Went to the first showing of Spiderman last night. What a great theatre! Love the recliners, the decor is a really cool modern-but-retro art deco, if youre into that sort of thing. Screen #1 is just huge - we were in the back row and it was still plenty big. A couple of warnings though - its hot as balls up at the top of the theater - heat rises you know. Also, the sound is not perfect back there - a lot of delayed echo that makes it hard to hear dialog. Just a warning before you buy a ticket in the top row. Everyone on the staff was VERY nice last night, despite being very busy opening night. Except for one guy at concessions who did not know the ABC rules for beer sales and was being a dick about it. He needs to chill out or be moved to something less stressful, like popcorn cleanup.

The theater itself was fine. The cafe had very limited selection. Drink prices too high. 5.25 for a medium, with no refills. Pizza was good but thin crust. Would have loved to see shakes, Italian sodas and sundaes being served. In my opinion, they should have put bar stools all around front counter and place a wall between theater lobby and cafe. Needs a lot of work to make it a decent place to go.giving 3 stars only because movie theater was very nice.

This newly rebuilt theater is gorgeous. They have a full service cafe and serve beer and wine. The seats are super comfy, but make sure you get tickets for the larger theater room since its the only one that has the reclining seats. Every theater has the leather seats but only the large theater has the leather reclining seats. Plus tickets are cheaper than Brendan in Vacaville which also has the leather reclining seats, or Regal in Davis.

Great theater! I love the reserved seating but, like most modern theaters, the sound is too loud. I saw a movie in a smaller theater and the screen was shaking because the sound vibrations coming from the theater next door. During Dunkirk, the seats in the giant screen theater were actually vibrating due to excessively loud sound. Next time I go, Ill alert the employees of this issue. 5 stars once the sound is at a reasonable volume.

Havent been to the theater yet, waiting for something that isnt playing across town, and spectacular. What I dont get is there are 10 screens here and only 5 movies playing. Are they so small that they have to play the movie on 2 screens. Sure hope this isnt the extent of what we can expect from a multi-million dollar city investment renovation. 10 screens should mean 10 different reasons and choices to go to the movies.

I really enjoyed the experience. Its construction respected the style of the old state; harkening back to ceiling mural and chandeliers, and drastically improving in all aspects. I have a corkscrewed back, so I can attest to the comfort of those seats (theyre better than Imax). The commissary; though expensive, is quit nice. Its only $6 on Tuesdays youd be a fool not to go.

The seats are very comfortable. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because there is no seating anywhere along the way to each theater. I am a handicapped person who walks with a cane & a brace on one leg that makes it hard to walk long distances. They also need parking near the theater.

Not off to a good start when theyre showing several 3D movies in 2D only. Was going to see Spider-Man on the big screen, but not in 2D! I saw Jaws 3-D there back in 1983, and now they cant show 3D at this multi-million dollar restoration???

Wonderfully restored theater with great decor. Seating is padded leather and includes wooden trays for food and drinks. Seating can be picked at the ticket booth (or at the self serve kiosk). One downside appears to be limited parking.

So glad to have this theater back! Went to watch Spider-Man on its first day and enjoyed it. Im glad they are adopting the idea of reserving seats along with recliner chairs. I will definitely come back for more movies!

The preview sound levels are extremely loud, uncomfortably loud. This is the first review Ive ever left for an establishment on Google or Yelp; hoping enough of these and theyll adjust the assaultive volume levels.

This is the best theater in Yolo. Leather reclining seats, decent quality concessions, decent ticket prices, beautiful screening rooms, nice screens with good sound. Really an excellent experience in all.

Beautiful renovation of this theater! The seats were very comfortable with plenty of leg room. The volume was quite loud but overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselvea.

Couldnt find a place to park, started to park at Chase bank next door, even though it was after hours heard the guy talking about calling for a tow truck. No parking.
