Ive been to a lot of theaters in San Antonio, and I think Northwoods is among the worst. The seats are worn and stained, and theres a distinct smell in every theater like its overdue for a cleaning. Theres a rampant problem with teenagers talking and using their phones in the theater, and when Ive told management has done little to nothing to solve the problem. Most other theaters in San Antonio have employees looking out for disruptions in the theater and solve the problem, but I have not once seen this happen here. A good example is when I saw Batman V Superman at Embassy, there was someone in my row who was talking loudly in the first few minutes of the movie. A manager quickly came over and asked them to stop, and they were quiet the rest of the movie. A couple weeks later, I joined a friend at Northwoods for another movie and there were people on their phones and talking. I went to notify management and very nicely explained the situation. Someone came in and looked around and then left. They were in there for maybe 20-30 seconds. I asked them again, very politely, to please tell them to be quiet, and was told that the issue had been taken care of. This upset me very greatly, and told them I wasnt going to come back anytime soon, and I havent. I used to go to Northwoods on a regular basis, I love seeing movies but after too many stressful situations there Ive decided to take my money elsewhere. When management obviously doesnt care about upkeep or their customers, its best to.

Always a nice theatre ! ALTHOUGH tonight wouldve been a lot better if their racist security guard wasnt following my family and I every move ! ( We are black ) . He took it upon his self to follow us to where we sat, then proceeded to ask for our tickets and no one else even though he was present beside the women who took our tickets once we entered the building. He then also proceeded to follow us outside when the movie was over and stood outside and watched us until my family and I said our goodbyes and parted ways. Guess Ill start going to Alamo draft house if thats how were gonna be treated.

Regal Theaters are a big corporate name and this theater was recently redone. It was originally an AMC. To be honest, the renovation is not noticeable. Pros: big theater. Lots of seats. Not too crowded during the day. Parking is well situated. Cons: Pricier than Santikos theaters in both ticket sales and concessions. They also do not have free refills on drinks like Santikos nor do they offer food additional to standard movie fare.

Although we live near New Braunfels (which has a horrible, dirty, nasty theater), Regal Northwoods 14 will now be our "go to" movie theater. Nice place, clean bathrooms, friendly employees, fairly comfortable seating, and big screens. And even during weekdays movies start right around noon, instead of like New B which cannot seem to muster a start time until nearly 3 p.m. Highly recommend Regal Northwoods!

My family and I like this theater, great location and ALWAYS friendly staff. Ive even taken the residents of my nursing home here several times and they have always been accommodating, though it would be nice that handicap seating would be perfect in every theater. Some wheelchair seating is right up at the screen in some of the smaller theaters.

Ive never had a bad experience at this theater. That being said, theres nothing in particular that sets this theater apart from others. If its convenient to your location, definitely recommend it. However, if youre not too far off, and dont mind the travel, there are definitely other options available in SA that will be more of an experience!

Its a movie theatre, so prices are pretty high as usual, normally clean seats and floors. If there is an issue with annoying people during the movie, a manager will remove them. Lobby is nothing special, but I prefer simple. A few arcade games and such. Alright food, dont recommend the nacho cheese though, staff is friendly.

Service is fine, but the smell inside the place.... #disgusting! I usually take my kids to this theater or a couple others around town. I cant stand the awful stench of movie theater floors. This theater is older and the carpet and chairs smell horribly nasty! I hope management reads this and disinfects the whole place!

Ive never seen it too busy. Hard for them to compete with Alamo Drafthouse food service and Santikos reclining seats. Anxious for the seat makeover to be complete here since this theater usually has the most movies and times. Yet still I prefer how Santikos has the self serve Coke Freestyle machines and Icee machines.

Not the cleanest theater by any means. The seats we extremely worn with food stains. There was a musty smell. The screen had a bright spot in the middle that was distracting along with a large black smudge near the top left. Sad to see this theater decline over the years. Desperately needing some updates.

I literally just left the movie early because it is unbelievably cold!!! Freezing!!! Talk about wasting energy on cooling. Just nuts. Apparently people know about this be cuss nearly everyone here has blankets and coats. If its 65 OUTSIDE it has to be 55 INSIDE!!! Not to mention a small drink is $5

15$ for 1 small popcorn an 1 drink with half price discount on pop corn. For kids day ,thats crazy did they jack up price before they cut it half. Glad I was just there for the dollar film for 3 kids dont want to know the price on 3 full price an if they didnt share. But didnt finish popcorn anyway.

I love how kids tickets are like $0.50 less then adult tickets, lol... The theater was nice the selection of stuff was good even though it totaled to more than the cost of admission. But in the end my kiddo had a good time, if the experience was more affordable I would come more often.

Great selection of movies and part of the Regal chain of theaters. Great customer service at the ticket window and inside the theater. Dont forget your Regal card before you come. You can no longer add visits online. Must be done at the theater.

The theater is just okay, its a little dirty, and the experience wasnt great. It wasnt the worst theater Ive ever been to, but with all the theaters around us being updated, Id rather go somewhere cleaner and nicer for the same price.

Close to my house and several places to eat. Easy to make dinner/lunch and a movie. Doesnt serve during the movie like all the new theaters, but they keep it nice and its a good friendly atmosphere. A great place for friends and fam

For a large multiplex this place is clean and they always have a large selection of movies and showtimes to choose from. Its not as fancy as a Draft-house theater but, if you want to watch a matinee this is the place to go .

Usually an enjoyable clean theater. Staff is friendly and prices are about average (that is going broke for a bag of popcorn can be expected at any theater). Four stars in comparison to higher end large screen theaters.
