I was disappointed that they never got the movie "Hacksaw Ridge." Im not sure how it works... Maybe its not their fault. Also, their drinks are extremely expensive (very typical... I understand their need to do that) but they dont offer refills, which is very disappointing after paying so much. They will refill popcorn but not drinks? Otherwise, I love to come here and watch movies and this place offers great $1 movie deals. Their staff is nice and the theater is usually clean and problem-free.

Great that you can see movies at a cheap price, but in such an awful environment. The bathrooms stank of urine and looked like a subway restroom. Most disgusting restroom Ive come across. Yet there was employees "vacuuming" up popcorn In The hall. I think they needed to focus on the un-sanitary mess. It seriously looked as if they hadnt clean it in a couple weeks.

The theaters ticket booth was out of order and once the movie was playing there was a slight, and constant, flicker on the right side of the screen though it wasnt horrible. The staff was very friendly, their arcade was large and at only 3 dollars for a matinee ticket I would still recommend it for anyone visiting redding and looking for a cheap night out.

Not bad for a super cheap movie theater experience. Went around the holidays, which is when the city is pretty empty, and there werent any people there besides the workers so it feels like a ghost town, or so for myself on the visit taken. The peeps working there though were really nice which may the visit more enjoyable.

My girlfriend and I went and saw a movie here recently and I have to say the quality of the movie and sound systems are very nice and immersive the popcorn was okay could have been a bit fresher, but there were quite a few people who had brought in some noisy outside food and listening to that was kind of distracting

Im a quality over quantity type of guy, but Movies 8 cut their prices by ridiculous amounts after the Movies 10 upgraded their theater. Its an older theater, with smaller screens, older chairs, but they maintain it pretty well and for movies that have long been out of showings you cant beat the prices.

Its a great option for a cheap theater in redding. The movies are a little old. Like as soon as the big theater shows the movie this gets it after but not bad. They do have 3D and if you bring a group of 3 or more on mondays we found out its literally like a dollar a person.

We have 6 kids and so Movies 8 is a popular place.. you cant beat the prices.. for $20 we can all see a movie..get popcorn..candy and drinks..movies 14 it is about $100... so its worth it for us to be patient for the movie to arrive at movies 8...

Love the cheap movies after 14, only problem is they dont always have them in any real order, just depends when 14 doesnt sell the tickets they need to keep it, go monday with at least 3 people for almost $1 tickets per person, and some change ;)

Awesome. Saw Guardians of the Galaxy, the screen was bright and the sound was loud. Well worth the admission which I think was $3 on the weekend, normally $1. Its not stadium seating, so its kinda nostalgic. All good.

Digital 3D for $3, and $1 shows with improved picture/sound quality compared to when tickets were full-price last year, make this the best value in Redding - if you wait for new movies to leave other theaters.

Fountain drinks taste mixed. I ordered a diet coke that tasted like root beer. Theatre is pretty old. Out of all the seats in the theatre I happen to choose the noisiest.

This Cinemark tends to get movies a little later than the bigger theater in town, but is also a lot cheaper. Great for families, teens, or people on a budget.

Its nice to have an affordable place to take the kids,(dollar movies) however...the theatre smelled horrible! Very dirty. The restrooms were very dirty also!

Cheap movies! Dont forget the discount days. Mondays are Senior days $1.40,Tuesdays are $1.25, Everyday the first matinee is $1.40.
