So I have LITERALLY left the house for my entertainment like four times since my son was born a year ago. of course my entertainment pretty much always includes the family but anyways, we all went out to guardians of the galaxy tonight i have not been to the movie theater in years. My daughtr, Son-n-law, myself and the boys (my 1 year old son and 1 year old grandson) of course. We had not even got past the previews and an usher was telling us they were receiving complaints about the boys (they were not being that loud) and they can basically shut up or we can leave (the usher was actually pretty polite about it) BOOM of course I am mad and they know it. So we decide screw it we will just leave. So they are telling us we will get a full refund and free tickets to another time. Thats really not my issue because well yeah my baby can be a turd but I just dont do things with out my family so more tickets to another movie with jerks that are gonna get mad some babies interfere with the previews dont really excite me. We had bottles ready to give them when the movie actually started. It was previews several people were talking no big deal whatever. So I am at the car putting my son in his car seat when Zack comes out and tells me the movie theater has an empty theater and we can have a private theater to watch the movie. So we got the theater to ourselves. Just let the babies go crazy and I chased up and down the theater while we watched the the movie lol. So BIG THANKS to Regal Cinemas 12 in the spokane valley mall for turning a potentially bad night into a great night at the movies.

My wife and I like to go to movies for dates and as we live in the spokane area sometimes go to the Regal Cinemas in the Valley. We always order a large popcorn and a large drink to share. We went to see American Sniper this last week and as we got to our seat and started eating the popcorn we noticed it was slightly burn. I went to the concession stand after the movie started and complained, they called a manager and he said sorry but nothing could be done as he said the popcorn was not burnt and it was just how it tasted to me... I had eaten maybe one hand full of our popcorn and asked that since he would not replace it with fresh popcorn to have a refund, he refused. I threw away the popcorn and then asked for a refill of my soda as it was a large which is what I had ordered. The manager said they dont do refills on Medium sodas at which point I told him that I had ordered a Large soda and paid for a large. I had to show him the receipt that said I paid for a large combo and then he refilled the soda but was unhappy about it... all in all I would say the service sucked but the movie was good. I had driven all the way to the Valley just to watch the movie a half hour earlier that I would have at Airway heights, next time I will not be going all the way there to pay more and have worse service, burn popcorn and an argument with management.

My young son wanted to see a movie so I agreed. We got there 30 min early to get a good seat. We stood in line 30 min with only 3 people ahead of us. We finally made it to order and my son wanted wings but was told it would take 10 min to get them. Told them never mind. Than ordered hot dog and was told again it would take 4 more min. Told them never mind. Order nacho combo and a small popcorn combo with a snickers ice cream. Really poor service to boot. (Young gal acted like she didnt want to be there and didnt care who knew it. It ended up costing me $28.00. ( $4.00 cheaper than going to Outback steakhouse for dinner for two.) Only we werent eating no 6 oz steak.... Their signage was horrible and kept changing just as you finally found something you wanted. It did not show the prices of the combos at all, if I would have known what the prices were we would have not bought anything at all. Popcorn was stale and we ended up throwing it away. We came home to activate our rewards card and that turned out to be a joke. I will drive the extra miles next time to a Village Centre for better consumer service and cost a lot less even with paying the extra for gas. PS, I have no problem letting everyone I know not to go there or any regal theater for that matter.

I never go to the Regal, I always go downtown to the AMC and mostly to see movies in IMAX. Today was different I was alone and since I live close by I figured Id just go to Regal to see Mad Max. Ugh now I remember why I stopped going here. Audio is mediocre at best, played well below reference volume. Also there was no proper screen masking so I had to see the black bars on the top and bottom of the film the whole time. And all that pointed out was how poor the black levels of that projector are. The seating is semi cramped and too flat, I hate having to look up at the screen (I was sitting near the back and still had to look up). Overall this is just a poor theater that charges even more than the much superior AMC downtown.

As a movie theater, there isnt much to complain about. Untill you drop your wallet. I didnt think it would be a big deal since we were in the last movie of the night and I knew the janitor. I talked to him the next morning and he told me, with vivid discription that he had found my wallet and gave me the name of the person to talk to. When I contacted the theater regarding it, they said it wasnt there. Even after talking to the janitor and him telling them he found it, one of the managers told me since it was gone I couldnt prove it was there and they wouldnt do anything about it.

$5 tuesdays! This theater is not the biggest and they may not have an IMAX screen, but the staff are very friendly and courteous. They have a very classic aesthetic and layout. Their food is also reasonably priced for a theater. Rewards card discounts make it very worth it. This is the only theater I go to, unless I need to see something in IMAX. EDIT: Somebody was talking and ruined spider-man for me. They gave us readmission, but I didnt care. I wanted the other people kicked out. And they didnt do it. That means the world to me, so I changed my review from 5 to 2 star.

Not enough staff for consessions. Was 2nd in line and still waited 5 minutes before it was time to take my order.... Mainly because the staff was way to talkative to the customers. I get customer service, but are they going to hold the start time of the movie.... No. Be nice, take the order and move on. Then told it would be a few minutes before they helped me because they needed to start some corn dogs for the people that was in front of me. All I wanted was a coke and popcorn. Well, I walked away and saved $14..... Train your staff to move.
