Dam you Florence Rave! You have ruined movie watching for me with your awesome VIP seating! Ok, so I had movie prescreening tickets to a movie here the other night, and when I checked-in and saw the low ratings I immediately wanted to say screw the free movie, let go to the mall. And the feeling stuck around for a while. The manager was plesant greeting people at the door and directing them, but then we decided to get pizza to tide us over since we left straight from work almost to make the movie, not knowing how traffic would be, or the line. Both were fine btw. They had one guy working there making food for a family of 6 and not even looking at us or saying "hold on". Nothing. Finally 15 minutes later another guy comes over to help us, and we order a slice of pizza that looks as if it had been sitting there awhile, as we didnt know if wed have time to sit and wait on anything else to cook at this point in time. We were then directed to the line and not another word was said by an employee. Shortly before they opened the doors, I took the chance of going and getting some popcorn. Fortunately when the line started getting a little longer, a 2nd employee came to help, and things went very smoothly with that food transaction. Finally they (slowly) started letting people in. We noticed a manager looking person walking down the line talking to people, we soon learned when she stopped us that she was asking if anyone wanted to go up in the VIP section. We figured sure why not, and away we went. And this is where I can no longer go to any other theater after this! Its like flying first class in a movie theater. The seats are big and comfy and even rock if you want them to! Theres a little table that swivels over your lap, and a service button, as well as an armrest that folds up if you want to cuddle, and a drink holder if you dont. We got menus and realized the food was at least the same price as downstairs if not cheaper! And then when they started bringing them out, they were even better looking with a bigger portion! And the kicker... Alcohol!!! Yes folks you can have a beer, or mixed drink, or glass or even bottle of wine!! Yes its slightly more expensive, but the mixed drinks dont skimp on the alcohol and theyre still under $10. Beer will run you $5. The waitresses up there are incredibly attentive and nice. They get the food/drinks out right away. You want popcorn? No problem, theyll get it for you. Get a large popcorn? Theyll even refill it for you. Seriously movie watching at its finest. I just wish theyd turn the lights down upstairs a tad more, but understand they need the wait staff to be safe. Now if only they had a way to not leave the theater for the bathroom lol. Seriously, movie was amazing, wait staff upstairs awesome, food upstairs yummy, wait staff downstairs? Avoid the actual food area (pizza burgers hot dogs) as that seems to be the problem (You think theyd be well staffed for a movie premiere?) Word of advice, it is seriously worth the extra $5 to sit upstairs in the VIP area. worth it and then some!

Went here yesterday to see White Christmas on the big screen, started 30 minutes late and then at the end, where Betty comes back to the inn and the general is ready to come down the steps the movie just stopped and the COMCAST logo and schedule showed up on the screen. the room was packed. no empty seats. one man is the back yelled, did you forget to pay your cable bill??? then they told us there would be no ending and that we would all be free passes to use for another movie. my husband said he wanted our money back they said no. there were seven of us. me, my husband, two daughters and three of my grandbabies. very very disappointment.

I went with my spouse and she wanted a pretzel, so we waited in line for 15 minutes to get a pretzel and the woman at the counter told us that we have to go over to another counter for the cheese for it. So we went over there and waited in line for another 20 minutes. The staff was terrible and didnt want to be there, the theater is overpriced and understaffed. The only positive of the entire experience is we missed the 10 minutes of advertisements at the beginning of every movie. I will never go here again, i still stay home and either wait or "acquire" my entertainment through the internet. (i mean netflix of course?)

Rave 14 in Florence is a theater with an "upstairs" reserved seating area that serves food, drink, and alcoholic beverages. As theaters go, I think it serves its purpose well. Since Cinemark took over, I havent seen any significant upgrades. The general seating areas are in fine shape. The food choices are more than adequate (Ice cream!). The reserved seating area needs an update. Several seats Ive sat in lately have had cracked leather. I find that a little off-putting. Overall, though, I like this place and will keep going due to its location, online ticketing, self-serve kiosks, and reasonable pricing.

I have visited this theater several times with no problems. However, tonight we were in theater 4 and found a bed bug crawling on my boyfriend. We immediatly got up and left the movie half way through and told management about the bed bug. Their remedy was to give us passes to come back, which we will not be doing, and explained that they have pest control come in weekly and were not surprised at all. Overall, very disgusted and had to spend extra money I was not planning on spending to buy new clothes and rubbing alcohol to use on my car and clothing before going home.

I like this place especially the adult seating... The food is priced reasonably for the portion size... Frequently you can get nachos or boneless wings and feed 2 people you have to be really hungry to finish it solo. The adult seating is 21+ and they let you reserve individual seats on a map via the internet. The adult area seats are getting a tad tore up and the tables are bent at odd angles now so I have to subtract a star. It was showcase and then Rave before cinemark and I think each owner fails to budget for the maintenance this higher end area needs.

Me and my husband come here all the time and will only sit upstairs in the 21 and over it is usually awesome food and great service. Today we went late in the afternoon... our waitress was rude, the drinks were awful, and acted like asking for something was an inconvenience. They charge so much for tickets then you have to order food, they need people there who can deliver a great dining and movie experience. Probably will be awhile until we go back. Hopefully with time all the people who dont understand customer service will be gone.

My complaint: There is usually only one person working to sell tickets. It is so frustrating standing behind people who are purchasing gift certificates, or having their card declined and discussing that at length, or asking for a movie recommendation, etc. They seem oblivious. My movie is about to start and Im just standing here. At times, there may be another person behind the desk, but I suppose selling tickets isnt their job. The theater is lovely, handicapped parking could be more plentiful, but overall a great destination.
