Good price for kayak/canoe rental, awful experience. Today, we resevered 2 kayaks at the Nature Center. The employees down at the dock were on their phones and were not helpful. In addition, a Tyler said to us, "I know you paid for this, but one of [the kayaks] is missing a pedal." During the ride, the boat was flooding. I cant believe the paddles dont have drip rings. My friend and I were soon drenched in unclean pond water. The local high school, Alan B. Shepard, has better quality boats and paddles/oars! There was no one to receive us; we went once around the lake and being soaked was enough for us to leave early. One man was helpful, and stopped leading a tour group to pull us to shore.

Always a treat to visit. We appreciate this nature preserve so much. Friendly well behaved dogs are welcome, along with children. :) This area is a treasure and a treat to the eyes and soul. No picnicing, no fishing, no feeding the wildlife allowed. Any nature lovers delight. Almost a mile of walking path around the lake. The waterfall is easy access if the walk is too much. Professional photographs are not allowed without prior authorization. Dont miss a visit to this towns national treasure. Just awesome!

Not handicapped friendly. We went to a wedding and reception here. The only handicap parking is by the entrance which is over a block to the wedding location. Abd ONE handicap spot close to the reception. Which was occupied the entire afternoon. The paths to the wedding location were covered with loose wood chips. I had both my walker which was impossible to move through the path. So we switched to my Go chair. That also had a horrible time moving through and almost tipped as I got to the venue

I been i there alot , i have agood time except the last time , the guys who drive the tour his name ( steve ) , he is most ignoring guys ever , he kick some people from the tour because they have agirl wearing scarff , & they left & i went over there talking to the manager , she was nice , & i make her apologized for them , because they dont speek no english , other wise everything is good , except the old ignoring man , i hope they fire him soon.

Beautiful, healthy experience. Scenic walking paths, nice people getting healthy. Great place to relax on benches and enjoy various streams and waterways. Bright, cheery clean atmosphere. Many different breeds of dogs and a safe place to enjoy walking mans best friend. I highly recommend the Butterfly Festival.....also crafts and food stands. ENJOY....

Great place to go for a stroll on a nice day with the family or by yourself. The trail goes around the lake and it is very pleasant. Doing so gives you a chance to unwind and get closer to nature as well as inner peace. Lake Katherine is beautiful! And whats best is that its free!!!

This place is going down hill REAL fast. The more I go there the less desirable I find it. The way that they are going this place is going to the dogs in the same manner as a good neighborhood turns into a ghetto... and REALLY FAST.

Great place to go walking, waterfall,ducks,geese,swans,turtles,kyak and canoe rentals. Has access to bike path. Only complaint is building not always open during listed hours and have to use portable toilet.

Nice public space. About a mile long mulched walking trail around the lake, and abundant wildlife. Nice mix of sunny and shady areas. Parking is challenging if there is an event in the clubhouse.

Nice bike trails, it is a very nice place for a walk. Good place for the children to play and explore nature. The trails are wood chip and blacktop so there are easy to moderate walks available.

I love this place. You can actually rent a canoe or kayak at incredibly low prices to explore the lake, and the riff havent found this place yet, so yay! A truly great family friendly place....

Beautiful amazing place. The hikes are great and we saw many birds and wildlife. Best part is the waterfall!!! My fiance and I are thinking about getting married here. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful for many occasions be it a leisurely stroll around the mile long track, biking or running. Has a flower garden, butterfly garden, and a facility with its own little nature museum.

Oh, my! Theres nothing better than to walk in nature. The walking paths are kept in good condition and you never know when youll encounter wildlife thats out to enjoy the day as well!

Beautiful area! We were there for the butterfly fest. Enjoyed the food, crafts and scenery. Great family fun, however we never saw the butterflies as the line was way to long!
