A nice cute theater. Very outdated though. Ive been going there since opening week decades ago and it needs a total exterior as well as interior facelift. The bathrooms are old, dark and dingy. The lobby is dull, dark and very cheap. The theater needs new carpet wall treatment and tile. Newer contemporary brighter lighting would be a great touch. Even the sign out front is barely illuminated as well as the exterior lighting needs to be updated and brighter. If you didnt know the theater was there you wouldnt know it even existed. It needs some flair and to be brightened up. The seating as well as the theatres themselves are very good with lots of leg room and the seats are large and comfortable. The sound and projection quality is also good but that will soon change with all the theatres upgrades and modifications taking place. Competition is stiff with theaters these days and this theater is so far behind the competition. And the management staff members absolutely never smile, it seems ALL the current management staff just hates being there. Another problem is the staff does visual checks by walking up and down the aisles several times during a film, this is very distracting and aggravating. Ive never seen this done in any other theater that I have ever been to. Also, during off-season this theatre limits its showtimes only to earlier shows, it just forces people to go to your competition, because no other theater closes early. I understand this theater being small and limited to the variety of movies they show but when new films come out the same week drop the older ones to show all the newest. Example, as usual I got a discount coupon emailed to me last week for The Belko and they didnt even have it at Wekiva Riverwalk but they still have Get Out and Before I Fall which have been running for nearly a month now. I go to the theater 3 to 4 times a week. In most cases I choose to drive to others to patronize. And its a shame. Also, I am not the only one that feels this way. Ive been going there for ever and would welcome and enjoy the improvements and changes...

The seats feel like sitting on a comfy leather sofa, probably because they are leather! Theyre not stadium style seating, but I actually like the "old-school" traditional seating. The floor is just slightly curved like the theaters when I was younger. Concessions were fine, normal concessions just like any other theater (not salty like the other user said). Nothing to complain about there. The viewing room is small by todays standards, but thats the way I like it. Overall, a comfortable viewing experience with Sony 4K projection technology. In my opinion, I liked the flicker of actual film better, but if you want modern tech, this theater does project in 4K. Even larger theaters typically use 2K projection. I live near the Regal Cinemas in Oviedo and the AMC in altamonte and take the longer drive just to get to this smaller location. Viewing is more comfortable and just as good as the other two I mentioned, if not better. Dont be hesitant to visit this older theater! The nostalgia of it gives it an extra star (traditional seating in smaller, longer rooms).

Considering my family has lived here for 20 years, Ive been going to this theatre for a very long time. I watched Wekiva Riverwalk fall behind when compared to other theatres and gave it up for more lavish places. Today, a friend and I decided to see and film and were drawn by the inexpensive ticket prices. I am thoroughly impressed with how well United Artists has improved a place from my childhood and adolescence. The seating was new and comfortable, the service was fantastic, and we didnt have to wait long for a ticket or snacks to see our movie. United Artists Theatre, formerly known as Wekiva Riverwalk, will be seeing me more often.

The seats are really comfortable. They recline back in a comfortable position. The armrests fold up just in case you want to snuggle with your significant other while you are at the movie theaters. Or if no ones beside you you can stretch out a little bit. Again the seats are quite large and theyre comfortable. They have a special on Sundays the tickets are very cheap I believe they are $6 for all their movies all showtimes. Just on Sundays though. Check out their website for more information on that. The snacks like popcorn and soft drinks are quite expensive though. Just my opinion on that.

I really enjoy the smaller theater. I had my daughters 5th birthday party there 2 yrs ago. It was a nice response from the kids and parents attending. The party area could have been better and a bit more secluded. The lobby and bathrooms do need a remodel. I do enjoy having it close to my home and not having to fight crowds at the larger venues. I have cashed in on some of the rewards too..that is a plus!

This place has come a long way. Been coming here for over 15 years now. Food is up to par with most theaters. The seats have been change a couple of times now. They are very much more comfy and welcoming. Super excited to have reclining seats in the very near future. The theater is pretty small compared to others, so if you going to buy tickets you should probably do so in advance before they sell out

Small theaters with so-so acoustics. At least theyve gotten rid of the pee smell that used to permeate the place. The staff are young and courteous. The tickets prices are low, but the food prices are traditionally over-inflated (stuff your pockets full of candy before going). Its a good place to dump off the kids for a few hours during school holidays.

This isnt just an Apopka best kept secret, its a W. Orlando best kept secret as well. Sundays: movies are $ 5.00 all day. Not a bad deal for new releases. I was reluctant to write this review thinking the crowds may get out of control, but I decided to share this secret of mine. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! FYI...... the name has changed to United Artist Theater

The best thing about this movie theater is the seating the seats both Rock and the middle arms go up. This thing I dislike is that the theatres themselves are long and narrow. And the floors slant down then slightly back up. So if you sit towards the back you are very far back and some viewers are in a "trough" and viewing is not the best.

Popcorn is so salty, it is not edible, nor recommended if you do not want to get stones, or if you suffer from high blood pressure. My gosh! Was not aware they inspect your bag. No way I will be returning. If you do not sell, maybe your prices are too high? Of course, this review will be taken off soon since it is not positive.

Ive been going to this movie theater since I was little and between the new seats and the $6 movie deal on Sundays, this place is lit They also have dim lighting that is nice and cozy for a theater as compared to AMCs harsh and bright lighting they use to promote their mural and bar

Price is fair and the recliner seats are a plus. There is only 4 theaters as of now due to renovations. After the work is finished it will be 8 theaters. Its not a bad place to watch movies I recommend this location. They do accept student and military ids for discount.
