Been here all Summer and I think its actually quite nice if you want a park thats quiet and relaxing. Beautiful views for most anyone who steps outside their door, quiet atmosphere. Pool always had fountains and flowers for a peaceful feeling and always enough lounge chairs to grab a space. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it probably would seem a bit boring to your kids if they like the parks with bells and whistles such as video games and lots of activities. I dont have young kids but their was a little playground and also it seems like a great place to let your younger kids ride bikes around the loop and you could keep an eye out easy. If your family is the water or boating type this place would be great. Water, piers, docks, fishing . I have kayaks and its great calm water. They also have kayaks, canoes and some other stuff for rent if you didnt have your own. Is a bit tight with RVs but not a huge deal as its more quiet then one would expect. You probably should make sure during reservation that you get a space to fit whatever your bringing because I noticed there were lots of variations in who could park their rigs comfortably with what they were driving or towing. A plus for me was they allow well behaved pets and they have a dog area. All in all, 4 stars out of 5 for me because I like things laid back.

My husband and I were here for 2-1/2 months over the summer. The owner is a stiff, rude, honorary old woman! Her daughter which works in there also, wasnt much better id say equally alike. It is so cramped you are lucky to get your awning out in the extended stay sites. Overpriced and as she clearly stated to me one day; its a business, Im here to make money! They gouge the hound out of you, because locally the only campground around. As much as I understood that we were still horribly treated after paying the 850 rent to stay there not including visitor rates that are $4 per person per day. Yes even if they are your kids you have to pay for them it only includes rent for 2 people period! It has nasty shower houses also like very nasty. Like knee boots required shower houses. The pool had lovely scenery around it but, it to was nasty. Every time I got in I had to pull someone elses hair off of me. If you can just find a different place to stay. I wish I couldnt give it 1 star. I guess thats for the views of the lake around and the fishing was good.

This place is a rip off, especially for long term tenants. First of all, you cant pay directly for electricity. You have to pay them .15 cents per kilowatt (its only. 10 cents from BGE) Might not sound like a lot, but when your electric bill is $300, it means they are profiting $100. Secondly, there are very limited places to park an RV in Harford county because RVs arent allowed in trailer parks so they are able to monopolize and charge a ridiculous rate - even with a pool and pretty view, its not worth it. And in the winter its even worse (the $100 "discount" definitely does not make up for it. ) Our long term site was in the mud/grass and not level. When it rained, the drain in front of our site would over flow and make a small lake. The only thing we did like were the ducks and the little playground.

When my husband passed away in June 2011 I found myself alone in our RV wondering what to do. Then I found Bar Harbor RV Park. I lived here from late June 2011 until June 18th of this year. I have NEVER had any problems with the staff or the renters in the apartments. The staff has always treated me with respect and they are friendly and efficient. The gated entrance makes me feel safe and secure. My daughter has stopped by to pick me up on several occasions and she has commented on how nice this park is. It sounds as though Mr. Carelli is one of those RVers who have to complain about something - even if it is not based on facts. This is a beautiful, well maintained, quiet, friendly RV park and if you are in the area you should stop in and stay a night or two - you wont regret it! I love it here! : )

I had my camper there the entire summer of 2011. We wanted a waterfront site and payed full price for it! We only went on the weekends. Your stay will only include 2 people, so if you have kids your paying extra for them! They will hound you for the extra money! Internet does not work! They rent apartments out by the pool. These people that rent from them do not like children. These people will put thier hands on your children so be careful! The one individual snatched a ball out of the childs hand! They claim that quiet time is from 8am to 10pm. If your radio is on they will come to your site and tell you to turn it off! Yes, even between those hours. They have one employee there that lies every chance that they can! My experience there was terrible and I would never recommend anyone going there!

Very congested and cramped. We made a reservation for a site that would accommodate a 38ft motor home. The site was too small had to pack it up and move! Drove an hour to Cherry Hill place. While I was there walked the shoreline and there was rotting fish on the sand it was pretty stinky. My husband said the pool and club house were tidy...this campground will work if you have a smaller recreational vehicle. But you are packed like sardines on top of each other...If you are use to the campgrounds from out west you will not be comfortable in this camping facility..

Not sure why others are squawking. I like and shall return here. The grounds are well kept, the people charming, the views are stunning! Marylanders will surely tell you of their famous and delicious Blue crabs, but for me being from a land far away (San Diego) my impression of this magical place is of the idelic scenery and tame wildlife. Birds of all kinds come hovering about your camp site, ducks will waddle about for a handout and locals smile and often stop by for a chat. Its worth the none discounted price.

Weve stayed here many times. Never had an issue. However looking over their website I now see a very aggressive stance against pets. If your pet is nearly invisible, it is welcome. If not, please make other arrangements for it! My dogs dont bark much, weve never been reported or complained about in the 5 years weve been camping with them. However I will not risk it with management taking a stance like this.

Not so friendly staff as others mentioned cant really explain the mistreatment from the staff. Worst experience I have every received at an RV park or at a business in general to be honest. The electric hook up box was located that the front of the RV in a pull in spot. When I mentioned it didnt work for me they just told me to leave if i didnt like it. I would by pass this park
