Homecoming, I didnt even get my popcorn or drink that I ordered. I got a refund but still, I waited till thirty minutes in the movie and then I got the text that my order was gonna arrive any minute. 30 min after that (an hour into the movie now and the plots really intense) and still no popcorn so my girlfriend went to go check on our order, and the employee said theyve just been backed up on orders, which I dont get. I watched the movie at 12:50 P.M. on a Thursday morning. There was barely anybody there. I mean Id understand if everyone and their mom was trying to order popcorn and have it delivered to their seat , but in reality I dont think anyone else was. The lack of my popcorn and drink really made my experience here a little sour. If your going to advertise popcorn being delivered to your seat, then do it on time otherwise people are just going to get disappointed and annoyed. Also Im kind of mad that my girlfriend went out of the movie while it was still going missed plot details and still didnt get the popcorn I purchased. But I will give it to the theater that their seats are comfy.

I just returned from this location and it was by far, the worst experience Ive ever had at a movie. My roommate and I originally went at 7:10 to attend the 7:20 time of Get Out. All the seats with the exception of the front row were gone (this was understandable) so we decided to buy seats C6 and C7 for the 10 showing, as sitting in the front always gives me a migraine. We start watching the movie and were interrupted multiple times by workers checking my ticket. Then the woman who had previously checked my ticket, returns this time with a large gentleman telling me I need to leave the movie and come with them to the front desk. I felt as though they thought I had snuck in and were bouncing me out. I reluctantly follow where the manager (couldnt get his name) tells me that they had sold another woman my seat and I have to move to the front row which was all that was available as I had now missed 30 min of the movie. I stated that I shouldnt have to give up my seat as the only reason we bought our seat 3 hours prior was so we wouldnt have to sit up front. The manager said "well we cant just make someone give up their seat..." Is this not what they were doing to me? I was then escorted back to my theater by the larger gentleman where he stayed to watch me move my things up front, as if to be sure I didnt make a scene. Not only did I have to give up my seat and sit in the front. I was forced to miss a good chunk of the movie, all the while, being treated very poorly. A fun night out with a friend, turned into me sitting in the front by myself. I will never return to this location and believe they need a serious shift in management.
