My daughter and grandson and i went yesterday. We ordered tickets on line the previous day. Its $8 each and $1.50 service charge. One local public water park is $25. Over 42" and $18 under 42" babies who cant walk free. Another public park is over 42" $38. And under 42" $23. If you are over 60 you cannot ride slides. Everyone pays regardless of age. This is a state park. All Delaware parks charge an entrance fee per car. You can get season passes if you go a lot. I have a lifetime because I am over 65. It cost me $50 and have had it for 10 years. This is not a grand bells and whistles park. It is not hugh but is a decent size. They have strict rules that are posted out side and online. Their staff was very good. The guards are very attentive. Whistles blow a lot. When its 98° it is a reasonable alternative to cool off. The food is no more expensive than most any other resort eating establishments. You can bring food and eat outside the water area. And come back in without charge. Its state run and they strive to be a safe and reasonable environment for all. If someone were to get harmed by wayward jewelry they would probably get sued. Also if you are under 2 you dont pay. They make you wear swimming clothes only for several reasons, which make it constant for everyone. I found it to be clean and well managed. Of course when its 98° it is going to fill up fast. You have other options if this is not a place you want to go to. But you will not find perfection anywhere.

It was awful. I called before I went and was told as long as your shirt is not cotton you will be fine wearing a shirt. Pay to enter the park, pay to enter the water park and when I was getting ready to have fun with my family I was told I had to take off my shirt. I am a disabled vet with burn marks on my front and back so when I refuse to take it off I couldnt go in the water. So when I was talking about getting my refund they tell my daughter she cant swim because of her shirt. So I didnt get my money back for either one of us so I wont be even thinking about coming back

Definitely not worth it. Management and staff are rude. Life guards blow their whistles constantly. Thunder struck and not only do they make you leave the pool but the park. We were waiting outside to get back in and my 4 yo son needed to use the restroom. I asked a girl closest to us if he could go back in. She instructed us to walk halfway across the park to use the bathroom. I asked her if she could see that hes 4. She gave me a look, turned around and told another girl who worked there that "he can f--k off!" It was cheap, but not worth the drive or rude experience.

I love this place but after my experience on Wednesday I give it a 1 star. I felt like I was being discriminated against. I understand you need to have swimwear to swim in the pool. For me my swimwear consist of swim trunks and a black beater. I was told I was not allowed to swim in pool with a beater on because it does something to the filter system. I was told I had to either change my shirt to a swim shirt or I had to leave. Their were other people their with regular clothes on and they did not make them leave the pool to change.

My kids really enjoy going and I love how attentive all the lifeguards are. In the small kiddie areas they have 2 lifeguards in each area and they are fast to blow that whistle when a child is running or engaging in potentially dangerous activities. And the price cant be beat! I wish the changing area had private stalls and was cleaner. That would be my only complaint/suggestion.

THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE HOURS ON THE GOOGLE SITE!!! It says they are open from 11 to 6. THEY ARE NOT!!! Drove there to find out they are closed and now only open on the weekend. WHEN CONFRONTED PARK "RANGER" was RUDE... talking about of you went to the full website it says we are closed... WHO WOULD DO THAT WHEN YOU GOOGLE AND IT SAYS THEY ARE OPEN???

We drove over 1 hour thinking we where going to get in this pool. Then we saw the entrance and we where very excited. When pulled up to the entrance the worker told us that we need to have reserved ticket and when we went to the website it was not on there. Cousin was sitting in the car so long that she had a weggie and her feet fell asleep .

Go on a weekday. The weekends are crowded. Nice play areas for kids, appropriately separated by age groups. The price is cheap compared to some local pools with no extras. They have a snack shack that is decent. Staff are young and not always paying attention.

Its a nice park and the price is fair. But you get what you pay for, the lifeguards are childish, immature, and inattentive. Its like they are one big social hour. I would go back, but I will not be relying on the lifeguards to watch over my children.

Very restrictive rules and pricing. Very confusing layout and closed slides were not cordoned off. Gets full quickly and children are very rude with parents nowhere in sight. Line moves very slowly and needs to be sped up.

Just looking on line now, it seems to be acceptable for a day trip down with the kids. I will definitely consider going this summer. Myself plus 8, hope theres a picnic table available when we get there.

Very clean. Even though the park was at capacity, there were plenty of places to sit, in shade and out. And lines for the big slides moved quickly.

Very nice water park for all ages My toddler and a preschool had so much fun. Life guard s very alert at all times. Nicely maintained.

Not bad for the price $4.00 at main gate and then $4.00 for each person at the waterPark gate infant or adult it doesnt matter.

This park sucks. They do not let us swim with a shirt, And I do not know why that stupidity, why we can not wear normal shirts

The lifeguards were rude and way over priced to have to pay to get in the park and then again to get in the water park itself

They have a really nice camp ground. Pool has some good water slides and a cool place to go kayaking.
