Once we faced technical issues that led to the cancellation of a show after people were inside the theatre. There was absolutely no announcement from the staff about the issue until people actually started going to them. Very recently this happened again mid-way during another movie as well. There was a delay of an hour and a half (this was a night show) before the movie resumed in another screen. The staff didnt have any clue about these issues in both situations. There is only a very small toilet for this theatre having 3 screens. Long queues for the toilet are a common scene here. Still, they charge the same as that of Century theaters, which is a bit too much. We go there as we dont have any other choice to watch new regional movies in our area.

Almost the only place in the Bay area to catch the not-so-big tamil and telugu movies. I really wish that wasnt the case because this is a horrible theater. Its like watching a movie in a old 90s style rundown theater. On the upside, if you are nostalgic and missing out on the fanfare before the show i.e. catch a movie with passionately rowdy fans, this is the place to go. Watched Kabali here; The pre-show celebrations made it to the top of superstars FB page!

Pros: Been here so many times, they let the fans do whatever they want. That is great; Its a regional movie theater, thats how its supposed to be. 1. We threw confetti during Kabali first day first show. 2. There was a giant cut out for Rajini right inside the auditorium! 3. I am giving 5 stars because we go to Towne3 to have fun and we have fun every-time we go there. 4. Front row seats are far enough from the screen 5. We feel like were in our home town.

Good place to watch an Indian movie, there are only 2 "screen rooms" in this theatre. The movies have English subtitles so that definitely helps. The rooms are decent, cleanliness is okay. Prices are reasonable ($10/person, discounts on Tuesdays I believe). Parking can be tough to get so plan to arrive a bit early. Overall, nothing spectacular like some other movie theaters but not bad either.

horrible rundown theater.., with poor seating and dirty floors.. their audio and video quality is not great either.. feels like you are in some ancient haunted house rather than a theatre.. The only reason they are still doing good business is due to the fact that they are sometimes the only theatre to screen certain tamil/telugu/malayalam language films.

Worst theatre ever!! Worst seating, Air conditioning, leg room and screen. And the foul odor .... . Cant believe the distributors are releasing movies which are priced twice than a Hollywood movie at this theatre complex. Never going back. I can guarantee that no locals will come to this theatre to watch an English movie. Its that bad

Not a great place to watch Indian cinemas. Dont try to compare this cinema hall with Century or other cinema theaters. Dont have high expectations on the quality of screens or hall or audio quality. Tuesdays ticket is $5 for most of the movies. I would prefer this theater only if the movie is not playing anywhere else.

Very bad quality of sheets and poor maintenance are the only 2 bad things I thought about Towne 3 cinemas. Now I have more to add. They started cutting movie length as well. Yesterdays nights Race Gurram movie length was only 60 mins. The original movie length is 140 mins. And they charged me $15. Rediculous.

This Towne 3 has gone from bad to worse. The theatres are smelly and to make it worse, the AC was not turned on. We mentioned to the Manager at Intermission, he said he will take care of it but he didnt. We came home with a headache. We sure are not going back ever again. Go watch your movie somewhere else.

OK, the theatre is not the best in class or convenience, and I go to AMC or Cinemark in best category every week, but I go regularly to watch Regional Indian Movies at Towne. May be Iam not Americanized yet!! 4 stars. Not exactly quantifying the quality but for the fact that they provide the language movies.

Its a movie theater showing South Indian movies. Dont come here expecting AMC/Century like screens/facilities. Schedules are unreliable. They start movies late. Popcorn/icecream/tea/coffee are available. Restrooms are ok but very very small to handle theatre crowd. They can make an effort to be cleaner.

Very worst theater i never ever seen like this. They are taking $10 from our packet and giving theater appearance as a kalyana madappa.. Worst experience. After watching the movie my ears are getting pain. Please owner. Change you setup to atleast reasonable best audible one...

Not well maintained and bad audio at times. You may not have much of an option though if you are looking to catch a South Indian movie that may not be playing elsewhere. Tip: Do not book tickets online unless its the first weekend of release or a very popular movie

Stay away from this place, better watch it from your home. Nasty smell, toilet is dripping and floors are wet from toilet water . Hall is nasty smell. Either is too clod or hot temperature . Sound system is old. Not worth. Dont know why releasing movies here.

2* for the ambience and looks of this place. Including the average maintenance, if any. But the place is affordable, can buy a few snacks for less. And they play a lot of movies from South India, which is great when this is almost one of a kind.

It smells like Bombay public toilet of 90s inside the theater. Is this theater in USA? Edit Sep 22 2017: It appears they clean theaters sometimes. If you are watching on the cleaning day, it is okay. Updated from 1 to 3 stars.

Only place to watch South Indian movies without needing to pre-reserve. Free public parking available across the road. Very small screens and generally not very clean as well.

I am pretty sure everyone will visit this theater for the first & last time. The theater is not cleaned for years, with all broken chairs spread across the auditorium.

Crappy theatres, but you do get a feel of watching a movie in the suburbs of India, if you like watching them in such an environment. I know some people do like it.

Shocked to see such a small theatre which is poorly maintained. Screens were small. Sound effect was very poor. A home theatre is much better than this theatre.

These theatres do not have a parking, Sound system, facilities are not that good. Small screens with less seating. But still movies can be watchable.
