So Ive been coming to this theater since it was the Rave. I would say its about 50/50 now whether I have a enjoyable experience here or not at the AMC. Im going to average it out and give 3 stars. The movie we were going to see was All Eyez On Me, the new tupac biopic, we went yesterday, a tuesday. Let me get into my experience that made me want to write this review. Like I said in the start, its about 50/50 if I have a good movie going experience here. This night was not a good experience. We headed into the theater and there was not a lot of people at first, maybe 10 total, but every last one of them were on their phones and one couple sitting in the middle was BLASTING music on their phone. Now this wasnt at first a huge issue as the trailers hadnt even started yet, but it was pretty annoying. I like to get there early to get good seats, and to watch those little features/behind the scenes things they play before the trailers. The music from their phone was playing the entire time during this. Then the trailers started and they continued to play the music through the first trailer. Now this is just a personal preference, but i typically enjoy watching the trailers to see whats coming soon. And I also feel that while the ads before the trailers are playing, sure go ahead and use your phone and talk while the house lights are up, no big deal. But once those trailers start a MINIMUM of 5 various "shut off your phone" type ads have played. and the movie experience has begun. They eventually shut off their music by the end of the first trailer, but everyone else was still texting and using their phone with the screens on. Now to the more serious issue. As soon as the actual movie had started 8 teenagers came storming into the theater, laughing and yelling and throwing pop corn every where. and ran up the stairs to the very top corner (we were seated in the middle of the very top) so they were all right next to us yelling and laughing with each other and making a horrible mess of popcorn and spilling soda. Me and my friend looked at one another and said if they dont calm down in less than 5 minutes we are going to leave. Sure enough this continued well past 5 minutes and we left the theater. Which was rather unfortunate because we both really wanted to see this movie. We left the theater and went directly to the customer service window and we told them the issue with the people on their phones as well as the teens in the theater. I told them Id like 2 movie passes because we really did want to see this movie but only got 5 minutes into it. They were very accommodating and gave us the passes with zero hassle. I told them that I wasnt sure how the teens got into the theater in the first place because the movie was rated R and none of them seemed to be over 15 years old. They told us it was because it was summer and schools had been let out on break and they really couldnt control it too much. Hence the 3 star review. I was going to write a section about the AMC Premier card and how awesome it is to have one, but I reached the character limit, but serious look it up and get one if you go to the movies regularly, its definitely worthwhile and pays itself off in like 2 visits.

Ever since they have added those self serve machines the experience as dropped 90% it is now NO FUN to go there. It was bad enough you had to sit through 30 minutes of commercials then another 20 of previews before the movie would start but now you have to butter your own popcorn and fill your own drinks, just ridiculous and absolutely horrid experience. usually the area around these self serve machines is a disaster of spilled soda and popcorn so standing in sticky soda and crap while trying to fill your own drink is not my idea of a movie night with my kids. It is painfully obvious some corporate jackass has decided this would be a great idea, much to his surprise he is an idiot and should be made to work behind the counter. Looking for a better place to go, might just have to invest in the local downtown theater just so we dont have to go there. No amount of IMAX is going to fix this stupid decision AMC has made.

We got to 1-2 movies a week. The lines at the Brentwood AMC are always long when we attend and theres generally only one person selling tickets. It can take up to 15 minutes to get served on a weekday afternoon. Add in the fact that the "Premier" members are allowed to walk up and be served immediately while everyone else waits and youve got a bad situation getting worse. I suppose I could pay up to be a "Premier member" but there are plenty of other theaters where people in line are treated equally. Fact is, the Premier line also gets quite long at times thanks to the lack of ticket people. Ill be attending movies at another theater from now on.

Very nice theater and always clean. However, I often have to drive out to the Maya because it is also clean and more cost effective. I live just walking distance from AMC, but with a family of five it just proves to be more cost effective with just as good as an experience to drive to the Maya in Pittsburg. That theater is brand new, clean, and has held its good service for more than a year now. Sorry AMC, I refuse to pay $10.50 for a matinee and buy food too! And I cannot go to the AMC Antioch because it is really dirty and the health department needs to go in there and shut that place down.

This is a great place to watch the latest movie. To the guy who thinks the Do-It-Yourself machines dont make any sense, try standing in line again to refill your drink or popcorn. Good job on the convenience youve created with the self serve refreshment booth. The opening commercials are kind of long, but i can choose not to watch them and get there a little later. As for the movie previews, I look forward to see whats coming out soon. The location at the streets of Brentwood is top notch too, plenty to do while waiting for your movie to start. 5 STARS.....!!!!!

Brentwood AMC has managed to keep the theaters clean and free of drama. Pittsburg had a beautiful 14 plex cinema but they managed to destroy it within a couple of years. Im glad Brentwood AMC wont tolerate gangs and thugs destroying our theater. Went to see War Room, which turned out to be a really great "feel good" movie, I left uplifted and loving everybody! So much for "critics review." The proof is in the "bank" people. America is tired of the same ole same ole junk we pay good money for.

Heres my experience- Rude staff. First i wait in line to buy tickets for 20 mins then was denied to buy ticket because i was in the wrong line. The employee ended up arguing with me saying i had to wait in line again even thou the movie started 5 mins ago. Employee was hispanic girl that could care less about customer service. Got to the window second time she had the urge to waist more of my time tellin me all about there VIP program i ended up walking away. AMC NEVER AGAIN
