I have always enjoyed going to the regal for the movies and often bringing my grandchildren with me. When I bring them I usually allow them to get what they want from the concession. I have always been of the mind that sneaking snacks/drinks in was wrong. So I have always bought my snacks and drinks at the theatre even when it costs 3 times the admittance. Last weekend I asked for a glass of ice water. When they pulled out a tiny cup I asked to just buy a bottle of water and get a cup with ice. He said sure thing and began, again, to put ice in the little cup. I stopped him and told him I really wanted something I could put a lid on. He said no, I couldnt have a bigger cup with ice. I told him to forget the water and left. I will never again purchase a thing from concession. I really didnt want to have to purchase a soft drink and a bottle of water just to have some ice water. Sometimes you need to look at the big picture. My not purchasing from concession ever again will cost you more than that one cup ever would have. Additionally, I was there, on a Sunday, for a 1:20 showing and instead of the $5 Sunday for all movies, I got charged $6.

Regal 18 is one of our favorite venues; the theaters are clean and the management is always ready to adjust volumes and address problems with seating. We have particularly enjoyed our interactions with Christian who has been the ticket-taker and security man for several years. He is personable, remembers us and makes us feel welcome. While the snacks are a tad on the expensive side, we understand that theater owners need the revenues they generate to make a go of it; most of the ticket prices go to the film makers and distributors. We miss having a theater at the Beaches; Regal 18 is the closest and, hopefully, will be around for a long time.

We came here on our Anniversary to see Transformers Last Knight movie. We had a nice experience. Friendly staff. Bought tickets 3d for two adults $24, candy $4, drink large free refills $7, small $6. Noticed everything was clean in bathroom too and in the auditorium 6 (except for a lil dusty smell and cup holders) Movie theatre took me back to my teen days. :) Movie screen is smaller than amcs and seats are regular cushioned and you cant pull up the arm rests to get cozy. They do have lights to see steps. Love the games and claws machines. Adored the sweet Amandas candy machine $4 there in hallway.

Customer service was great -- we felt really taken care of, and the staff working during our visit on a Thursday afternoon matinee was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Others have complained about the seating, but we found the seats comfortable. I personally found the decor pleasantly vintage, rather than outdated. My only complaint is a small one in that the air conditioning was set a bit high in the theatre that we were in. But then again, it was an extremely muggy day outside, so the AC level might have been understandable, and therefore, quite a forgivable offense in this case.

Movies have very good picture quality here. I saw The Secret Life of Pets and loved it! This theatre shows 18 movies at a time and they normally rotate every 2 weeks. There is a wide variety of concessions to chose from including nachos and popcorn. There are also ample arcade games in the lobby, available for use with an additional fee. The only complaint I have with this place is the screen size. Its ok, but a little smaller than you would normally find. Overall, its a nice place and I would highly reccomend it to people and families in the Jacksonville Beach area.

The staff at this theater are by far, the most friendly, helpful, and courteous Ive ever encountered. Every single employee seemed to be having a good time doing their job, and every interaction I had with them was surprisingly fun. This theater, out of every other theater in Jacksonville, will be the one I take my family to. It was clean, it wasnt too busy or crowded, the seats were comfortable enough, and the screens are in good shape. Its worth mentioning that I and my partner actually enjoyed the staff more than we enjoyed the movie we chose on this night.

Customer service is horrible. And the past 2 out of 3 times ive gone to the movies there was a problem with the movie. It froze and was forced to restart from previews. Over priced food. Also audio is not up to par. Im not just ragging on the theaters. I am just full warning other people to not expect a perfect expierence. I would personally rate these theaters at a 2 out of 10.

Was asked twice if I had a Regal Cinema card, said no twice, but no one offered to get me an application for one (or however that works) what kind of people dont offer when you say no? They need more competent people working there. Whats the point giving me a ticket for entry to get $100 Regal gift card if I cant read the website or entry number. Pointless...

Went and saw the new Star Wars movie and WOW! What an amazing movie. The staffing are nice, especially Andrea Allen, who is not only a former classmate of mine from High School but also a dear true friend. Shes helpful and beautiful at the same time. The food is great and the staffing are hard working people who deserve a lot of the credit.

Yes, it is an old fashioned theater, but it was the MOVIE EXPERIENCE, not like how open, cold, and empty things are now. Took me back to another time, plus they have this awesome candy machine called Sweet Amandas. I saw Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 in 3D and the pictures were great, and the chairs are comfy. Definitely coming back.

They are in need of a serious makeover. The seats are uncomfortable and seeing beauty and the beast opening week on not a "big" screen was disappointing. Also, when the attendants walk through the theater they need to notice sounds. There was a little child screaming 90% of the movie.

Great place and have been going here since i was a kid. Always had to see all of my favorite movies here and all the staff were friendly. -1 star for the prices going through the roof over the past couple of years. It costs like $20 for a popcorn and 2 soft drinks now.

Ive always had a good time at this cinema, the seats arent as nice as the AMC at Regency but its always clean. It IS dated and they do need to upgrade their sound and screens. Concessions, tickets, everything seems to be around the same price for all area cinemas.
